The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"I was not aware that in order to get my way, I needed to sleep with whoever I was to talk to. When did conversation come after sex? Oh nevermind, my chances are much better not to throw my self on any man that walks by simply because I want occurences to be in my favor." She sighed, finally speaking up. Was it her place? No, it most certainly was not, but she had spoken up after all. Then again, this was Thorn, she was not one to bit her lip and move on, no, she would speak up for the whole world to hear if she had a problem. Currently, her problem was this erogant 'goddess of chaos'. However, how could she be so quick to judge? Oh yeah, because it was in her character. Her views might change, but not for now.
Thorn stopped gagging over Eris' seductive activity as she turned her attention to Syn, who had complimented Thorn's outfit and had introduced herself. "Thank you. As it seems you have already heard my name, I am curious where it is that you and the others are 'heading'? For I have no intention of staying for the show. That is, if you do not mind my company."
Thorn gave a decent response back to Syn as she asked about what they were doing. "Well, we were thinking of getting something to eat out on the town somewhere. You can come along if you'd like." Syn turned back to Dorian before any of the others could speak up. She spoke in a very sarcastic tone. "Enjoy your love doll there. We'll be out for awhile so don't wait up." With that she turned to the receptionist. "Be a dear and open the doors. Thanks." She then turned towards the front doors and began to walk without looking to see who was following. In fact she didn't really care who followed. All she knew was that she was hungry adn wanted to eat and to get some fresh air.
Standing in the same spot this whole time, Alex was about to leave until the sudden entrance of the two girls. Honestly, they even startled Alex when they arrived. At first, he was just gonna brush it off and leave. He was about to move until the woman in red caught his eye. Her approach towards Dorian, the essence she gave off, and the manner of her behavior, it was all to familiar for Alex.
This turn of event now caught Alex's interests. In jst these moment alone, a wide array of mutants appeared before him. At the rate that this was going, it would be apparant that even more mutants will be gathering to this city. Something was definitely going to happen, and the chances of "him" appearing may very well be.......
This changes things now, but Alex still needed some time to think. Before he knew it, Alex began to walk along with Syn by her right side. "Well, this has been a very festive day." He said out loud.
The words from alexander made Syn stop in her tracks as she wasn't expecting him to follow her. Turning to face him she tilted her head a bit in a curious gesture. "Yes, I suppose it has been. Are you following me Alexander or are you just going for a breath of fresh air?" She then looked to see who else was walking along with her if anyone. Her attention then drifted back to Alex. "So are you sticking around or going out on your own then?"

Kaz had began to walk out with Syn on his right. As Alex began to walk on her other side, he sighed and ran his hand through his hair. He met Syn's eyes as she looked behind her at any others that were coming. He hoped she understood the look on his face and in his eyes 'I don't like him, but I'll tollerate him if he decides to come.'
As Eris stroked his face, Dorian knew that this woman was trying her hardest to win Dorian over, this becoming even more obvious as she massaged his shoulder. He felt slightly uncomfortable with this behaviour in front of the other mutants, as he didn't want to give the wrong impression, that he was easily bought.
But there was something about this woman. Not so much her sensuality, but rather her powers. Such a powerful ally could come in handy. He would tolerate her forwardness for now. Just as he was about to accept her partnership offer, the other mutants left. Funnily enough, this made Dorian even more uneasy, as any excuse for her to restrain herself left with them.
His eyes returning to hers, Dorian spoke: "I accept your offer. It shall be interesting to see what a mutant of your ability can do."
Concerned with how she would react to the good news, Dorian took a backward step towards the elevator door. "Unfortunately at this point in time I'm very busy finalizing some crucial plans, so if you could excuse my rudeness, I bid you farewell."
Dorian entered the elevator. There were no buttons inside; Dorian was the only person able to use it, because it relied on Dorian metally communicating a password to a special sensor.
Reaching his office, Dorian walked over to his desk. He had been far too distracted in the foyer, but at last he could begin the final stages of planning for his scheme. With the events that had occured in that short period of time, Dorian would have to take into consideration multiple factors he hadn't needed to think of before, factors such as Eris and the Gainsborough boy. Regardless of this, he could soon inform the other mutants of what his plans were.
Eris smiled as he made his decision. In her mind, she had him right where she wanted him. Not a step further or closer. She watched as he bid them goodnight and walked into his little elevator, then wasn't seen again.
She turned and looked at the other mutants. Idiots... all of them. No matter, she would get what she wanted, and she would get it soon. Nothing else mattered. Nothing indeed... Everything mattered. Everything. How crazy is the circle of life?
She stepped away from the group after eyeing each of them with contempt. Slowly she made her way to the door, and with the flick of her wrist the lock pulled off. She had bended the gravity around the lock to be extremely small, so the extreme relative gravity of the lock had made it easy prey. A simple trick, but certainly one that amused Eris.
She glanced back at the man she had killed. In that moment, she felt a little sadness. Maybe a little remorse for what she had done. But no, she couldn't go there. She couldn't let that emotion take over. Pushing the thought from her mind, she pushed open the door and walked out. Then, she turned and faced the building.
"I'll be back in a little while Mr. King. Soon, very soon... I will be back, to finalize our deal. We will work together, to achieve the goals we have set out." Bending the light around the building for a split second, she aimed at a window, and the shadow of the words she spoke shot through the glass. She heightened the energy of the light, and probably likely as not made a small burned impression on the wall opposite the inner glass. A little message that she would leave for Dorian. He would be impressed...
She swiftly walked into the crowds of downtown New York, and checked her clock along the way. Not good, her time was running short, and she needed to reach the house before that time. Glancing around her to make sure she wasn't followed, she finally reached the gates of her home. Nodding to two of the guards, she went through the intricate security system she had set up to guard the home. Passwords, print identification, body language. The computer checked it all. Only Eris was allowed inside this building. Anybody not matching up would immediately have their body filled with hundreds of thousands of degrees of heat, from one of the large telsa-like coils that were found at each checkpoint.
She finally entered the house and bounced her eyes down to the watch once more. 2 minutes left. She walked up the stairs in a hurry and finally found her room. Collapsing into her water bed, she hit a nearby button which protected the doors and windows to the room with the same electric charge as outside.
The last thing she did before losing consciousness was glancing at her watch. 3... 2... 1... 0.... Her world faded to black.
"...........it would probably be best if I minimize any interaction with him." Alex replied as he looked at Syn, then at Kaz. "So for now, I'll take my leave of you all. Cheerio." Alex then quickened his pace a little and walked past the others, taking a different route from where they were heading.
Some time later, Alex was still walking through the city as he thought of the actions that has taken place. With so many mutants beginning to migrate their way to New York, his searching will definitely become a little more difficult. He was beginning to wish that he had psychic powers now. At that thought, Alex suddenly remembered something about another complex in New York that had a Mutant who actually had the ability to locate anybody.
"Now what was his name again? Prof.............Xavier?" Taking out a PDA he had in his pocket, Alex began to go through the data for anything that might have what ne needs to know. Soon enough, Alex found an address for Xavier's Institute for Gifted Youngsters. It was a start, so Alex decided to head for the institute.
Isabel hurried to catch up with Syn and Kaz as Alexander took off on his own, looking back a moment to see if Thorn was following. She was just eager to get away from the crazy red leech woman that had already made a less than favorable impression in her mind. "So, are we heading to anyplace in particular?" she asked, turning her gaze to watch where she was going instead of looking behind her. With her luck she'd end up running into something.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.

Kaz heard Isabel coming and turned around gracefully. He seemed to glide just above the floor, as if a light breeze would pick him up and blow him away. In doing this he also moves just ahead of Syn so he could look at both of them when they or he spoke so he wouldn't be rude to either. Shrugging with a liquid motion, "I'm not picky. Though I haven't payed any attention to the eats around here. Just the dojo's and clubs, both party and fighting." He kept walking backwards not bothering to ever look backwards, yet avoiding that walked on the sidewalk along with them with gliding motions as if he was on skates.
The woman smirked and pulled the flask out before she took another shot, this time more than a shot. Now the smell leaked out, it was vodka, had to be. This one had an effect on her and she felt the world slightly spin. Not too much, no, not at first, but she smiled and followed the group of the young mischievious ones. In a clumsy attempt to get out of the building and get to this place to eat, she tripped forward, but did not hit the floor. Laughter flowed from her and yes, she was now tipsy.
Drunk? Far from it. She was merely feeling good, ready to take another shot, but she did not know if she should or not. Even though she wanted to, something told her to share...as if. She took another shot before making up her mind. If she wanted to make it in this group where she could cause chaos and terror, she needed to let those that were already involved warm up to her. And if these really were the people she thought they might be, they would like the flask.
So, reluctantly, she pulled out the flask and asked "Anyone wanthome?" Then she pulled out a cigarette and a lighter from her pocket and lit the cigarette before taking a puff and offering cigarettes. Now where she held the cigarettes, lighters, and alcohol, one might never know, but she always had it on her and she was always willing to smoke or drink.
Alexander departed in a most polite manner. Something Syn wasn't used to experiencing. She was used to rudeness and aggression. Yet, it seemed that Alexander would be hanging around for the time being. A smile slipped across Syn's beautiful face as she saw her little group was with her including the new arrival named Thorn. She watched Kaz showing off infront of all these hot girls. Then she turned her attention to Thorn as she asked the others if they wanted to smoke. "No, I don't do that stuff." she said as she raised her hand and showed it palm side to Thorn. "I know this cool place that has a live band and some good food. It's not too far from here either."

Kaz knew he was more than enough for all three of these lovely young women, though as he did his 'dance' so to speak, he only locked eyes with one: Syn. It was just at this time that a man walking against their flow stopped to avoid the backwards walking Kaz. Once could almost see Kaz's ears purk and twitch like a cats when the man began to step right to avoid him. Kaz made a rotating arc around the man's left side like water moving past a stone in a river.
When he was behind the man and the group continued forward he addressed Thorn, "Thanks for the offer, but no thanks for now. Too early to be drinkin, at least for me." Kaz began to slow his pace just a small bit before he stopped mid step and turned a 180. He finishes his mid step walking along side Syn. "Sounds like a fun place." He juts his hand forward pointing with his index finger, "TO FOOD!"
