"What say we go get my sword and head to our training arena to find out?" he asked Ire who had stood and smiled for the first time at Orion in many centuries.

Ire's heart lightened a bit with the thought of a sword fight.

"Sounds good, but what of these two, Chaos and the girl?"

"They will probably follow and watch seeing as we seem to be entertainment for the evening anyway." Orion said as he went over to Tricity and gave her a kiss. She seemed happier now that she knew it really was a workout and not some form of deadly battle. Taking off his shirt he wiped his forehead and grinned broadly. "Is it me or is it hot out here?" he asked as he motioned Ire towards the cars. Archon followed Ire and Orion to the Charger while Tricity and Chaos headed toward the Mustang.

Ire looked at Orion confused. He didn't much like these metal beasts.

"I've seen many of these metal beasts, what purpose do they serve? It seems it would be hard to train one."

"Think of them as very fast and weather proof horses. Theres alot im going to have to teach you about the 21st century, but i think youll grow to like it in time. Meantime grab the black metal bar, pull it andsit on the....er...saddle."

Grabbing the bar he pulled it to the indicated position.

"Ah, it's a strange time you live in Orion, very strange indeed."

"Its about to get much stranger, my friend." said Orion as he started the Charger and the engine caught and settled into a dull roar. "That little black box you saw me talking to earlier was connected to that woman I kissed. Thats called a Phone. This is called a car." he said trying to explain things that ire had already seen to him.

The tinkling of Archons little bell was driving Orion nuts so he called the beast forward from the back seat. The massive wolf put its front paws on the center concole of the car and orion took off the collar.
"When did she put this friggin thing around your neck, buddy?" he asked as he rolled down the window and tossed it out. Ire was startled byt the sudden rush of air until Orion explainerd to the how fast they were going. Ire hadnt seen out the windshield yet to verify this. But when he did Orion could see the smile cross his face. He seemed to enjoy speed. 'Ok, lets pour it on, then.' Orion thought as his foot pressed deeper on the throttle sending the big car surging forward well past sixty miles per hour.

Ire enjoyed the pure speed the beast expressed. He thought that if he ever had to fight such a thing he would be in some trouble. But this gave him motivation, he decided that he would devote most of his time to training as he did in the old days and would become that much better.

"So where are we heading?"

"A place that I have come to call home and I hope you will too someday. The Mansion. Then theres my Cave, which is my personal favorite. We gotta stop at my Cave first to get my sword, before I show you the mansion though. That is if youll want to duel after you seee all this." Orion said as he guided the car back onto city streets and headed toward the Cave.

"I'd have it no other way."

*chaos turned to tricity* "so u came cause u were worried huh...." * she nodded* " so did i.....but seems like it was really nothing, ........hmmmm thats odd(he mumbled) im gonna walk around for a bit......i should be fine on my own....ive been training pretty hard lately......" * with that he gave off a wave and ran off*

Orion smiled and was glad Ire was not trying to knock his head off anymore. Shifting into fourth they exited the freeway onto the back roads towards the cave.
