The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Siren sits, rocking Apollo to sleep. "... go to bed. I'll get the kids to sleep." He says, tired and sad, and sounding his age for probably the first time since Delphi's known him.
*Delphi nodds not trusting her voice, she walks out of the room and to the bathroom for a few minutes to try to calm down. She then walks to the pull out and stays as far to her side as she can manage, trying to fall asleep and trying to not cry.*
Siren eventually gets everyone tucked into bed and sleeping. He, however, is a nervous wreck. He goes to the bathroom to be by himself a moment, sitting on the edge of the tub, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"<Fuckin' three.... fuck....>" is his mantra. When he finally goes to bed, he stays on his side.
*Delphi wakes up really early on Saturday. She gets showered, and dressed, and gets the babies bottles together. She then does a round of feeding and changing before she has to go. She gets her stuff together and pauses before Siren just looking at him, that was a big decision last night, was it the right one? Doesn't matter it is done.* Siren, wake up . . . Siren, I let you sleep as long as I could. Ok, the kids are fed and changed, try giving them some cold medication before their afternoon nap. It should help them sleep.
"Munheeh...?" Siren sits up. "Nuh.... Oh. Medicine. Right. Have a good day." He says, shaking his head, and trying to get out of bed. He's still very sad.
Yeah, . . you too. I'll try to get back in time to help pack some more. *Delphi says ducking out of the door and headed off for her class with Dr. VanDeKamp.*
Siren spends the days with the kids, in a bit of daze. He's very hurt and upset, but the anger and determination to prove he's a good father keep him moving well enough.
He gives the kids their medicin before their afternoon nap, and they indeed seem to stop sniffling before Delphi mannages to get home. He's got just about everyone fed before she shows up.
*Delphi walks in feeling apprehension in dealing with Siren, but still a little happy from her afternoon's accomplishments-well morning's really. She puts her stuff in a neat pile off to the side of a pile of half packed boxes.* Hey there Apollo, Harmony, and Aria. Were you all good for your dad? *Delphi says sweetly to the babies. She then asks Siren in a normal voice,* How did they sleep, ok?
"Straight through. I think the medicine had a sleep aid in it. Which was fine with me. Caught a little nap myself, actually. The Mansion dropped off a van. It should have room enough for all our stuff."
Well that is good, on both accounts. Need any help feeding them or should I start with the boxes? *Delphi asks surveying the mess of an apartment that they are in the middle of right now.*
Alright sounds like a plan. *Delphi says, retreating to the bathroom with two boxes and packing up all the stuff that had to be left out so that they could get washed for today. Delphi is in there for about 45 minutes before she pushes the boxes out and shuts the door.* Bathroom is empty, she declares, not so much excited as final.
Siren's put out a blanket and a number of soft toys for the kids. "Great. Watch the kids while I haul stuff down?" He's boxed quite a bit of stuff himself throughout the day.
Ok. *Delphi says sitting down on the edge of the blankett with the kids. She grabs a simple kids book and reads to them, she nows they don't understand but the silly voices and faces and using stuffed animals as characters keeps their combined attention and allows Siren some time to load the van.*
