“GRRRAAAGH!!” Wayne screamed as the woman pulled the knife so cruelly from his hand.
Instantly a wave of revulsion overtook him as he found himself struggling to keep his consciousness. The pain was unbearable, the blood smelled disgusting and all he could see where the blurry, mocking faces of the woman who threatened his life and the man who had just run his hand through with the knife. He was angry, but also scared beyond all believe. Those two were certifiably insane…
>> "There now. That wasn't so bad was it?"
He was going to put a bullet between her eyes. That was all Wayne wanted to do. But instead of issue a threat, the spoiled rich crime boss, gasped as he quickly grabbed a towel from one of his bumbling goons and wrapped it tight around his hand. The pain muted him as he just stared daggers at the pair.
Vicente, on the other hand, was simply enjoying the whole floor show. He watched, a tiny smirk on his face, as stood and awaited to see what the woman would do next. He was warming up to her more and more. Not as a friend, obviously, but a possible contact should he need it. Seemed she didn’t care what she did so long as the price was right. Besides, he knew one day he would have to kill her. Why not keep tabs on her in the process?
As she sauntered back over to him, she handed back his knife, that disturbing smile still on her face…
>> "I believe this belongs to you."
Silently he nodded as he took the blade back. Grabbing a cloth napkin from one of the tables, Vicente wiped it down, polishing the steel blade of all the red liquids that had coated it prior. His blades got quite the work out this evening and thankfully he was getting paid for all of it. Well…maybe not for Wayne. That was simply for the fun of it so he wouldn’t charge anyone for it.
As he returned the blade to its sheath, he spied her again, this time returning with what he coveted so much…his money.
>> "And this as well."
“My thanks,” he said as he took it gratefully from her. It was lighter than he would have liked, but not bad for killing a pair of two bit goons. At least the evening would not be a total loss thanks to the actions of this assassin. Though he would make sure that there would be no more double bookings in the future. Can’t make a living off of 30 percent of your promised wages all the time.
A glance to the side and Vicente grabbed a plastic take-out bag from behind one of the counters. Flicking it open, he dropped his cash within and tied the handles tight. He would be guarding it with his life, obviously. Money is in fact what makes the world go round.
A nod to Falcone and to the woman he grinned. “Pleasure doing business with you all.” He said as he turned to leave. “I do hope to get your call soon.”[/colo]
Falcone grinned and held his glass of wine up to him. He knew he could get the information from Corinth. The man was dying for money so he could easily buy the male assassin’s contact information for a low price. The man seemed like he was going to be well worth it.
A glance to the woman and Falcone nodded to her.
“Well, if that is all, Wayne and I have other matters to discuss,” he patted the younger bosses shoulder which instantly made him wince and suck in his teeth. “I’ll contact you if any more jobs pop up.”
