The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Michael saw that his idea had taken hold and people were now headed his way, Deathstar in the flashiest manner. With people making their own way to him Michael set about the bots behind him. While he had had no formal sword training, he’d seen a lot of movies, and as he had no worry about being hit that would suffice.
Reversing his grip he stabbed backward, getting the robot who had just whacked him on the head. Whirling the sword around he slashed another, causing it to collapse in a heap. A pair of robots ran at him, one behind the other. Turning he held the sword out point first and focused. The front robot tried to knock the sword aside with his baseball bat, but it didn’t budge and instead he and his friend were impaled upon it.
Pulling the sword free he held it up high and called out, “Thanks for the sword Sentinel, now I get to break stuff as well.” As he spoke a robot smashed him in the ribs, knocking him sideways. Regaining his balance he spun and decapitated the offender. That blow had been a hard one, he wondered how all the non invincible people would do if they got hit like that.

Calley
Calley got hit like that. A sickening crack came from where his ribs should be. Slate-!
Coming.
They might not have known each other very long, and they might not have liked each other very much, but there was one thing on which Calley and his split personality could agree. Two things, actually. Number one: Doc Jimmy was a Sucky McSuckface. ...Eloquent.[/color] Number two: Hunter could shove off. That order to not heal unless they had to, and to claim they did it when they shifted? Yeah. No. These were their powers, thanks. They could run ‘em just fine without the input of a Scary Violent Currently Angry at Them, Potentially Homicidal... Boss Man... With a Button That Made Them Explode...
With a distinctly irate mental sigh, Calley and his clutter got gracefully swept to the back of their mind. Do not think about it, Slate advised, as he took control. Their ribs were healed before the thought was even half-way complete. He turned his maw slowly, and viewed the offending robot through baby blue tiger eyes.
Easy for you to say, Mister Freaking Zen Meditation, but it’s not so easy for the someone who minds pain, thanks, and—
Then think quietly, Slate replied, squishing the clutter down to a mosquito buzzing at the back of their mind. With a casual air, he separated the robot’s head from its body with a swipe of his paw. He had not been sure that would work. Curious—apparently they did contain enough power in their muscles to do so, so long as they did not mind crushing their own paw in the process. Slate did not. He shook it out as he lowered it. Small blood flecks scattered—quite beautifully—through the air. The paw was healed before it touched the ground.
He took a moment to sedately observe the scene. There was the man they were helping; two girls with some knowledge of combat; the cat girl; the furry man; the girl who wished to explode them all; a man with crystal armor; the invincible organizer, and others. Hmm. He made sure the camera on his collar tag was given a clear view of everyone in the room and their little powers, too! before he rejoined the battle. The group was getting closer together, now. He set himself up at the outer perimeter, removing the surplus of mechanized opponents from the stragglers who were attempting to join them.
The large tiger was a much more efficient fighter than he had been, a moment ago. He had ceased purring.

Ted looked over at the shout to come together. He then looked around at the many robots surrounding them. That's probably a good idea... though how to get there? Grinning, he grabbed tristan, ahuled him over one shoulder, and made a beeline for Michael. He smashed multiple robots that were in the way, and was soon standing by the shiney sword weiling, invincible man's side. He put Tristan gently, and gave Michael what he thought was a friendly growl.
He decided to continue smashing robots. It's not like there was anything else to do. He lifted up the closest one, and tossed it across the street. He noticed that most of the mutants in the room were gathering to Michael, and thought that having all the people making their way toward the sword weilding general was about the coolest thing he'd seen all day. He heard a noise, or at least thought he did. He listened harder, whilst smashing a few 'bots, but then realised that he hadn't heard a noise; a noise had stopped. That purring was gone, and worried for the tiger's safty, looked for it. He saw the orange and black mauler was now being much more sedate in its ripping apart of robots. Hmm. Maybe he decided to take it a little more seriously.
Shrugging, he looked for another robot, and one whacked him in the back. With a crowbar. Letting out a very loud, very angry, blood curdling roar, he spun to face the robot, and noticed just before smashing into many small pieces that the crowbar had a lot of blood on it. He could feel blood rolling down his back, but it didn't hurt nearly as much as it should. Cool. Letting out another impressive roar, Ted flung himself over Michael, and landed amongst a gang of them that seemed to think that if there were more, then Michael would be less invincible. With Tristan right next to the swordsman, Ted wasn't about to let them try. Hang on, where'd Michael get a sword from?
Before he'd finished that thought, he was already amongst the robots, and causing serious damage. He ripped them apart, and there were dismembered bits of robot flying every which way and when. Even if I don't become an X-man, this is so worth it!
Tristan was suprised when Ted had lifted him a brought him over to Sheild. "Thanks pal," He said giving him a pat on the back as Ted put him down. "I'll be fine a lil pain never killed nobody." He clapped his hands together and the grew to there rock form. He punched the head off the nearest robot. Tristan hoopped that his fist would stay up long enough for him to be useful. He grabbed the now useless body of the robot and whipped it into an oncoming group. Inhanced strength sure was helpful. He looked over his shoulder to Sheild. "What now Cap',"

Looked like he’d been chosen as the leader of this merry band so Michael set about thinking where to go from here. While they could all form a merry circle in the middle of the street that would leave them exposed to attack on all sides, better to get a wall at their backs at least.
Looking around he spotted a promising target as he cut down another robot. There was a building with no windows at the front and a small alcove that wounded or tired people could rest in while the rest kept the robots back. Deciding that would be the best place to hold off the seeming never ending tide he decapitated another robot before making his way towards it.
“Ok gang,” he said, calm as always due to there being no danger to him, “follow me. We’re gonna head for that alcove over there and hold out. If you’re tired or injured pull back into the alcove and rest, the others will cover you.”
Hacking with the sword he set off towards his chosen spot, making sure not to range on ahead of others incase they needed help. He looked over at Ted, who seemed to be gathering various injuries. “Ted, watch yourself. You’re getting hit a lot. Stick with the group so you don’t get nailed in the back again.”
Now that they were all bunched together, taking these things on was rather easy. Nail took up a position near the edge of the group, and had been forming small walls and shields of spiky diamond to push back and take out bots. It seemed to be working, but Nail really was getting pretty tired, and it was getting harder and harder to fight them off.
Shield however seemed to have the right idea. He pointed out the alcove, which would serve to funnel the robots and make it easier to hold them off... Nail believed he could improve on that plan... but he wasn't sure he cold pull it off.
Running ahead of everyone else in the groupe, Nail ran to the entrance and looked up, trying to judge the distance between the two walls that formed the entrance. Making a rather agile leap, he managed to reach nearly four feet up the wall, kick off, and possition himself in mid-air above the entrence... he had a split second to get it right.
"Come one!"
Nails arms where spread wide, not long enough to tough the edges of the entrance to the alcove, ut seperated by only a a three foot gape on each side. His face contorted in concentration, as he sho out his exoskeliton to attach the walls. As his diamond arm extentions him, Nail fultered, and he thought he had missed. He was possitive he was about to hit the ground. Somehow he had been able to meld the diamond to the walls however, and he was suspended above the entrance. He wasn't sure if he had done it on purpose, or if his body had reacted for him as a reaction to keep him from falling. Either way, he had accomplished what he wanted.
Concentrating, he let his exoskeliton menifest along the walls of the entrence, like an archway of diamond. He wasn't confortable with his feet dangling in the entrence way, to he coated and melded them together, and effectively made them into a central beem which reached the ground and melded to it for support.
Nail had effectively become their security door... he would let them get in, and spike the crap out of the bots as they tried to funnel in...or he would try too.
"Alright guys I've got you... huh?"
Nail tried to orm his spikes from the entry way, but nothing was happening... and he felt strange... almost stretched thin. Two more things also hit him. All of a sudden, he felt extremely hungry, and short of breath. This only added to the fact that he was now a sitting duck.
"Uh... hold them off for now guys... I think a need a second..."
Nails head above the archway was really the only thing that could move and he tried to twist it aroud to see behind him to make sure everyone was ok, but it was quite hopeless. He figured he be fine, but then he noticed some of the robots holding their crowbars above their head, taking aim.

(sorry bout the two long posts... I'm in a kind of writing mood i geuss)
As much fun as Naomi was having, she had to admit she was getting pretty tired of this. For the most part, watching a bunch of bots flying through the air a dropping like rocks is pretty funny, but not so much when they keep trying to hit you with baseball bats for ten minutes strait.
So when mr. inviscible suggested a tacticle retreat, Naomi was in full suport. She made he way slowely there, trying to stay mostly in the center of the group, that way she could help disarm apponents and help send them flying into each other at high density.
On her way into the alcove, she realised she could do something alot easier than simply crushing one with a crow bar. Sleeping her hand along a group if bots who were closing in, she increased the ensity of only their heads, which effectively, made them fall to the ground, and even made their heads fall off their shoulders. She look these severed bot head, and decreased their density so that they where lighter than air and floated up to the cieling. When he bots becan to storm the entrance of the alcove, she made sure to increase thier density back to about the same as lead, which effectively took out one wave of incoming bots.
Naomi, slightely star struck by mr. sparlies gate rushed inside and got situated where she could see everything happening.

Daisake Nodded At ted as he gave him a hand. He stood up quickly going for another target. this time. he ran toward a group of bots taking about 4 heads off in a single shot. he twisted around kicking another in its mid section. he twisted around again to hit another comeing toward him.
In the mis of fighting he witnessed a large tiger Aidding in the battle. "Thats Impressive!" he said punching another one through its head. One hit him from behind with a Crowbar. Daisake felt something hit his back and bent. " Eh " he fliched a little turnign around to catched the incomeing bar again. He snatched it from the bot and used it against him taking its head off. As he did he saw another need some help As they called for it. Daisake, in a instant super speeds his way toward nails, he punched a few in his path as every bot around him moved slowly he made his way toward the Aclove "Yaahh" he yeld hitting another into the ground He jumps up into the air as high as he could looking down upon the archway.
This Excersise is helping me learn about my abilitys in a very good way even though i might not make it, i still can learn...As much as i want to be a x-man, At least they give me the chance to prove i can be one of them.... He darts his way down toward the bots over nails head and tackles them to the ground outside the alcove.
In Nails eyes it would be a blur, but daisake hope he had helped him in a away. On the other hand Daisake may be invincible..but only to a certain point he could take so much. He got up and ran into the alcove where the others were, hitting one more bot feets aways

Ted nodded to Michael, but because he could barely feel the pain he saw no real danger to himself. Hell, his back had already stopped bleeding. Though Michael did have the right idea, and lead the team toward a building with an alcove. Ted held off a group of 'bots as some guy leapt up the wall. Then he formed some kind of archway, using himself as a central beam. Way cool. The guy's next statement then dissolved the feel of coolness, and Ted saw the crowbar weilding robots bearing down on him. Ted made a very impressive leap, going over 3 metres high and above multiple robots, and landed in amongst the ones getting all too close to the shiny man. In landing, he floored four of them, and crouched low whilst spinning around, hitting the legs of several others and allowing them to get aquainted with the floor. Past experience had caused him to give up talking, but he realised that there were still a fair few mutants out there who might not know about Michael's plan.
In an attempt to change this, he let out the loudest roar he could manage, in an attempt to get their attention, he ran over to Michael and tried to pick him up. Providing Michael didn't go all immoveable on him, he'd lift him up high enough to see across the battlefield, and call all muties to him.

(OOC: Hey! Mr Invincible is my name )
IC: Michael watched as Sentinel formed a snazzy archway only for something to go wrong and he got stuck. Fortunately Ted and another guy got over there and cleared the bots away form him. Michael hacked and slashed his way closer when suddenly Ted lifted him up. Confused at first he suddenly realised that Ted was offering him a better view.
Looking around he saw almost everyone making their way to the alcove. Once there they could work on some sort of plan. It was clear that though they were a powerful bunch some were tiring and they needed to regroup and rethink. Stabbing a robot that was trying to get Ted he decided that he was needed over by Sentinel. People could make their own way over to the alcove, but if he was there he could start defending.
“Ted,” he called down to his furry podium, “can you throw me over to Sentinel?” He had nothing to fear about a hard landing, and he reckoned that this was the fastest way to travel. Slashing another robot he readied for his flight.

Badly organized, Slate decided. The right idea, but very badly organized.
He saw the crystal-wielding man's trouble. But he did not rush in to help him. That seemed to be the pattern of things; one person got in trouble, and everyone in sight rushed to help that individual, allowing the robots to flood the scene in their wake. Quite ineffective. Gathering everyone together was a start--Slate respected the invincible teen for it. It was nothing he could not have done if he had been able to speak, but the point remained: it had been a good idea.
Now, they needed more good ideas. They had a fortified fortress. What they needed was a steady front line to defend it. None of this rushing-to-aid business; there would be no sacrifice of the group for the individual on Slate's watch.
The tiger set himself up just outside of the alleyway's mouth. As people streamed past into the shelter the invincible teen had called them to, he began encouraging individuals to join him on the front line. Those who were injured, tired, or generally useless, he allowed to stream past him. Those who were not...
There was more than one shirt which would have tiger-tooth sized holes in it, when the day was done. He couldn't speak, so he began to herd. As much as possible, he tried to organize the people streaming in to defensive positions.
He spared a look back at the invincible boy. You called them to you. Give them orders, he willed. For the first time, Slate did not find silence comforting--it was merely frustrating.

Ted grinned. Well, he thought it was a grin. Anyone looking would probably have thought it something much more threatening, but a grin it was, with good reason. He grabbed Michael by the collar of his shirt in one paw, and by the bottem of his shirt in the other, and began to spin to pick up momentum. He rleased when he judged that it was going to send the fearless lad in the right direction, and thankfully, it did. He then decided to join the gathering of mutants in the alcove, and began to smash his way through.
He arrived at the alcove, and took up a defensive position with the tiger. He grinned, but was panting. He was seriously out of breath, and that last jaunt through the sea of robots had taken it out of him. His attacks were getting sluggish, and more and more hits were getting past. e struggled to fight the bots, but was starting to lose. He had tried too hard too early, and was now exhausted, and having the snot beaten out of him. Yay.
Tristan muscled his way threw the crowd, he sat inside the alcove and ripped of his shirt looking at the dressing he had from his car accident it was starting to turn red, "Great, blood." He ignored it and went to the front of the alcove where the others we're fighting. He grabbed a bot's torso and crushed it throwin him back into the crowd.
[[ooc:geez u guys go to fast we need to make an order so people don't get lost]]
Deja quickly, noticed, everyone coming together. That was awesome in her eyes. She quickly noticed, two bots , come after her. Right now she couldnt concentrate, what was she suppose to do. All of a sudden she just used her instinct. She quickly twisted, one of the bots arm, then kicked it in the abdomen, breaking it. She then noticed, another one punch her down hard. She then slowly got up, noticing it come to her. She then started wondering, what to do, she wasnt just a little girl. She was a mutant, and right now, she needed to prove it. Deja quickly closed her eyes, meditating when the bot went for a punch straight to her face. She quickly grabbed its arm, delievering a judo flip, crushing it to the wall. "How do you like that!" Deja quickly noticed, her guns, comeback to her. "I missed you guys." Deja then started charging, like a madwoman, shooting all of the bots she could fine. She eventually found Deathstar. "Hey, I'm thinking, these bots coming over here at us, sure need a beating, interested?!" Deja quickly did a fierce kick to one of them, glancing at everyone. "Wow, this feels right!" Deja not even caring anyone heard her.

A quick spin and Michael was flying. Now this was the way to travel he though as he collided with two robots, smashed them into the wall and collapsed in a heap. Picking himself up he quickly got alongside the tiger and Ted and began laying about with his sword. While the tiger was fine, Ted wasn’t looking so good. He wouldn’t last much longer, he needed to pull back into the alcove.
“Ted!” he shouted to get the beast’s attention, “Get back. You’re hurt and tiered and only going to get in the way.” The alcove was wide enough to need three defenders. He and tiger made up two, so he needed a third. Looking around he soon found someone.
“Raven Fire!” he called out, “Help me and tiger hold of the robots. Everyone else into the alcove and assess the injured. Then see if you can get Sentinel down.” He hacked down a robot and saw one running to get past them. Holding out his arm he focused. The robot hit it and was stopped in its tracks. Before it could recover Michael stabbed it in the side. Raven Fire needed to get here soon, the alcove was too wide for just him and the tiger to defend.
