Iris tensed as Kesuk lost his cool and the weather went wild. Her throat went dry and her eyes narrowed to slits. In response the perpetually growing blob mixed of water and mud quivered and formed a wall. It would have been painful, if it even worked, but she was ready to at least try and defuse the electricity. Fortunately both the sim ended and Kesuk seemed to regain control. She dropped the water shield as soon as he returned to solid ground, not realizing at first how hard she was breathing, and only vaugely aware that Jason had been shouting at Kesuk. She deactivated her power, and her hair and eyes returned to normal. “Deja vu,” she muttered aloud, shaking her head slightly to clear her thoughts. She ran a shaky hand through her now blonde hair. <“And that was only fifteen minutes?”>
"Wow! That was..."
Again, Iris’ heart nearly stopped as the catgirl collapsed. “Nika! Nika!” She followed as Jason moved her to a table. She touched the side of the girl’s neck, and felt a strong pulse. Thinking she just fainted, Iris fanned her with her hand. She briefly considered dousing her with cold water, but just as quickly dismissed the thought. The last thing she needed was a rude awakening.
Although Jason’s shouting at Kesuk could easily be placed in that category. Normally she would have shrugged it off, and let them handle things on their own. But she tired, both physically and mentally, and sore, and their fighting wasn’t doing anything to help Nika. Finally, she’d had it.
“Would you two knock it off?!” she shouted at both of them. “This is more important than your stupid jealousy!” she glared at Kesuk, “or your oversized ego!” she turned on Jason. “You both want to help? Shut the hell up!”
The outburst was definitely out of character, especially in the presence of people she hardly knew, but Iris was in no mood to be nice. “Crystal? Where’s the infimary?”
“Second floor. On the other side of the bedrooms.” Iris looked up in surprise to see Crystal hovering nearby. The holo nodded toward Nika. “Her vitals are steady. You should be able to get her there fast enough.”
Iris nodded. “Thanks Crystal.” She picked Nika up carefully; the catgirl was heavier than she expected, but still light enough for Iris to handle, especially with her own adrenaline still pumping. She nodded at Jason, seeing that he was bleeding. She felt slightly guilty for yelling at him. “Come on. Follow me.”

Kesuk pulled him self to his knees, but then suddenly Nika had collapsed and fainted on the floor. Kesuk tried to run to her side and help her but he buckled at his knees. Then Jason started to yell at him about whatever and Kesuk just ignored him. Kesuk he was going to yell at him also because there He was getting under Kesuk‘s skin on purpose, but then Iris intervened and yelled at the both of them and Kesuk was going to object but looked back at Nika and wanted to aid her as soon as possible.
Kesuk got up and walked to the table where Jason had put Nika. He looked at her and with the back side of his hand , ran his hand down the side of her cheek, and whispering “sorry”. Then Iris asked Crystal where the infirmary was at and Crystal told Iris. Iris meanwhile checked Nika’s vitals and then picked her up.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to get her?” Kesuk asked Iris. Howver Iris shook her head and gave a look of determination and motivation. Kesuk respected her and made his way to the infirmary as well to be by Nika’s side.
