The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Ok, ok, ok...just hold on a second," Tricity stood up and saw that many people were now gathered around to see what was going on. She looked to Darius and Deathstar who she hadn't known very long, but hoped she could trust with such a job. "Johnathon is at the security station. Can you two help him gather the students in the living room and make sure you do a headcount. He'll know how many there are in the mansion at the time. Then, you three will separate the students and head back here to the Danger Room and the War Room. Both have hidden rooms under the floors to get everyone in to, ok?"
Tricity then picked up her radio and called to Johanthon. "There's a possible intruder. Get to the living room. Darius and Deathstar are going to help you with collection." She clipped her radio and told the Doc Prof to get any students who were in the infirmary. After grabbing Zeke by the arm, she pulled him back into the Danger Room and physically sat him down in the chair. "X-Men, we have an issue. I'm shutting the training exercise down for a moment. Get up here quickly!" she said into the god mic. Tricity pushed a few of the buttons in the Danger Room, a place where it could control all kinds of things throughout the mansion. She closed and locked the front gate and opened both hidden rooms in the Danger and War Rooms. "All residents of the mansion, please report to the living room immediately, no exceptions!"
After that was said, Tricity looked over at Zeke. "Did you see who hit you at all?"
(OOC: Deathstar and Darius, you guys can stay together and post in the living room or other places about getting all the kids together and then moving to the Danger and War Rooms. There's a thread already created about evacuation in the Danger Room so post there. These rooms are fully furnished and have food supplies and things of the sort.)

Zeke's world was a little foggy at the moment, but he seemed to be okay. No immediate damage had been caused by the blow, and even Zeke was unsure why whoever had hit him, hit him. He watched as Tricity became alarmed and went off to set off the security steps. That's okay, I got you covered on that end...
He brought his phone near his face and spoke with it, "Felixar, are the measures of the Influxor in place?"
"Yes sir."
"Excellent."
When Tricity returned he tried to answer her question, "Well, no I didn't exactly see him, but I have something that did... in a way. I'm a technology guy... but I think I may have already told you that. I do engineering and security and things like that." He sighed and looked off into the distance, and then turned back to Tricity. He didn't want to tell her, but he did anyway. "I have a device here in the school that keeps this place secure. I happen to know that whoever hit me hasn't left the building yet. In fact, I'm sure they are still around here somewhere.
He walked to the wall and leaned up against it, holding his head to try and deafen the pain that was throbbing there. "I have an exact X-Ray image of who hit me. A three-dimensional one. And in fact, if I get the equipment, I can figure out exactly where he is in this building, assuming there is only one of them, and there aren't many mutants playing hide and seek these days."
He scratched his head a little and then took another breath, "This is all assuming he doesn't know I have the Influxor. If he does, he'll integrate into the school, and look like any other student. Then it will be harder. Then again, if everyone goes to the living room like you told them too... it should be a piece of cake to find him. I can get on it right away if you want..."
"Well, last time this happend, Orion and I," but he wasn't able to get his sentence out when Tricity's voice came over the loudspeaker. "Intruder? What the hell is going on?" The city simulation slowly began fading away and he wiped the sweat from his forehed. He nodded his head to Raphael to follow as he started taking the stairs up to the observation room three at a time. He quickly pushed open the door and hurried over to Tricity. "What's going on??"
Fade's eyes were on the sentinels as they approached, all until an announcement was made and the war room went back to normal. She saw the streets of New York dissolving and scuttled down the wall, jumping from a few feet high before the building dissolved as well. She landed near Raph and Wire and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Another intruder?" She asked, remembering what had happened during both the Whitmore and the Fusionist battles.
With that she followed the other X-Men up to the control room to find out what was going on. Just as she opened her mouth, Wire spoke up and she was silenced. However, she spoke right after him. "Is the intruder dangerous?"
Raphael nodded as Wire began an explanation of what had been done in the past to handle sentinels when he was interrupted by Tricity. He shook his head while listening to the message, and immediately took off after Wire and Fade as they headed for the control room. He was slightly worried at the intrusion, though from the sound of the message, it was a singular intruder.
“Dunno…” he answered Fade, then fell silent as they entered the control room. Both Fade and Wire had already asked the questions on his mind, though he was quiet for only a moment. “Is it human? I’ve been getting better about using my ‘life-sight’, could help find ‘im if he’s the stealthy type.”

(OOC: I know technically I'm not supposed to be here, so let me know if I need to pull this post. Thanks.
Rayne never had cared much for crowds, one reason why she prefered the mountain towns to the cities. Most of this crowd looked to be teens and younger, and the few adults she did see were preoccupied. She noticed the set of stairs that led to the observation room off to one side. Maybe someone was up there, and could tell her more about what was happening.
"Be back in a sec," she told Iara, and made her way to the stairs.
The observation room seemed just as crowded as the room below, even though there were far less people. She recognized Ms. Tricity and Raphael. She stood on the edge of the group, torn between not wanting to intrude and wanting to find out what was happening.
"No, you aren't going by yourself." Tricity said to Zeke. She turned to the rest of the X-Men. "I have to get downstairs to watch over the evacuation. You all can begin searching the mansion for this intruder...oh and make sure everyone has gotten downstairs in the process of your search. Use your radios to keep in contact with one another and myself in case you need back up. If you find the person, don't go at him alone. Wait for help...seriously. Someone tag along with Zeke."
Tricity began pushing her way between people who were now starting to gather in the observation room. She clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. "LISTEN UP!! All residents need to follow me into the evacuation room downstairs right now. No exceptions!" She nodded to the X-Men behind everyone to have them get moving as she beckoned everyone else forward to head below.
Dominic sighed and crossed his arms, wondering how anyone was able to get in so unnoticed. He nudged Zeke and nodded toward the door. "Come on, man. I'll go with you. What's this guy look like anyway? Is he a mutant?" He gave a slight mocking salute to the other X-Men as he made his way for the door with Zeke. "See you on the flip side, guys."

Zeke nodded in agreement when Tricity suggested that someone go with him. He was relieved when Wire stepped up and offered to help him look for the intruder. "Sure thing. I'd welcome the help."
He started down the hall and reached the corner, and threw his head around to see if anyone was there. The coast was clear. He turned back to Wire and responded, "I don't know what he looks like, but I'm fairly certain I'll know him when I see him... or her. I've got a suspiscion or two... but we'll have to wait and see. Probably a mutant, but then again... mutants don't usually resort to hitting each other with blunt objects. But it's best that we prepare as if he or she is a mutant."
He kept walking down the hall and glanced back one final time to see the children and mansion occupants rushing for cover in the Danger Room. He would find this intruder, and he would deal with him. "Let's go Wire... I'm gonna head to my office and check the Influxor... if you're gonna come."
Wire kept a sharp eye out as they made their way down the hallway. He turned the volume of his radio on low and listened as Glare explained whoever this intruder may be. 'He doesn't even know who this person is. Hmm...maybe we should be more careful who we let in nowadays. Can't have random people trying to hurt the residents here, especially the kids, for just one person,' he thought, as they turned another corner.
He touched his fingertips together and pulled them apart once more, revealing the silvery threads. Thankfully the hallways were quiet since everyone had moved into the Danger and War Rooms. He hoped this wasn't going to turn out badly. At Glare's mention of the Influxor, Dominic raised an eyebrow in confusion and shrugged his shoulder. 'Office??' "Lead the way..."
Fade merely listened to Tricity, she did not ask questions, it was not the right time, the intruder needed to be found before the questions could be brought forth. So she waited to find him, or her, or it. Her eyes followed Zeke and Wire as they left the room before she turned to the other X-Men, "I'm gonna see if anyone got left behind."
Just a heads up, she wasn't going to ask for assistance. No, she could do this herself, she would use her power to keep hidden from the intruder. Even though having Raph's company would make her feel more secure, she decided to leave it up to him whether or not he would come. After all, she had been nominated as 'the scout' so why not go 'scouting'? So, her figure slowly dissolved into nothing, but she stayed there, just not in sight.
Raphael nodded, even though his question had not been answered. He, however, had been given a task: find the intruder and radio it in, and not do it alone. He turned towards Fade and saw she had already vanished. He closed his eyes and gave his head a small shake and looked at the only life essence without a physical body to back it up.
“Let’s go Jenny,” he said, moving past her and on out of the Danger Room. He did not know where the other X-Men were heading, but at the same time had not heard anyone mention heading up to the dormitory wings. “Let’s go check upstairs, can make sure no one’s still in their rooms at the same time.” He did not wait for her to respond before heading up the nearest stairwell.
Fade had forgotten about his little can-see-her-when-she's-invisible trick but she followed him out of the room and towards...well, where ever it was he was headed to. Since Raph was a strong guy and had high healing abilities, she found that he was fine walking around completely visible, but she did not want the intruder to find them and attack, it would be better if they were both invisible.
First, she climbed on the wall and peered around the corner, nothing, she then dropped from the wall and grabbed Raph's hand. In an instant, Raph's body dissentigrated into nothing and the both of them were invisible.
"Hope you don't mind, it's so we can see him and radio in and while we wait for back up we can follow him and stay under cover. That is, if he doesn't have any life aura vision like you, or hightened senses." She spoke to his invisible body, knowing that even though she could not see him, he could see her.
