The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

It was the first of July...he'd been stalking a suspect in a kidnapping case. Children were disappearing and they weren't popping back up. they were gone and staying that way. Koga was trying to convince himself he wouldn't kill the man. For whatever reason he had been almost hungry for violence. It was disturbing and he reluctantly been talking to the mansion counselor about it. there were those he could confide in...but he could speak freely and not worry about seeing the questions in his friends eyes this way.
He skimmed along the rooftop following the man with relative ease. The tricky part came when the query crossed the street.Koga propelled himself down the wall and changed his flesh tone to a chocolate hue that complimented his features. at a glance in a reflection of a window and he would guess he was a specific islander... but enough of admiring his abilities. he stalked his prey further in.
The therapist said that it might be a natural urge, due to the animal instincts that could possibly come along with Koga's particular mutation. so what, that made it ok?
The therapist said that it wasn't always easy to be a mutant, some had to fight to resist their powers and influences, not everyone could simply embrace....as if the idiot had to tell him.
His cold blood seemed to be boiling as they young man mad his way back up another wall. initially startled new yorkers played it off, trying hard to keep up the , "we've seen it all attitude" of new york city.
He glared at the balding man as he weaved through the crowds, and he realized that he wasn't just following the man, but following a man following a pair of preteen girls. one ran into a shop while the other waited and listed to a street performer.
The balding man pulled out a piece of paper and started talking to the young woman....she seemed hesitant, but she was falling for the one they teach you in the don't talk to stranger videos...heck the guy even looked like he was from the video. Koga hurried down the street and didn't loose a step as the pair called out a fake pets name....yeah, your lost cat lasted two seconds on this street pal.
Koga gritted his teeth as the man and the girl headed into a very nice building Koga sprinted down the wall and around the corner, catching the heavy door just before it closed and brushing off the door man, know wasn't the time to test his patience...if these guys watched that freak bring in random kids everyday, they were just as bad. His eyes sprang to an elevator door across the lobby.
Koga’s noir orbs flicked around the lobby and his plump bottom lip pulled up as he smirked, the security guy was trying to figure out if he was in the mood to confront a mutant, it didn’t look like it so Koga sprinted over to the elevator and watched the light as it went to the twelfth floor. He turned around and ran out of the lobby commenting to the guard as he exited. “You made the right choice, I’m leaving now.” The security guard nodded dumbly, as if he was relieved that the young man didn’t want trouble.
Koga was climbing the building only moments after making it outside again. His arms and legs propelled him forward like a dog after a bone. He came to the right floor and started circling the windows peering in to the lofts and apartments as he went. Hurrying along as he came across those that were at diner or watching tv. Then with a stroke of good luck he came upon a room where a preteen girl was weeping, On the floor of a bed room. Koga wasn’t in the mood for hesitation but he didn’t want to hurt the girl either. He quickly changed his currently slate brick skin to his regular tone. And tapped the window lightly. The girl looked up startled, but when he waved her over she didn’t hesitate.
“get in the clossset ssso I can break thisss window and come in. I am going to get you out of here, but I want to deal with the man firssst. Ok?” She nodded and headed for the closet, she was about to go in to the closet when she shrieked at the top of her lungs…the closet was already occupied. By a group of youths of various age, they stood and looked at her tilting their heads.
Koga took a deep breath and the placed both hands above the window and kicked both feet off the lower ledge He then proceeded to kick as hard as he could into and threw the window. As the glass shattered into thousands of bits and shards he flung himself across the room and onto the bed. He quickly ran up the wall and clung to the ceiling waiting for the man to come back.
“Koga clung to the ceiling waiting to annihilate the child thief, but what happened next was not in the plan. Another group of children ran in to the room. The group held plastic bats, swords and other medieval toys, it would have been laughable to be attacked by these children in any other circumstance, but the look in their eyes was what unnerved him, they looked sad and distraught but their actions didn’t match their expression. Koga's eyes whipped to the living room where he saw the balding man.
~~“Teach him a lesson children, Teach him that is bad to disobey Master. Attack him!” The children literally leaped at the command jumping up and down swinging their weapons as hard as they could at the strange boy on the ceiling. Not as single one looked like they were enjoying the task, they all wore the expression of a child too harshly punished. Koga scrambled out of the room and toward the man.
Koga's eyes locked with the man and just as he began to launch from the ceiling to attack, the man spoke with a calm collected and sinister certainty.
His eyes locking onto Koga’s as he leaped from the ceiling at him. ~~“got you, pet. Sleep.”
Koga’s body toppled toward the man his body going leap in mid air as he dropped off of the ceiling. He laid sleeping soundly as the children rushed in to attack the lizard.
~~ “stop now children, that’s enough.” The group halted in unison. ‘ clean up the glass and go to your rooms. All of the children but the girl fresh off the street immediately went to the first room and cleaned every bit of glass Koga had broke and then proceeded to go and stand in the various closets with in the house.
The new girl held up a paper and spoke. “I cried, opened the closet and screamed just as you said. we found the one looking for you Master.” she held up the paper that Koga originally thought was a lost pet, The picture was that of a young colorful Asian mutant climbing a wall. They had indeed found what they were looking for.
