The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Wow, you're good at that," Raven stated in shere delightment. "Can you do that with anything on TV?" Most people couldn't do imitations like that and it was only after a slight delay that Raven realized that it probably had something to do with her power. It had to have been one of the most interesting powers she had seen yet, oh the uses one could have with it. Especially if it wasn't restricted to just television voices.
"I have my id if you have money to pay," Raven whispered back. She wasn't entirely certain why they were being stealthy about it, but it was a fun game so she decided to play along. Games, even unexpected ones, were always fun.
Faye beamed at the compliment; it was the first time anyone had thought what she could do was interesting. “I can repeat anything I hear people say, just words though no random sounds like crying. Its proper useful for karaoke.
>>>"I have my id if you have money to pay," whispered Raven, “kay lets go up to the till and try our luck
The pair of them slowly approached the till, The old man behind the counter was sipping something from one of those thermos cups and reading a newspaper. Clearing her throat Faye popped the basket full of clinking bottles on the counter. “Excuse me, can you ring these up for us?”
“Got any i.d?" the man asked from behind his paper, not even looking at them.
Shrugging Faye took the money out of her pocket and elbowed Raven.

"Anything?" Raven asked, her mind whirring as she considered the possibilities. Crows made for lovely distractions but someone who could perfectly mirror the voices of others, well, the possibilites were endless. "I hope you make good use of that." She certainly knew that she would had she that sort of power.
Raven confidently walked up to till beside Faye. After all, it wasn't as if she had anything to worry about, was it? even if she had been consciously aware of the fact that it was illigal for minors to buy alcohol, or the fact that Faye was a minor, for that matter, she herself was not. Not that any of that even crossed her mind, it simply wasn't important.
"I have my id right here," Raven announced, taking it out of her pocket in a flourish. Because she knew it'd be needed she had been careful to put it some place she could get to it instantly. "Thank you so much," Raven spoke as the man srutinized her id and then passed it back with a nod. She grinned at Faye as money was exchanged and the transaction was completed.
The little bell above the door rang as Raven and Faye walked out of the shop and back into the cold winter wind, plastic bags filled with glass bottles clinking as they made their way back towards The Mansion. Faye felt the need to show off about her mutation and spent most of the trip repeating back TV catch phrases, Ravens words back to her and people’s secrets that she had overheard when she was hanging around the mansion.
“Here..” Faye added writing something down on a piece of paper “…this is my cell, email, twitter and FB stuff. Totally hit me up sometime if you want to go dancing in foam or whatever and thanks for helping with the Winter Formal. I’ll see you there yeah?”.
