She realised she shouldn’t have asked that question when Maya fell off the desk sputtering about how wrong that idea and giving Faye the evils.

Wait what? Don’t swing which way? Who doesn’t like boys?….. The little cogs in her brain went clickity clack as she pieced it together. Oh she doesn’t like-like boys. Faye blushed and took special interest in her sneakers maybe time for new shoes soon? Yeah new shoes fix everything.

She listened as Mr Johnson explained that the sessions where to keep certain students out of trouble, was she in trouble? That would be bad she rubbed her thumb across her bottom lip, a nervous reflex she’d yet to shake.

Maya asked if Faye was coming to the DR or not?

Faye looked up from her feet and asked another question Just stop talking wailed her brain your making it worse for us.

"Ummm, is the midnight session at midnight or is that just a name? And what’s a DR and how do I get there? "

"Yeah, he's our fairy godfather." Maya nodded, still holding up he good girl image, biting back a smirk as she took more notes. There wasn't really anything to take notes about, so she just drew tiny flowers and stars on the form.

"No he is not. He is very very hard to fool." Maya recited as if she was reading from a book. It was actually true; Sam had caught her before, almost a year ago, and it was one of the best things that had happened to her in the Mansion. Now she was an X trainee. Which was, let's face it, all kinds of awesome.
