The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

And Daria reappeared in the room next to Mike's bed. She had went to smoke a cigarette and take a shower.
She had intentions of going to the training room, she was still a bit upset over being left behind in the mansion and wanted to blow off some steam.
"I thought you'd be asleep." She smiled at Tricity.
She looked over at the baby, peering between the bodies of the doctor and the nurses. She wondered if the baby was a mutant but decided she'd find out soon enough.
She took a seat between both cots, running a hand through Mike's hair.
"It's scary...seeing him so...still..." she whispered.
"I hate seeing him like this. I'm going to have Xavier come by and see what he can do..." she whispered so the whole of the infirmary wouldn't hear the conversation. "It's a terribly helpless feeling." Tricity sat up in the bed when the Doc crossed the other side of the room. She couldn't sit still. After making sure the Doc was occupied, she pulled the blankets off of her legs and swung over the edge of the bed, taking a few weebly steps. "Good Lord... Ugh, sooo weary. How are you holding up?"

Daria absent mindedly went to stand a bit closer to Tricity in order to catch her, or to be there if she wanted to lean on her shoulder.
"I didn't just squeeze a seven pound baby out of me so...I'm good." she laughed nervously.
Then, after a solemn look at Mike, she shook her head. "I could be better though."
It was obvious that Daria wasn't herself. Her tail was to the floor, her ears low to her head. She looked tired and thin and pale, her braids weren't done and they were in a sloppy pony tail. And Tricity must've heard or seen her smoking by then. She was nervous and twitched several times.
Tricity interwined her arm with Daria's to steady herself, putting her head on her teammate's shoulder with a smile. "We'll figure this out..." she started taking a few quiet steps toward the basket at the end of Tricity's bed. As they continued walking, Tricity could smell the cigarette smoke. 'Oh yea, Wire told me about her starting to smoke,' she thought. Now wasn't the time to talk about the new habit though. There were better times than now. As they approached the basket, Tricity's face lit up. "It's a boy!!" she shouted, giving away the fact she wasn't in bed any longer. She released her arm from Daria and wrapped the baby up in the blankets, picking him up. "Oh wow," she whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
"Delilah! You should be lying down and even better, sleeping!" the Doc Prof had hurried back over and took Tricity by the shoulders. "You always make things complicated."
"It keeps you young, Doc," she joked. Who knew how old the man was? His mutation kept him alive though most humans would've died of old age years and years ago. She passed the baby to the Doc as she climbed in bed. It took a few agonizing moments, but she got comfortable and retrieved her baby once more from the Doc Prof. "Look at my son," she said with a smile, keeping her eyes trained on the baby.
Tricity beamed some more at Daria's words. "I haven't really thought of a name yet. I've been thinking of a few, but was hoping to speak with Orion." Damn, she hated saying his name out loud. It pulled on her heartstrings. When Daria asked about the baby's mutation, Tricity's attention went straight to him.
"Well, it's too early to tell right now. I suppose we will just have to wait in time. Seeing as both of the boy's parents had an energy type of mutation, I would expect him to have one hell of a mutation," he answered, hovering his hands above the baby's chest to see if he could read anything more. "In time."
The Doc Prof walked off once more, wagging a finger at her to stay in bed. Tricity turned to Daria. "What do you think about Tristan, Dominic, and Xander? I know Ri is going to want something in ancient tongue from Egypt or Greek," she said with a slight laugh. "I honestly would like that though. Gives a strong impression..."
As Nika walked through the hallways she picked up the sounds of people talking. From what she could hear they were talking about a baby. That must be where Miss Tipper is with her baby. The curious side of Nika got the better of her and she headed in the direction of the voices.
She saw a sign indicating the infirmary and she smiled like a little kid spotting a hidden present. She peaked her head to the small glass window in the door and looked around inside. She could see a couple people in there talking, and both were talking about baby names. So who is Miss Tipper then? she thought to herself.
The Doc Prof nodded his head toward the door, indicating to Tricity that they weren't alone. No doubt people were wondering how the birth went. The Doc Prof opened the door and ushered Deathstar and an unknown girl in the infirmary. Tricity waved them over and immediately introduced herself to the guest. "Hi, I'm Tricity. Are you a new student?"
Nika stepped inside the room along with another girl who she could only assume was another student. She stepped closer to the two ladies who she had been listening to. When Tricity introduced herself Nika immediatley flicked her tail around and grabbed the end and began playing with it nervously. When Tricity finished her introduction Nika then looked to the other woman. She tilted her head in a curious manner as it seemed she wasn't the only one with cat features.
The young catgirl looked back to Tricity and cleared her throat. "Yes Ma'am I just got here a few minutes ago. Dominic let me in."
"It's nice to meet you Nika. This is Daria to my right and the girl you came in with is Deathstar if you haven't met already," she said, noticing the familiar cat features. Tricity also noticed Nika seemed a little nervous, which was normal for all new residents. "So, where are you from?"
"It's nice to meet you you all." Nika gave a general look to everyone in the room as she spoke. Still playing with her tail Nika replied back. "I'm from Boston Miss Tipper. At least that's where I've been told I'm from." Her eyes still had a very nervous look.
"Ah, Boston is a great place. I have family out there," she answered in reply, not wanting to pry into the girl's past. It sounded as if things were cloudy enough and making her answer personal questions in front of everyone probably wasn't the best of ideas, being new and all. "Did Dom give you the papers you needed? Have you found a room? I know everything can be a bit overwhelming when you first get here. Just ask if you need anything."
Looking down at the folder and opening it the young girl nodded. "Yes Ma'am he gave me this folder with a bunch of papers in it. I haven't found a room yet though because I heard you talking and I wondered who was speaking." Nika looked Daria over and then Deathstar. Just getting a better idea of who they were. "I was hoping to find a room that is empty. Dominic said there might be one or two open."

"I'll make sure she stays in bed." Daria promised.
"How? You're just as stubborn as she is!" he laughed before he walked out.
"I think they're great." Daria said to Tricity about 'Tristan, Xander, and Dominic' and then after giving Orion some thought she laughed. "The only egyptian name I know is Tut....oh..and Bastet of course but that's for a girl."
She smiled when the new girl came in. "Hello." she listened to the conversation, watching Tricity carefully, in her heart Daria still hoped to help run the school one day, she admired the woman so.
When she heard that Nika needed a room her ears perked up and her tail swished. "well the repairs on the mansion are done in my room." she began. "And I think if I had to choose between my old room and me and Mike's room I'd take Me and Mike's. And My old room has two beds in case Nika gets a roomate later." Her nose twitched and she fell silent, waiting for Tricity to respond.
