The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Hi, yes, uh...my mother recieved some information about this place, she said that I should come here, that it'd be safer than out there." By 'out there', she meant where she was known and heard of. "So I came here and was told to come and see you." She walked up to Tricity and offered her hand for a shake.
Great, that sounded wonderful. What did you mean by 'out there', she probably now thinks I'm some really really shy girl that's afraid of the world and has some kind of mental problem...naw, I shouldn't think of what she's thinking, that's rude, and I probably sounded fine, I just need to take a breath. This girl was one of many thoughts, constantly contradicting herself in her mind as she struggled to make sure that when her thoughts became words, they did not arouse suspicion or any other negative responses.
Tricity took her hand and returned the handshake. "Yes, well you've come to the right place. I'll have to ask you a few questions though. Their manditory for all new residents," she explained, adjusting Millie in her arms again. "Can you tell me everything you know about your mutation and whether it is a danger to anyone else or yourself?"
"Oh, of course, I understand." She paused, thinking of how to best describe her power. "Well, I can manipulate gravitational pulls. So far, I can only make things move up and down, I'm working on manipulate which side of an object I can lessen the pull so that it slides down at an angle, making it so it moves left and right. Sometimes, I can pull things through the ground, but not be very much, not complete emersion, at least."

Millie looked up at Evie, her blue eyes sparkled at she looked at the girl in confusion. She opened her mouth for a second before closing it, as if she was going to say something. THen she repeated the same process as she debated asking the question or not. Finally, she made her decision, opened her mouth, and the innocent little words flowed out of her mouth; "What grabinutional pull?"
Tricity looked down at Millie. "Well, just think of it as she can move things like Daria can move things," she explained and then turned back to the new resident. "So, your mutation isn't harmful to you or anyone else, correct? We have to make sure we can keep everyone safe here including yourself."
"Well, there have been two incidences, but those were completely different. You see, in the first, I was going to be killed, so I used my power against him, he didn't die, he's just in prison, again. The second, I was emotionally unstable and people were yelling at me right in my face, so I pulled a woman that was right in my face down into the ground, but not by very far, she was fine. I don't see those as a threat, they were radical circumstances, right?" She asked, it didn't feel right to just burst out and tell Miss Tipper that her father was a sociopath, however, she did like Miss Tipper and found her to be nice, and if she was to ask who this man was, she would tell, for Evie can't lie, or at least, not easily.
Tricity smiled at the young woman. "Yes, that's fine, Evie. We just ask to make sure we can keep everyone safe because some people's powers are a little out of control. There are some papers you'll need to fill out. Has someone already given them to you?"
"No, I haven't gotten any papers. Do you have them so I can fill them out as soon as possible?" She asked. Paperwork? Oh, of course, my mom filled out paperwork so I could go to school, and I had to fill out paperwork for my job. I'm sure it will be easy. she mentally shrugged and kept her smile as she looked at Miss Tipper.
Tricity nodded with a smile and quickly grabbed the arm of a passer-by. "Damon, can you run to my room and get me a new resident folder, please?" she asked the teenage boy.
"Sure, no problem, Miss Tipper," he said before jogging out of the infirmary.
She turned back to the new tenant and continued their conversation. "So, Evie. Do you have any questions or concerns of any type you would like to discuss?"

"Oh, no, not that I can think of. Thank you. It all seems really great." She smiled before her yellow eyes wandered down to find that she was twidling her thumbs. When she realized that, she tucked her thumbs in her fists to stop them from twidling. "Once I get taht paperwork, I will fill it out as soon as I can."
"Yes, that's fine. Take your time." She began stroking Millie's hair softly and then looked back over at Millie. "Most people forget about the paperwork because they get so excited with their new rooms and the size of this place."
A moment later, the young man Tricity had sent off to fetch the papers came jogging back in in a huff. "Here you are, Miss Tipper."
"Thanks, sweetie," she replied, handing the envelope over. "There you are, Evie. Whenever you can, just drop them off in my room slash office. There's a map inside in case you get a little confused. But if anything, just ask a random kid running through the hallways," she said with a slight laugh.

"Oh, thank you. I won't forget, don't worry. I'll make sure I get this back to you as soon as I can." She smiled as she took the papers. "I guess I will go and get situated. Thank you again for all of your help."
She looked down at the little girl and smiled before waving goodbye by moving her fingers back and forth in a cute manner. Evie then turned on her heels and walked out of the room to go explore and get settled.

Millie looked up at Tricity with a huge smile. "I'm hungry, do you have a cookie?" Her tummy grumbled and began to giggle. "It talking to me." she giggled before she patted it once. "Can you hear it?"
Tricity opened her eyes slowly and looked around, realizing she'd been moved to the infirmary. She picked her head up and saw the Doc Prof next to her, using his mutation. A soft golden glow formed around her body and she was feeling pretty alert. "Is the baby ok?"
"Yes, he's just fine. He's resting and I'm doing a few tests to make sure everything is alright," he replied, his eyes closed in concentration.
Tricity put her head back down and closed her eyes as well, but a sudden thought occured to her. "No one was hurt, right??" she asked frantically. She hated when she couldn't control her powers sometimes.
"Relax, child. Everyone is fine. No one was hurt," he said, soothingly. "Now, lay back and rest."
Tricity complied even though she was dying to see her baby and knew she wouldn't be falling asleep any time doon. She looked around the infirmary and caught a glimpse of Mike still in his coma. Her heart dropped.
