The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Tricity sighed and readjusted herself on the bed, her body was aching pretty badly. "We need to get a head count of every student and every...X-Men to see...who's missing. I've called a friend of mine who will be...tracking down where the facility is located. I trust...she'll find it."
"Delilah, you need to rest," the Doc Prof said as he placed another cool rag on her forehead. "You're clearly not up to anything right now."
"Doc, we need to handle this first." Tricity turned back to Daria. "I'm counting on you. Cassiel is second in command and we don't have him anymore. Orion is out scouting for the facility, so you're next up in command. Find out who's missing ok? Looks like we'll need to call a meeting of all mutants in the city who are willing to help out and find the facility."

Normally Daria would have freaked out over the pressure. She was used to working solo but at the moment nothing was in her mind that preceeded getting Mike, Jamal and Ruby back where they belonged.
"I'll get right to it." Daria promised. "You get some rest and leave it all to me. I'll get you a progress report by the end of the day." she promised.
She gave Tricity a light kiss on the forhead. "Don't stress out about it. I know you and Mike and are close and he's in my head right now." she whispered. "So I understand how seriously you take things...everything. Thanks for trusting me, I won't let you down though." she promised and walked to the door. "C'mon Emerald."

Still in wolf form, Emerald's face brightened at the word go. Emmy put her paws on Tricitys bed, licking her cheek playfully before following after Daria. "Get better soon Tricity!" Emerald called to the older woman before following after daria

"Bye cutie." Tricity called to Emerald as the little wolf followed Daria. "And I don't...everything seriously!" She teased as the two left the infirmary. The Doc Prof worked on Tricity some more and reported once more that the pregnancy still seemed to be in danger. After some words of caution, the Doc gave her some sedatives and Tricity quickly fell asleep.

Wyn entered the room causiously. 'Well, smells like a hospital in here..' His mind began to think back to his past, before he shut his eyes tight and pushed that memory away. He didn't see anyone right away, "Excuse me, I was told to speak to the Headmistress." He thought it would be best if he stayed in formal dress for this, as such he was wearing his long sleeve black silk button-up shirt, and his best black slacks. On his way here he had run his hand through his hair to try and make it go back, it only semi worked.
The Doc Prof turned around at the voice and then gave an inquiring look, as he did not recognize the person. He nodded over to where Tricity was sitting up in her bed, mentally turning the channels on the television and sipping tea. "She's over there, young man."
Tricity happened to look across the large room and near the front doors, seeing the unfamiliar face standing with the Doc Prof. 'Must be a new resident,' she thought and then waved him over to her. She grabbed her black button-up sweater and put it on to keep warm as she waited for the prospective tenant to come over.

He looked at the doctor and nodded to him thankfully. He began walking toward the woman when over the tv he heard 'mutants'. He didn't wait for the next words before he reached out with his mind and pressed the mute button with his mind. He walked up to the woman, he guessed she was in her mid 20's. She was quite attractive. 'I wonder what happened to her.' He kept a respectable distance from her, as she was in a bed, he didn't want to intrude or make her uncomfterble.
He bowed slightly, his left arm was straight at his side while his right elbow was bent with the forarm resting above his waist, as he did his hair fell into his face, "Ma'am, I'm sorry to intrude apon you. I was told to speak to you." He held his hands in their same spots as he stood up, though the look of his hair was that of a hand going through it, but there was nothing there as his hair was pushed back from his face. He dropped his hands loosely to his sides. "I am Eldwyn Nyle Bebeodan; Call me Wyn or Nyle please."
Tricity smiled as the stranger came over, but the sudden silence of the TV made her look up to it in ocnfusion. 'I didn't do that.' She looked back over to the young man and figured he must have some type of mutation similar to herself. As he neared the bed, he suddenly stopped and bowed to Tricity, making her feel rather strange.
"Ma'am, I'm sorry to intrude apon you. I was told to speak to you. I am Eldwyn Nyle Bebeodan; Call me Wyn or Nyle please," he said very politely. 'Oh, he's absolutely adorable,' she thought, trying not to giggle, but sincerely loving his kindness.
"Nice to meet you, Nyle," she replied and told him to come closer and sit next to the chair by her bedside. "You aren't intruding at all. I'm the Headmistress of the institute. My name is Delilah Rose Tipper. Most call me Miss Tipper or Tricity, it really makes no difference. Are you looking to live here?"

Wyn walked over to the side of her bed, and began to sit down. For a moment it seemed he would land on the floor, but the chair moved under him quickly and just in time. "Ahh, yes, Ms.Tricity," He chuckled softly. He knew it would be rude if he laughed and didn't say why he did so. "Tricity, sounds like elecTricity." He gave her a smile, with just a hint of slyness, before he chuckled again. He looked at her again, after calming a bit. He had more of a serious tone and look to him, but not by much. "I've heard about this place, 'through the grape-vine' so to speak. I don't really know what I'd do here," he paused and glanced downward almost in as if contemplating, his face took a slighty sad edge to it. He spoke with a much softer voice, "I understand what I am, and I understand my abilities. I am one like others who are called 'mutants' even though we're human, all of us are, just another type, like Africans to Asians, humans, but different. But yet, in this age of 'understanding'," He wanted to spit the word out, but held back and instead said it with sarcasm. "The others rarely accept us and cast us out, so we are left to wander for years with no home and no place to call our own..."
He looked back up to the woman, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to go on a tirade." This time he blushed slighty and averted his eyes. "But, ah, like I said, I don't know what I would do here. I can only assume I'm too old for the school, and I don't think I'd qualify to teach at all..." His voice was soft and gentle, almost as if he expected to be turned away, turned away from a new home for the ump-teenth time.
Tricity reached down and touched his arm. "You don't need to work your way to stay here. There are plenty of people living here, older than you, who are using the institute as their home. No worries."
She smiled and sat back up in her bed, turning to face him. "I have to ask you a few questions though. Standard procedure to ensure everyone's safety, including your own. I need you to explain your mutation completely and thoroughly. It looked like you might have some power over electricity, though I'm starting to think it's telekinesis?"

He was startled when Tricity touched his arm, though he did not jump or pull away. He's not used to people showing any simpathy to him, let along touch him.
He nodded to her. "While I think that would be fun, to manipulate electricity, you're right, telekinesis. I've learned I can move objects weighing up to 250 pounds, or roughly around there, and move them with almost no effort, as if they were feathers. As for my other abilities..I'm not so adept at explaining them, but I can show you. Please forgive me, but please don't try and resist, I'm sure you could..." He paused as he looked and reached into her mind with his. He made no outward movements, he took hold of her motor functions and made her left arm raise straight into the air and rotate at the elbow, making slow circling motions. He realeased that hold and sent a strong suggestion to her to tap her head and rub her belly, since it is a suggestion, her mind would believe it was her own decision.
Tricity felt a little uneasy at his vague explanation, but the overwhelming sense of patting her head and rubbing her stomach suddenly came into her mind. When she did and finally stopped, Tricity realized what his mutation must be. "You can manipulate people's minds. That's impressive..." She paused a moment and took a more serious tone. "I'll have to ask that you don't use that mutation on anyone unwillingly, of course, but you may do so in the Danger Room. It's a place where you can practice using your skills in simulated danger. How old are you?"

"Oh, don't worry ma'am, I find it rude to do so. As such I appoligized before I did it." He laughed lightheartedly, "Though it IS kinda fun. Especially to watch when people do what I suggested they do." With this he covered his mouth with his hand, as he was giggling to himself so much his eyes were greatly squinted.
He took a deep breath and wiped a tear from his eye. "Sorry about that. I'm 19, Miss. Tricity." 'Danger Room...' "Umm..The danger room, sound rather combative...I've..um...never used my abilities in any sort of agressive way...."
"Unfortunately, sometimes it's necessary to be aggressive. You aren't obligated to go there," she explained with a smile. "It's more so for defense than offense...to be completely honest, we have been under attack a couple of times before."
Her heart sank as she thought of the first time the mansion was destroyed and the fact they had lost lives. Then more visions of General Whitmore and his soldiers attacking at night with the children running throughout the hallways flashed. "That's why we have formed a specific group of residents here called the X-Men. They help to keep us safe. Though at times, we need all the help we can get. Who knows, you may want to try the Danger Room out. It could help you control your powers, learn more about them, and help you defensively in case there's no help around at a specific moment in your life. Just a thought."

He noticed how her expression changed when she spoke. He put his hand on hers. "I hope the children were alright...."
"I'd hate to see the smile on Millie's face dissapear." His mind drifted again, to how much he missed his sister. "Are there any other telekenitcs here, who might be able to help me? I've been interested in learing some defensive moves. Weither they are physical or telekenitc doesn't matter which. But if I learned how to protect people with my abilities, it would make me most happy."
"Umm," His tone became soft and unsteady, "It's probably none of my buisness, but, would you mind if I asked why you're in the infirmary? "
