Daria winced and sighed, squatting down to be face to face with Sarah.

"Listen to me, Kid. He's fine. When I left him he was fine. We were kidnapped..and I don't know where he is but I'm working on getting him back. As often as he's saved me you can bet your life I'll save him.

"He'll be fine, Sarah, I promise."

Sarah's eyes glazed over, like they usually did when she used her power, and she suddenly looked panicked. "No..."

She looked at Daria in a sort of mixed horror and anger, though she seemed to be speaking to no one in particular. "NO!"

"Hey kiddo, remember those are only POSSIBILITIES, and I just told you he's going to be fine. And anyways, if anything happens to him I should lose my link with is mind and I can still feel him so you have nothing to worry about, okay?" She held out her arms. "Come here, Sar-bear."

As she said it, Daria knew that what she said was true, to an extent. The presence in her mind would only last until it was taken back by Michael, or until he died. But as she hugged Sarah, she got a flash of her vision... nothing like the detail Mike would have been able to give her, but Sarah's undeveloped powers were enough to give her a good idea... She could see Mike in his cell, much as he had been before, but with one huge, glaring difference. He had absolutely no will to resist, not even a spark of hope in his eyes. He bore the marks of more sessions, and he was completely broken, barely even recognizeable as the strong, willful man they all knew.

And as Sarah hugged Daria fiercely, breathing hard in her fright, Daria could see flashes of all the scenarios playing out in her mind... all of the variables Sarah could think of being put into the scene changing, but all of them with one common ending: her oldest brother was going to die.

Daria squeezed Sarah back, even though the images were scaring her as well. But she tried to keep in mind that all of that COULD happen-it didn't automatically mean it WOULD happen.

"Hey..Sarah.." Daria said blinking back her own tears. When she was okay she pulled back a little to plook the pretty little girl in the eyes. "Sarah, don't panic. Mike isn't going to die." she said it with such conviction she surprised herself...it must've been Mike's will power because she had thought they wouldn't make it just 5 hours ago.

"We went through alot and we got through it all. Mike's not gonna give up, no matter what, because we're all still here. You, me and ...Johnny...we're still out here and you know how much Mike loves us." she said blinking rapidly.

"But right now I need you to be a big girl like you always are so that me and Emmy can work to get everyone out assoon as possible, alright?"

Sarah blinked... Johnny? She hadn't thought of that, but if...

"YES!" she said urgently. "You need Johnny! He... I don't know what he'll... I can't see everything with him in the picture, but... You need him!"

Daria winced, standing. "Need is such a strong word, Sarah." she said.

"But yes, he could be useful. A dog with a flashlight could be useful." she muttered. "While I'm in the labs you can go wit Emerald to get him if you like." she offered. She knew to an extent, Sarah wasn't too fond of Johnny either but she thought maybe the girl could benefit from being around her real family.

Sarah whimpered a bit, then looked up. "We're... not allowed out of the mansion," she said, kicking the ground nervously.

Tricity opened her eyes and saw the girls standing in the room. The Doc Prof came over to her side and checked her vitals. She felt extremely weak and the doctor recorded a high fever or 103. He placed a cold cloth on her forehead and then began checking her pulse.

"Daria?" She said softly, wondering if what she was seeing was really there. "Dar, I thought...you were...were gone?"

Daria kissed the girl's forhead. "Good, it's much safer indoors than out right now." she said.

"Hey Tricity." Daria turned to the head mistress. "I was gone and I escaped...it's complicated. But everyone else is still there.

"I have full intentions of going back to get them, once I figure out how to get back. I could teleport but theres a chance I won't end up in the right place. I'm about to go to the labs and make and antidote to the serum they've injected the mutants with.

"But first, Emmy and I thought it would be a good idea to let you know you don't have to worry. We're forming a rescue team." Daria grinned slightly. She really admired Tricity, she even secretly dreamed of being the woman's apprentice-to see her laying there weak and unable to move was unsettling to say the least.

Sarah just sort of sniffled and sat down next to Tricity's bed.

Emerald merely nodded to everything that was going on. She morphed into wolf form and sat loyally by Daria's leg. Her tail thumped on the tile aimlessly as she looked at thier leader.

Tricity eyebrows furrowed as she heard Daria's plan. "A rescue team? We'll gather the X-Men first." A thought occured to her. Maybe most of the X-Men were taken. "How many mutants did you see captured in the labs? How many X-Men?"

Daria shrugged. "I was still drugged when we passed the cages. But Emmy said they took Riruki. Desiree is still here I think."

She turned to Emmy. "Do you know who else is missing?"

"Deltoid, Skolorio." Emerald responded, tail droopin when she thought of Ruby, cold and alone is a cell.
