The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I don't know, I mean I can't be sure until I talk with the Doc Prof and run some tests. *Del says quickly.* I'll be back after I've found him, excuse me. *She says taking off.*
Toxis rolls over on the bed and groans. She's shaking a little again and starts to sweat. But the beads running from her skin seem to have a greenish tint to them, and there's a little bit of a hissing noise as some greenish smoke rises from her clothes and the bed. She continues to shake uncontrollably and groan.
*Delphi returns about fifeteen minutes later with latex gloves and a syringe she gets over to Toxis and then pauses.* Does that look like acid to you? *She asks Archer.*

"It is acid." He says simply. "Her name is Toxis, Jocelyn actually. And now that she is awake, I'm going." He says, exiting the room and heading downstairs.
Ok . . .*She says, that guy is a little strange.* Jocelyn? Hello my name is Delphi, I don't know if you remember me. I was at S.H.E.I.L.D. labs a week or so ago, can you hear me? Jocelyn?
Toxis stops shaking for a moment and lies still, breathing hard. Her hands are clenched in fists and she's wearing a pained expression. She opens her eyes and looks up at Delphi for a second, then screams.
The two healers look at one another, not sure how they will be able to get a blood sample if they cannot touch Jocelyn. Then she starts coughing again, worse this time than it was. There seems to be more blood coming out of her mouth than before. One of the healers glances at Delphi. He takes the opportunity to get a blood sample from what Jocelyn is coughing up. The other healer attempts to use his powers on Jocelyn, but when he lays a hand on her arm he removes it quickly. The latex glove he was wearing is being eaten away, and he winces as the acid touches his skin and burns it badly.
The one healer threats the other healer as quickly as they can, and bandages up the hand.
*Meanwhile Del grabs the blood and light microscope.* Shit! I know what it is, and I only know one person who can take care of this. *Del informs the healers.* How long can you keep her alive for?
*Del heads straight for the reception desks and dials a cell phone number from memory. After a few rings a voice answers the other line,* Hello, Dr. VanDeKamp? Yea, it is Del. . . No. Not good, no not me . . . could you meet me at the institute? . . . yeah the one you dropped me off at . . . no this is an emergency, it has to do with our pet project. . . exactly. . . yes please hurry. *Del hangs up the phone. She then gets a shot of pain killer and calls for a temperature mutant.*
*Some time later, Frosty in tow Del says, *Jonathan I need you to drop the temperature in her to right around -1 celcius, can you do that?
Jonathan looks at her blankly.
*Del sighs,* 30 degrees fahrenheit, just at freezing but don't keep it there long enough for anything to freeze, I want it cold, do you understand?
"Sure Mrs-"
Ms. Delphi please Jonathan, if you absolutely need the title, other wise Delphi. *Del intrupts him,* Now freeze.
"No problem Del-Ms. Delphi . . . umm why am I doing this?" Jonathan asks as white mist/frost escapes from his pores filling the room.
*Delphi is at Toxis's side,* I want to stop her from sweatting long enough to administer some pain killers and drugs to relax her and hopefully buy me some time till help gets here. *Del explains as she visually monitors Toxis's vitals and emotionally feels for the heat causeing the sweatting to absess.*
*Thankfully it does, and Del is able to give Toxis some pain killers. She then tells the healers to keep an eye on her as the heads back to the reception desk to wait for Dr. VanDeKamp. It has only been a few minutes when Del looks up. She tries to put on a less worried face and is ready for Tricity to come in.*
*Tricity pushed the door open to the Doc Prof's office and saw Delphi where she thought she'd seen her before leaving the infirmary a little while ago. The two walked over to Del and Tric stood between them for an introduction.* "Well, Delphi this is Mike Asters and Mike, this is Del. But I guess you two already knew that?" *She said, smiling and sitting on the Doc's desk.*
