"Actually, now you mention it.." Toxis looks at her a moment. "I do remember you...you were...at the lab I went to. The SHIELD place, am I right?" She coughs pretty hard and then looks back at Delphi.
Yes I am, and I've called someone else up from the S.H.I.E.L.D. Labs. I hope he can help you, I actually staking a lot on it. *Del informs Toxis. She spends the next half hour trying to keep Toxis as comfortable as possible.*
*Finally enough time passes and Del anticipates Dr. VanDeKamp's imminent arrival. Del heads out and finds Dr. VanDeKamp, who was trying to find the infirmary.* Hey, Dr. VanDeKamp, over here.[/i]*
"Hello, Delphi so where is she?" Dr. VanDeKamp asks as he glances about the institutes ER. "Nice place, fairly well equipt for a school's ER."
Yes, well Doc Prof, is an actual doctor and he runs this place very well. *Del informs him and then shows him to Toxis's room.* She is in there, good luck. *[]i]Del says smiling and pushing him in.[/i]* Oh her mutation is she secretes acid from her skin.[/color]
Some local do-gooder/masked man dumped her on the Professor here. *Del explains, looking over at the now unconcious Toxis.* She was at the S.H.E.I.L.D. Labs, she delievered a message to us.
"I remember..." Dr. Van De Kamp says frowning. "Are you so sure it was a 'Do Gooder'? That person just exposed an entire school of mutants to a virus that targets mutants."
I didn't say he was an intelligent do-gooder, and thanks to the secrecy clause it isn't like anybody in the entire world is even aware of the dangers of sick mutants.*Del points out, it is obvious at this juncture she thinks sheild needs to make a broad announcement concerning the virus.*
"My healing powers tend to work from the inside out- focusing on things like virus and forign agents. An acid burn is- well a bit outside what I can do."
Actually, the acid isn't burning her, at all. It burns everyone who touches her. The two other healers had to see other healers to fix their hands. *Del explains. Toxis seems completely immune to her own acids.*
He sighs. "It is going to be a long day of healing." He's not looking forward to it, simply because it means that many more people will know he's a mutant.
"I can't say as I really care weather she has any internal pins that I should worry about, as an epidemic has wider consequences..." He says, taking off a glove and laying fingers upon.
I'll get you a healer quick. *Del says as she rushes off and soon returns with Evan Schmitt, a fairly capable healer in his own right.* This is Healer Schmitt, and this is Dr. VanDeKamp. *She intruduces them.*[/blue]
"Nice to meet one of my own kind." He says with a tired smile- he's been under plenty of stress laitly, and today's not looking any better. "Any internal pins or medications I should know about before we lay hands upon eachother?"
