The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nope he is over at the park since it was so nice out, and don't imply marriage around him he . . .doesn't take it well. *Del repiles. She is staring curiously at Cassiel, and sensing dual emotions?* Cassiel, do you mind me asking what your powers are?
"Empathic telepathy and telekinesis," Mike replied simply. "I'm more or less in touch with all the strong emotions in the school, so I'm sorry, it probably makes me feel odd to you."
Just a little, I've felt much worse . . . so what were you looking for Siren for anyways? *Del asks flipping through the chart she picked up.* It is actually good you stopped by Tricity, I need to talk to you . . . privetly. *Del says trying to be polite.*
"Oh, ok...Mike, I'll be back in a sec." *Tricity and Del walk out of the office and stand a few feet from the door, but away from the beds of the infirmary so they are unheard.* "Actually, it's about Gorgon. But what's up? Is everything ok??"
*Del's face goes from bland to upset in the second it takes for Tricity to say Gorgon's name.* Gorgon--what does she have to! Ohh . . "Don't worry she won't be an issue" he says, "I would never let her - -" I'm gonna. *Del fumes and then realizes Tricity doesn't realy want to hear this.* Sorry, I'll tell you what I needed to say . . . but this is in the stricted confidence, there seems to be a medical problem, specifically a viruse, targeting mutants. *Del says quickly, obvioulsy this isn't the worst of the news.*
I mean there is a deadly viruse that specifically attacks mutation in DNA and causes it to burn out the body the mutation is confined in. I have been working with some other doctors throught the government when we discovered it. I've signed a confidentality agreement but considering I've now seen two cases outside of the original I think that it is time to break the silence. It is out in the world and it is contagious. *Del says apolgetically.* I came here to talk to Doc Prof about it, I'm waiting for him and the doctor I was working on the viruse with. *Del explains.*
"Christ..." *Tricity said, leaning against the wall.* "Have there been cases in the school? I've been so busy lately..." *She began, getting up from the wall and looking around in the infirmary.*
One, but she isn't a student. She was brought here unknowingly by some guy in and outfit, calls him self Archer. She is in isolation now. *Del explains.*
