'All right. As I told you, I am not in full control of every combination yet, so I will start with switching my senses to my eyes. This is also the only part when my mutation comes with physical change." Garrett nodded, as if she could see the movement. His attention was fully focused on her neural map. There was a strange construct inside her brain, something he had never seen before. He couldn't put his finger on it, where he had seen it before. the neural energy of her senses were fully focused on her eyes, a current of it trailing from her entire neural structure. It was very interesting.
She proceeded to begin the experiment. 'Sound" He was unsure of what she was seeing, but his own eyes watched as a change occurred within her. The energy in her structure changed, as input was routed from her hearing to her vision. It was..It was akin to someone changing cords on a machine. Maybe that didn't explain it properly for him, but it was the only viable explanation he had. Input received from the sides of her head funneled directly to her visual input. "Touch" Again, the connections changed, the auditory input trailing off and her nerves in the union of their contact lighting up now. Also, the chair against her body fed the input. there was even a slight variation over her skin, as if she might be recording the room's heat? It was all very interesting.
Her head turned up to him, eyes the color of blood. This must have been the conscious visual change in her. It was an odd sight, seeing her face and her body while it flared with the sensation of touch. It gave Garrett new visions of his own connections. "Smell." Whiule looking at her, he watched the tactile sensations fade and dim to normal as her eyes changed to a blue color. As the hue changed, the bulk of input moved to the front of her face, the nerves in her nose growing and opening. He was glad he had showered, for her sake. After a moment, her eyes returned to normal and the neural energy evened out to what Garrett was accustomed to.
"Umm... I am not comfortable with tasting things around me, so. How does it look so far?" Garrett released her hand, its warmth trailing to his palm. " I can't share in the sensory input. Well, I might be able to, but not yet. As I observed, I could see the neural energy in you connecting each sense together. Do you only use your eyes? It seems like you have potential to make other connections occur.' He was excited with the study here. Garrett wanted to stoke the fire." Why don't you try closing your eyes, effectively closing one of your input sources. Try listening to my voice and applying it to your sense of touch. " He gently traced his fingers over the soft skin of her forearm, reciting vowel sounds. "Ay EE Eye O You" Repeating the mantra, the sensation of his caress kept the connection between them while allowing for a second source of input for her.

"No, I use all my senses." Susan explained "But the switch is not always voluntary. Sometimes I just sense things in a different way without realizing it. You see, after a while one gets used to the mixed up sensory input and stop telling normal and combined senses apart..." she remembered to take a breath "I think it is how the brain deals with the overflow." "Why don't you try closing your eyes, effectively closing one of your input sources. Try listening to my voice and applying it to your sense of touch. " The witch nodded, and closed her eyes, even though she knew she didn't need to. Garrett started chanting, and she focused really hard on her ability, feeling as her sense of hearing slowly spread over her skin. For a moment it was as if she could hear with her whole body; and then, when the switch was complete, the sound turned into waves upon waves of resonance, going deeper than her skin. She could feel the difference between vowels, spreading across her skin, followed by goose bumps. She let him continue for a while, and observe; she observed too, this combination of her senses was not one she used often, or experienced for more than a few seconds. After a while, her eyes opened once again. "Interesting."
