The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"I tend to just push out the bad memories, but I just found out that it's not good to do that and it like deteriorates your mind." She shrugged. When she repressed her street memories, she was more vulnerable to crying and feeling alone...that and when she was in immense pain, but that's a given. "I hope I make to be a better sister than whatever that one c o c k y chic was." She had heard something about this Syn character but not much, then again, it might not even be in Deathstar's case.
Anyways, Fade moved over to her bathroom, since she was an X-Man, she had her own room and her own bathroom. She grabbed a glass of water and a washcloth before sitting down behind Deathstar and ringing the cloth of it's water on top of Deathstar's head. "Hope that's not too cold." She said as she winced in pain and found herself using one hand and her teeth to ring it out because the one in the sling was too painful. Then, using a brush and scissors, she went to work.
"you are more than a sister Fade" she said as she sat still in the chair as Fade cut her hair. Deathstar remained silent for a quick moment as locks of her hair slowly fell to the wooden floor, "you are quite good for a one handed stylist" she said while smiling at Fade.
Gazing at the pictures on the wall, Deathstar was quite inquisitive of who those people were, "Who's that?" she says as she points to a portrait on the wall.
"Thanks." She smiled as she continued to cut Star's hair, having to twist her torso to grab the hair strands and cut it with her free hand. "Oh, that's my family." She said, looking up at the portrait. ((Sorry...was there originally a portrait or was that set up for my choice? I have writers block!!!!!))
Deathstar grabbed the mirror from her lap and looked at her refelction, "nice job Fade, Damien would love this" she said while turning her head from side to side admiring her hairstyle. "Now its my turn" she slowly rose from the seat strectching her legs. She limped over to the window looking outside as the mansion youth played amongst on another. "You know what!, this is worth getting banged up" she says referring to the young children happiness. She sighs and quickly turns her attention back on Fade.
Fade laughed, a bit painfully, but she laughed never-the-less. Just had to suck it up for a few minutes, then she could get some rest. "Glad you like it." Fade smiled. Maybe she should run her own mansion salon? Naw, she only knew because she had to cut her hair when she was out on her own or she would have been tripping over it out on the streets.
"Hmm..." She smooshed her lips together as she thought about it. "I don't care what kind of hair style, whatever you think works, take your pick." She smiled before sitting down. Boy, it felt good to sit down, very good and she was glad that she wasn't falling asleep just yet, big accomplishment.
"How about I just give you a trim around the edges?" she asks while she rubs her fingers through Fade's hair. "I hope your comfortable because this will be a long ride" she jokes around with Fade scaring with the fact that this woman will be cutting her hair.
