The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Bad time to introduce myself as the competent music teacher?" "Yes" Susan nodded, sarcasm completely lost on her as she turned to look for a way out. The house seemed awfully quiet, but from this room, there was only one way out, so it was only logical to follow it until they came to a decision. Susan's eyes kept changing colors, looking for threatening signs or any sign of the girl and the boy who disappeared. And she found one. They were walking down a hallway when she first saw the sounds. They were weak, just a faint coloring in the air, but she recognized them none the less. Susan walked faster, tracing the color back to its origin, which, rather unfortunately, was hidden behind a massive looking door. Putting her palm against the door, she looked again; there they were, she could sense their body heat, and the voices were stronger now too. And mixed with another sound that felt dark and slimy. "They are here" she said, looking at the wolf and the teacher "The boy and the girl, they are behind this door. I can hear them. There is, um, something else in there too. I don't like the sound of it." She pushed on the door experimentally, but she didn't really think it would open. It didn't. "Emerald, can you get to them?" she asked as she, very wisely, stepped out of the way.
It was a good thing that Susan could hear exactly where her two friends were because if she didn’t locate them when she did, Emerald would have no doubt started busting down doors. The wolf girl had followed the witch and once the other girl had found the door, Emerald grinned a mouthful of sharp teeth.
Kicking the door down wasn’t a hard task, considering it was even weaker than the last one she destroyed with her third form arm. The door splintered and cracked, revealing the twisted hall of mirrors and the two teens trapped within it. It should be noted that the mirros in the room started to fade, once the door was kicked down freeing the young mirror mancer from his prison. The room was the living room that was so near the entrance of the house the front door could be reached just a few steps away. This was when that horrid laughter once again echoed in the room, sending chills down the spine of most likely everyone in the room.
“Did you kids have fun in your house of mirrors? We sure did!” The female’s voice echoed in the house once again, “Maybe if I let the monsters get you it would have been more entertaining, eh Blondie?”
The laughter seemed to still echo through the whole how but it was joined by a low chuckle, obviously belonging to that of the male sibling. The houses eeriness only grew when the doors, the ones remaining on the hinges that is, started to open and close loudly.
“You know, this isn’t such a coincidence that all of you are here, we have been studying mutants for quite some time and by far your group is by far the most interesting. So my dear brother and I decided to find you while you were sleeping, when you were off your guard and prob your minds formulating the perfect way to terrify and disturb you.” The Males voice explained, seeming rather cool and calm about the fact that they had been observing this group of people for months.
“Setting up the perfect plan to terrify an incompetent school teacher who wouldn’t be able to teach anyone the harsh lessons she learned,” The female began
“A mutant in denial who will forever be alone because of her harshness towards others.” The male continued
“A cowardly girl unable to face her fears even if it means the cost of her own friend’s life.” The girl continued cheerfully.
“A shape shifter who was abandoned by their mother and who holds the false hope they can live a normal life and recover someone who doesn’t want to be found.” The male droned, obviously not used to the taunting but the enjoyment in his voice was evident.
“And finally,” The girls voice paused for a moment, “A werewolf unable to put her past demons behind her and will forever live out her days as the monster she was forced to become almost ten years ago.”
Throughout the twins entire speech, Emeralds anger was growing and the more in grew the more feral she started to look. It was bad enough that they brought up things in her past things that she didn’t want everyone to hear about. Now they were bringing up her friends own weaknesses more than they already had, making her anger only build until soon she was at her breaking point. This was when Emerald caught the scent that she had smelled when the girl had taunted the group in the cage during Susan’s nightmare and an absolutely terrifying grin crept across Emeralds face. It was the grin she would often hide at the risk of scaring people, the same feral, terrifying grin that would forever haunt her mauled victim’s nightmares.
Catching the scent was probably the best thing that had happened to Emerald all damn day and she wasn’t going to slip up. Taking off out of the room and back into the hallway they came in through the wolf girl was on a mission, take out the people who hurt her pack. She looked positively ravenous as she sped down the hallways, towards the source of the scent. The speeding werewolf didn’t have long to wait before she saw the same girl who taunted them earlier standing at the end of the hallway with the same demonic little grin on her face.
“Awww, is little puppy angry? Is that because we hurt you friends or maybe its because we revealed to much about her past.” She explained cheerfully, beckoning Emerald closer in an almost flirtatious way. “Want to play with me? I probably don’t bite nearly as much as you do.”
This was the girl that hurt her friends, this was the girl that was making her flashback to a time she didn’t want to remember.
This was the girl Emerald was going to kill.
Unable to control her anger anymore Emerald fully lunged at the girl, fully ready to rip her face off. This was when something rather unexpected happened. The maniac’s brother came out of nowhere, slamming his foot into the wolf girls chest. He managed to knock the wolf away from his sister with ease, the momentum causing Emerald to fly backward. It was at this point the twins placed their hands in each others hands, smiling knowingly as the female started to get up.
“Sleep” They both chimed in unison, there voices being soothing but carrying a deadly air to them. The two grinned as the formerly struggling to get up wolf girl collapsed onto the floor. Soon the other teens as well as the teacher were feel the same effects.
Once again, the scene changed rapidly as the entire house changed into that seemingly of a hospital, the sterile white walls being a dead give away, but there was something different about this hospital. Something darker, more sinister seemed to lurk around every corner almost as if something was disturbingly wrong about this place. The florescent lights buzzed ahead of the group whoever there location was and ghostly images of doctors dressed in strange black lab coats floated about. This was when the female appeared before them, dressed in a ‘sexy nurse’ outfit and with a playful wink she grinned at the group.
“Little puppy’s going in for a bit of a check up but you are more than welcome to observe the procedure. Its going to be a real breakthrough in science and a real treat to watch.” She purred out as she walked around the room
Within the room was the typical surgery room style but with a rather wicked new twist. While the room did have the standard, the operating table, tools and things like that, it resembled more of an operating room from a horror movie than anything else. The walls were splattered with blood, the tools near the operating table looked more like medieval torture devices than medical tools, disturbing looking machines littered the walls making medieval England’s torture look like Disneyland and in the background were corpses, floating in water filled tubes, judging by the decay of the bodies they had been in there for quite some time.
Finally there was the “patient” herself, who was struggling helplessly with the metallic bands that wrapped around her arms and legs, keeping her securely to the cold operating table. Despite her attempts at hiding it, the wolf girl was absolutely terrified, struggling helplessly against her bonds, her growls and snarls a mix of anger and fear. She was in a hospital gown and this fact seemed to add to her panic as she thrashed wildly on table.
A light laugh escaped the female twins lips as she watched the wolf girl struggle. She pressed a button on the law and Emerald’s sounds of panic echoed in the room.
"LET ME OUT OF HERE!” The she wolf howled, thrashing on the table more watching as a shapeless figure rolled in a tray of syringes, with various concotions filling each one. A terrified wolf like whimper escaped her throat when she laid eyes on them, only increasing her franticness to escape. "LET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE, DONT PUT ME THROUGH THIS AGAIN!” Emerald howled, watching in horror as the same shapeless figures prepared the Iv as well as various other tools.
“That’s the funny thing about your little werewolf friend is that most of her fears resign in her past, a graphic little one I might add. But I must say its rather hillarious to watch her thrash about on that table as if it would help her at all. So Care to watch the show? The fun is about to begin.” The female twin laughed as she made her way towards the door

ooc: sorry I keep taking so long to post ladies, please feel free to skip my turn whenever it seems appropriate and I will catch up when I do get a chance to post.
Ic: Raina rolled her eyes as the twins went on and on again. "Yeah we heard this part all ready..." she moaned as they repeated yet again about their fears. "You've sort of spoiled it you know, now we know you're just two stupid power hungry mutants using your minds to annoy the hell out of us." she came up beside Emerald after dusting herself off. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" she mocked in a wizard of oz tone.
The truth was, Raina wasn't scared anymore. She'd been through way too much in her mutant journey to be scared of these attacks. Sure, they totally got her hook line and sinker before, but now she knew exactly who she was up against. "I think you're the ones who should be scared. You've got a bunch of pissed off powerful mutants down here, and we have some pretty powerful friends too!" she chased after Emmy not knowing the girl was thinking as violent thoughts as she was. Raina wasn't thinking Kill, more like knock them unconscious. If they went out like that perhaps they couldn't broadcast these illusions anymore.
Emmy went sailing down before Raina could reach her and that one command:Sleep had her annoyingly getting groggy thinking these twins could be an awful lot like her brother...
...
It was the hospital smell that got to her first. That awful sterile smell. She woke up in a waiting room or something to that effect. It looked more like a lab so she wondered if the twins even knew what a hospital really looked like. She felt groggy and heavy still, she knew she had to get up and find Em and the others but this chair was just too comfy...

Twyla's head popped up when she heard her name. It had been resting on her shaking knees and crossed arms in an attempt to make herself smaller. At first the source of the voice wasn't clear and then it spoke again. "Gawain?" She turned and saw the boy kneeling in the mirror near her side. In a flurry of movement the girl twisted herself and pressed her own palms against the cool glass so that she was in a similar kneeling position. The sound was getting closer, but that wasn't important at the moment.
She spoke quickly and her tone was less panicked and more concerned and confused. "I'm fine. Are you okay? Why are you--" It was quiet for a moment and then crack, crinkle, smash. The sound of glass breaking. Gawain's eyes widened at this noise and the girl realized that he must be stuck in the mirrors, that's why he hadn't come out as soon as he saw her. "What happens if you're in a mirror and it breaks?" He was telling her to leave and in the back of her mind a strong urge to flee the creature was arising but she had to know. There was no way she was leaving without him, no freaking--
It sounded like a door was opening and Twyla could see a faint amount of light fill into the hall. And then an all too familiar voice was speaking again. The female twin see meed to be talking to the pair in the hall and against her will the blond shuddered at the thought of cold clay and slimy tentacles...
The twins kept talking and their words replaced the panicked bird feeling in her chest to a dull numb, hazed over a bit with an ache of anger. The girl made no move, just tensed up at the words echoing in the house. Her fingers half scratched at the glass of the mirror as she tried to comprehend being watched for months by a pair of creeps. Twyla stared at her worn sneakers as if the answers to the sudden questions flapping around in her mind could be found in the green and brown pattern. After a moment she turned to the boy behind the glass. "Gawain, I am so sorry that I--"
Sleep.And so the girl did.
Twyla awoke to the sounds of whimpering with a start. She was sitting on the floor of a room of some kind. The tile floors reminded her of somewhere...a dentist office maybe? But when she looked up the rest of the view was pure hospital...or something. 'Hospital' wasn't quite the right word for it, the room looked more like a torture chamber glammed up with some shinier surfaces and a lab coat. And then she saw the table, and the girl strapped to it.
The blond tried to shoot up from her spot on the floor but she only managed to tumble back down on wobbly legs. "Emmy!" She called before her knees hit the floor hard. Twyla was dizzy and decided to wait for her head to clear to stand up.
>>"What happens if you're in a mirror and it breaks?"
I'm screwed, that's what. Gawain frowned inside; Twyla didn't need to know that. Of course he was already bleeding from half a dozen different cuts, so there was a hint. "I'm fine, Twlya, just go ahead..."
Emmy came to the rescue. As always. The illusion started to fade, and Gawain stumbled out of the mirror, catching himself before he fell on Twyla. "Just in time, Em..." And then the twins were at it again. Gawain shuddered at the idea of them digging around in his head for weeks. He was probably lucky they didn't come up with something worse. Teenage minds could do that. Wait, schoolteacher? Gawain looked at Raina; he remembered her from the school. How the heck did she end up here?... Well, at least we are supported by faculty...
>>“...A shape shifter who was abandoned by their mother and who holds the false hope they can live a normal life and recover someone who doesn’t want to be found....”
"What part of shut the *** up don't you understand?!" he growled at the voices. The next moment Emmy was tearing down the hall, and he chased after her... Bad idea.
Sleep.
Gawain hated hospitals. Not with the fear and anger of the wolf girl; he just simply hated them, and avoided them the best he could. Especially since he couldn't spend more than a day in one without being labeled a new scientific curiosity. He blinked the sleep away and looked around, letting out a sigh when he saw the others were still there. Starting the search again would have been more than he had strength for. Except for, well, Emmy...
>>"LET ME OUT OF HERE! LET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE, DONT PUT ME THROUGH THIS AGAIN!”
Again?! Oh hell.
Gawain was on his feet in an instant, even though he felt like he usually did after a series of shots at a party. Without the buzz. Yeah.
>>“...But I must say its rather hillarious to watch her thrash about on that table as if it would help her at all. So Care to watch the show? The fun is about to begin.”
"Oh no you don't." Gawain growled as the psycho nurse started towards the door. There were two priorities right now: get the torture devices away from Emmy, and kick nurse *ss into next week. Fortunatly, there was a good opportunity to do both with the same move. Gawain crossed the distance between him and the bed in two long steps, turned, and used the momentum to kick the tray they just rolled in towards the nurse. The kick was enough to send it speeding across the room, scattering syringes in all possible direction. He buried his elbow in the nearest doctor's shadowy chest before he sprang after the tray, towards the nurse. If he could get to her, maybe the illusion would break. He trusted the girls to get to Emmy and set her free; one twin down and the werewolf free, they would have good chances to make it out of here alive. Hopefully.

“A mutant in denial who will forever be alone because of her harshness towards others.” Susan scoffed. Was that really the best they could do? Threating her that she would live alone? As if that would matter, for a witch. The others seemed shocked or hurt by what they were told, although not as much as befor. You can get used to everything. Even nighmares. Sleep. The command tasted like medicie. Waking up in a hospital was worse than the witch hunt. There were smells, and noises, and colors, and tastes that were all spinning around her head and making a mess of everything she sensed. Susan tried to blink the confusion away, and shook her head. The wolf girl, Emerald, was being tortured. Susan tried to stand, her senses still switching randomly. There was more noise, as the guy from their team attacked a nurse and some doctors. In the moment of confusion, the witch took a deep breath of the medinice-colored air, and cleared her head. With that done, she hurried over to the operating table to help Emerald the best she could.
The lady twin wasn't exactly ready for the medical tools to come careening toward her, nor was she ready for some of the illusionary doctors to fall from the boy’s attack. In truth, neither of the twins expected the teens and the teacher to be even able to rise up after the single command. It soon became clear as the “nurse” hit the floor headfirst, that the two were becoming weaker with every illusion, the way the image of the lab briefly wavered before disappearing completely. The blond was unconscious as she laid on the ground, still breathing but not moving in the slightest.
The team found themselves in the kitchen of the house, and Emerald was on the table, which she slid off of as soon as she realized she was free. The werewolf stood up on wobbly legs, rubbing at her neck self consciously. There was a clear needle pinprick in the wolf girls neck, apparently she had been injected with something before they had woken up, making it hard for her to stand. Leaning against the table, the female’s legs were shaking partially from fear and partially from the injection.
"Well at least that’s over...ugh shit that sedative is still in me," Emerald groaned, bracing herself against the table, trying her best to walk but stumbling as she did so. Her legs felt like jelly, and it made things hard for her to even move well. While she was put to sleep with the rest of the group, the twins gave her something extra for a second part of the wolf girl’s nightmare so she would have a hard time running away.
"It’s not over yet," a distinctive male voice said, kicking the medical tray back at the boy knight. It would seem that the male twin was none too happy about his sister being knocked unconscious, and with a low growl, he made his own illusion, one that, unfortunately, Emerald recognized.
The illusion he cast was shaping his body into that of a six foot five beast of a man with a wolven tail and red eyes. Large teeth poked out of his mouth as he smiled a terrifying grin that would send the chills down any sane mans spine. His hands were humongous and had large claws protruding from each finger. It was clear to see that he was far more beast than he was man.
"Look familiar, Miss Lupin?" he inquired, stepping towards the wolf girl and Susan, the same grin on his face.
Emerald's eyes widened, fear rushing back to her in full force, though she knew it wasn’t real, and she knew he was an illusion. She couldn’t stop her body from shaking or her voice from hitching with fear as she spoke. You aren’t real," she growled, her voice unable to hide the absolute terror this form held for her.
While his sister slowly started to regain consciousness, as she had only gotten a small bump on the head, the brother approached with another step. "True, but its driving you mad isn’t it? That I know exactly what, he looks like, his walk, his smile and why you’re so scared of him, beside the fact that you were his first in a long line of his victims. How long were you with him in that room, all those years ago? Five hours, was it? Five long hours of being chained to a wall, doing whatever he wanted to you, making you helpless for the first time in your life, unable to fight back."
Emerald felt her body shaking as he spoke, horrible, horrible flashes of her past streamed in front of her eyes as she remembered all of the horrors the madman did to her.
He paused for a moment looking at the rest of the group with the same hungry eyes that haunted the werewolves’s darkest nightmares. The same dark grin stayed on his face as he looked at the group with a pondering look on his face.
"Now, who shall we start with?" he asked, scanning the room with a hungry look in his eyes.
OOC: Post order revamp, just for convience Mirror, Susan,Twyla and Raina. And then me!
The tray knocked Gawain off his feet, and he rolled, staying on the floor. The person who entered the room looked terrifying, and he could see the fear on Emmy's face. Whoever this (or the original person) was, they'd met before, and it was bad enough for the wolf girl to fear him the way Gawain had never seen her. Gawain also noticed the way the illusion faded when the nurse was knocked out. The male voice sounded familiar too, and kitchen looked real, for a change. As the man spoke to Emmy, Gawain inched closer to the nurse. She looked like she was coming around. Or would have, before Gawain hit her on the head.
An unconcsious telepath is an inactive telepath. An inactive telepath is the only good kind of telepath (at least in Gawain's current opinion). Of course dead telepath is not bad either, but there is always a chance for going from one state into the other.
>>"Now, who shall we start with?"
"How about you sister?"
By the time the man turned towards him Gawain was holding a switchblade at the girl's throat "Can she magic this away, huh?" he stared at the man, hoping someone would do something to help, because he was realy not sure where he was going with this. Probably, hopefully: home. "You lost the audio stream, sucker." he smirked "And now ya're gonna let us go, or we'll have to ruin the nurse outfit for good. If you have been in my head, you know I would."
I would. Hell, yes, I would. If this is what it takes to get Twyla and the others outta here: I will.
"Now ya open us an exit and let us go. And it'd better be a real one."

The illusion was gone, and Susan's senses snapped back to normal. The kitchen looked familiar; Emerald got off the table without her help but she didn't seem so sure on her feet. Susan moved closer and put an arm around her somewhat awkwardly, to support her. The man who entered looked menacing and, well, downright insane... but his voice didn't fit. Susan's eyes narrowed and turned pitch black. There was no doubt. Same dark tone of voice, same sick fluorescent color of a mutant gene gone horribly wrong. "No, he is not real." she agreed with the wolf girl. Or, rather, the figure as they could see it was not real. The person behind it... Susan focused on the sounds around the room. They looked normal. They smelled real. They tasted as they should, in a non-illusion environment. Th wolf girl kept trembling. It was close enough to mess with Susan's senses. She also observed the fact that the illusion faded with the female knocked unconscious. If they were siblings, and their powers were synchrnized, it only made sense the male alone would be weaker... The boy seemed to pick up on that chance, and he turned the situation to their advantage. Probably. Maybe. "Now ya open us an exit and let us go. And it'd better be a real one." The witch nodded. "I will know if it is not real. I can tell." her eyes swam black "You are not that good on your own."

It took a while for Twyla's head to truly clear up but everything outside of her little bubble of vision was happening a lot faster. There some swishing noises a few thuds and some words that in her foggy state the girl couldn't make sense of and as Twyla focused on her breathing and stared at the floor it changed. Looking up and blinking at the sudden light of the kitchen the girl realized that they were in fact in a kitchen. Silently she hoped it was a real one.
Standing up, she tried to make sense of the scene before her. Emerald and Susan were standing by a table and there was a beast-looking man talking like the male twin (Twyla didn't even flinch at this, she was simply observing) and there was Gawain holding a knife to the female twin's throat.
A flinch.
Wait, Gawain was holding a knife to the female twin's throat and he was saying something. "...If you have been in my head, you know I would." There was some more blinking at this and Twyla took a step back towards the wall before taking another look at Emerald. What's going on? Worry momentarily took the place of surprise and without thinking about it she was across the room to where Susan and Emerald were.
Susan's eyes were black as she said something. They were leaving it seemed. Or at least they were attempting to force the hand of the male twin. Or something. "Em, are you okay?" The girl whispered through all the cotton of sleep still in her mouth.

Raina had awoken but pretended to be still knocked out just a bit longer. She was waiting. Waiting for an opportunity to do what she was best at. Through narrow slits in her eye lids she saw the room become normal and the boy telepath take on the form of Em's worst nightmare. Em was being brave- good for her.
When one of the teens held a blade to the throat of the girl twin Raina saw her chance. She let out a long piercing note.
One of the kitchen pipes burst and water splashed over the twin-wolf-guys legs. It froze on contact in a solid sheath of ice that crawled its way up his body to wrist level immobilizing him. Of course, she had to wonder if an ice cube psychic could still project any illusions and she was tempted to freeze him entirely. But Raina was a sucker for the prodigal sons and daughters. She didn't want this friend of Em's to slit the throat of the female and if she could stop it she would. She wasn't a teacher and an x-man for nothing. Part of her was hoping that once they got out she could find a way to help these twins- find out what made them this cruel.... but that was Raina the idealist for you.
She stopped singing. "Sorry 'bout the ice Em, figured you'd prefer it to big bad and hairy here." she said coming up beside the wolf girl and bracing her side so she wouldn't fall. Raina would have been a bit cold to the touch.
She turned her face to the male twin who was in the shape of a wolf man. "I wont allow anymore violence if I can help it." she said directed at him "But I'm one peaceful teacher among a whole group of very angry not so peaceful mutants." she glanced at the young man with the knife from the corner of her eye. "I think you should head his warning and give us our way out. I likely can't hold them back."
It was a bit if a good cop bad cop routine, but Raina wasnt going to let anyone kill anyone. If it came down to it she'd freeze everyone where they stood....-There was more than enough water to do it- until they could knock the telepaths unconscious.
When he saw the threat the boy posed to his sister, The male twin froze, not only by the ice that crept around his legs but the sheer fact his sister was in danger. While, the twins were planning this, niether of them paused to think of the fact that they may end up getting the tables turned on them. It was a deadly mistake and with a mistake like that, deadly consequences soon would follow and that was the last thing the young man wanted. The male twin smiled a little before turning back into his normal self, with barely any effort. Then by moving his hand with a quick motion he flicked his wrists outwards, and various loud bangs echoed throughout the house, sounding as if something was slamming a bunch of doors and windows open. The pale moonlight drifted into the room and the sound of crickets and car horns echoed in the house. It was now truly open, without any funny business. Once the noises resided the male twin smiled a little bit at the group.
"This group did far better than I expected, you are free to go. Unless you wish to gut us alive then by all means go right ahead." The male twin said, showing no emotion in his voice. His still focussed on his sister however, his face showing concern for her, far more than himself.
Emerald in the meantime, became relieved that the image of Bloodfang was gone. Though she still looked shaken as all hell, she did feel a wave of calmness wash over her. It seemed that the bestial man that the male twin turned into was far more terrifying than any lab the female was in.
"I'm fine guys, just fine, "Emerald told them, though she sounded somewhat unsure herself. Briefly, images of her own past flashed before her eyes in some kind of twisted movie, making her wince. It was the problem with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, when something reminds one of the event that caused them the trauma, its hard for them to not think about it. Emerald managed a smile, attempting walk foward on weak but stubborn legs. "Come on, lets go home."
And with that, the nightmares were finally over.....For this group of victims at least.
OOC: Alright guys feel free to post up your exit posts in any real order or no exit post at all. Thank you for participating in Terror time group one, hope to see you again soon!

"Let;s get you out of here Em. The ice should melt in a couple of hours." she said staring at the young man and being careful not to turn her back on him.
She felt angry with herself. She was supposed to be a team leader for the x-men and here she was needing so much saving. It wasn't that the twins scared her, but seeing that she did have so many unadressed weaknesses did. She'd need to remedy that and spend more time training and taking his job seriously. Yes the aquarium work was important but with the x-men you never knew when something would happen
"That's was crazy." she said to Em letting her down outside of the house. "I dont think that's the last we'll see of them either." she turned to the others "I guess I'll see you all in group training."
