The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"We're all here for you," Juka assured Kasumi as she accepted his hug. "As for me, I'm doing so much better now. You and Shana and Shin were all such a wonderful help in getting me back on my feet." Juka offered a supportive smile and the girl. "And I am going to do just as much for you, I give you my solemn vow." He spoke very seriously but gave her a wink to counteract his serious tone.
Juka was happy to see that the other two women in the room seemed likewise intent upon making sure that Kasumi had as good a valentine's day as possible, despite her problems. That, he decided, was why he kept coming back to the Mansion despite the fact that his home was elsewhere in the city; that sense of companionship and comraderie. Everyone here was so nice, they didn't judge and they certainly didn't kill people. A stray thought intruded, wondering if he was being niave staying here but he forcibly pushed it aside.
"So, Raina my dear, what do you have planned for us all?"

Raina frowned watching Kasumi "You know you can always drop by my office." she was worried about the look of her. Heart break could be a bitch that was for sure.
She turned her attention back to Juka thinking he was referring to the musical at first since it was on her mind but realizing he meant the 'party'
"eh well..." she looked a bit embarrassed. "Can't do a whole lot with only a few of us... the mansion did just get a wii though." she motioned at the TV "Anyone up for the new mario? We've got 4 of us!"
Truth be told Raina sucked at video games and usually preferred to watch others play... but it was always such a good ice breaker!

Kasumi is thinking soon she is brought back her eyes looks to Juka she speaks in a sad voice "Shin and I are no more..I am haveing a very hard time with it." Her eyes looks to Raina "I will in a few I am just not hungry." Well she has not ate good for days. Yet Kasumi has took the broke up very hard. She shakes her head softly trying not to think to much about it.
Kasumi wounders if there is anything that could dole the pain of this? Kasumi looks to Fade she gives her a weak smile "That does sound better." Kasumi soon hugs Juka "So how are you doing?" She will try her best to do good this day. Kasumi needs to be happy she has not been for a while. She knows that she can not be down all the time.
Even if Kasumi is happy for a short time it is better then none. She keeps her smile it is not fake. It is a true smile. Oh there is her bright green eyes they were in there some were/ Kasumi's eyes are not the dim green right now. That is a very good thing.
((SOOOO sorry, I got caught up in Romania and forgot to post here))
A wee? What were all these new game systems? They had a QTip or a QBox, a PST, now these little games people played while just walking around. Supposedly, this Wee was one of those "in the zone" games. And wasn't Mario Kart something where they got to drive? Did it have instructions on how to drive? Fade never learned. "Yeah, that sounds like fun," she said, not wishing to be left out of the loop. She could at least fake that she knew what a Wee did.
She grabbed the remote and turned on the TV, there she did her part. Unfortunately, it was the only thing she knew how to do, and how to turn the channels. There were some plug in areas that the white box on the floor was hooked up to, so that was a start, but currently, only a Valentine's Day Episode of some kind of sitcom was on. Fade never watched TV, just movies, so she had no clue what it was about, only that a couple was laughing on the screen.
"eh well...Can't do a whole lot with only a few of us... the mansion did just get a wii though. Anyone up for the new mario? We've got 4 of us!"
Juka really wished he could do something more for poor Kasumi. She had been so nice to him when he had had his problems with Aura and his disobedient bubble and he knew what heartbreak felt like. He would do his best to make her feel better, he vowed, meager though it might seem when compared to the depths of heartbroken despair.
"Mario sound great!" Juka agreed with enthusiasm. It would be his second time only playing the Wii and he wasn't very good at all, but that wasn't really the point. If it had any chance of cheering up poor Kasumi than he had to do it. For her sake.
"So how are you doing?"
"I am doing fabulous, my dear," Juka assured Kasumi. The statement had the benefit of being at least mostly true. So what if he was consumed with recent moral dilemmas, that didn't really matter to much on a day like this right? Besides, surely those would work themselves out, wouldn't they? And even if they didn't, it was hardly fair to lay them on Kasumi or anyone else for that matter.
Juka grabbed a controller and settled himself on the floor, preparing for a night of intense Mario inspired competition.
