(OOC: Continued from Girl, Short on Staff, Cinnamon Rolls. With Meld! Woo.) " ... Wha ... Wow! Of course I will!" Kitska bounded up to the gate with all of the uninhibited cheer of a five year old. A little embarrassing, maybe, but she was too amazed to care as she peered through the bars at the enormous building on the other side. From the considerably packed streets of Bergen to the places she'd lived in since -- a teenager living on a tiny paycheck could only really support the smallest of bills, after all -- this was by far one of the biggest places she'd ever been asked to walk into. Bewildered, she looked back at Meld, suprise still splashed all across her features. There really was such a nice place for mutants? And there must be so many, if they needed that big of a house to fit only some of them in! "It really is a mansion, isn't it?" She jovially stated out the obvious and paired it with a broad grin before stepping back to Meld's side. The sunlight filtered through the leaves of nearby trees, leaving scores of bright rays in patterns on her arm and across the concrete, and through the bars of the gate as her gaze scanned the grounds visible from where she stood, vaguely wondering if this was really so simple and wonderful. Not that she doubted things like this could happen, but that they would come as a result of her strange abilities was unexpected, to say the least. So, a mutant school. A school for mutants? A place for mutants to stay? Either way, she could hardly hold back her excitement as she stood there, practically beaming at the place.

The Mansion had never quite felt like home to Meld but despite that she felt some pleasure at once again being before its doors. Her views were too radical and too violent for most who resided in its walls and people, children especially, tended to be afraid of her. She knew she would never feel as home within its walls as she had while she had resided at Sanctuary. Nevertheless, it had provided her with the food and shelter she needed to survive and survive relatively comfortably and she did, at least, reside among fellow mutants. Things weren't all bad and if nothing else those that ran the Mansion did good work for the mutants of the city.
"It really is a mansion, isn't it?"
Meld nodded, grinning. How adorable it was to see someone react with such stunned wonder. Had she herself ever been so easily impressed? Had she ever been so innocent? Perhaps when she still believed herself human but that had been such a long time ago that it was difficult to remember. There was something very pure about the reaction, something honest. Such a reaction was almost surprising in the most posative of ways.
Meld walked up to the gate and put in the password to allow them entrance, gesturing for Kitska to follow. "Hopefully someone will be around to help show you around and maybe have you fill out some paperwork. Its nothing major but they like to know if your mutation is a potential danger or anything."
