Skoliro stepped around the corner; no use hiding behind the wall now. He noticed that Jenny's eyes were changing color as he approached them, and he remembered he had seen her after the kidnapping. "No, we don't mind at all. I see Nika is glad to see another animal-ish mutant." "Well, there are a lot of animal-ish mutants at the mansion I've noticed." The last comment made Skoliro chuckle. There sure were a lot of 'animal-ish' mutants about, that part was defiantly true. "How have you been?" How had he been? Really, he himself was unsure. Nothing really eventful had happened,beside the making of his first friends. Alright, I guess.You?
"Oh, I've been...alive." What other word was there really to sum up her life other than the word alive? So much had happened, she was happy, she was settled, she hadn't seen Raph a few days and was upset by that, but other than that and the whole mission thing, she was just peachy.
Now that her eyes were back to normal, she could focus...ok, I take that back. Maybe there was some part of her that kept on reminding her that the eye-incident might happen again as it is a frequent event... oh well. She could only hope it wouldn't happen and hope that others would mention it if it did happen.
Nika found herself in a bit of an awkward silent moment after Jenny and the new boy spoke. "Um..so what shall we talk about now?" She played with her tail nervously as she tried to think of something as well.
Skoliro's gaze switched over to the cat girl. What powers did she have? He couldn't help but wonder. He had seen another like her, but he knew no ones powers were the same. "Um..so what shall we talk about now?" Crossing his arms he shifted his weight over to one leg and shrugged. Whatever you wish to talk about, m'lady?
"Ohh...umm...I'm not really sure. I'm kind of stumped at the moment." Nika giggled softly. She looked back and forth from Skoliro to Jenny and back again.
"What can you do?" It was the only thing she could think of to say.
"Ohh...umm...I'm not really sure. I'm kind of stumped at the moment." Skoliro steadied his gaze on Nika's cat ears for a moment then switched it back to her eyes. They were white, unlike the other cat-girl's he had seen, but relatively the same. "What can you do?" Well, since I'm part bat I can fly and sort of understand echolocation. I can also communicate with nocturnal animals. What about you?
"Wow, that sounds cool. Well, I'm stronger than a human girl my size and age because my muscles are more compact, I can hear as well as a cat and I can see in the dark." While Nika mentioned her hearing and sight she flicked her ears and opened her eyes really wide and looked around. She was intentionally trying to be funny in hopes of breaking the ice between the three of them a little more.
"Other than that I have super adrenaline that makes me waayy stronger and faster than I am now."
"Well, I'm stronger than a human girl my size and age because my muscles are more compact, I can hear as well as a cat and I can see in the dark.Other than that I have super adrenaline that makes me way stronger and faster than I am now."Skoliro smiled at the face she made, to ashamed to laugh. He was keeping one of his mutations a secret, one that he knew would at least make a difference in the conversation. But honestly, who wants to know that he fed on blood, human and mutant? Still, he was unsure. Maybe it was better to tell the whole truth... Well, there is...I have...nevermind. No, he couldn't do it, not now, not ever. If they ever found out it would have to be the hard-way,just like everyone else.
Finally, Fade spoke, breaking her awkward silence. "That's pretty cool powers for both of you guys." She smiled before a laugh escaped her lips while Nika looked around with wide eyes. "I'm hungry, anyone else hungry? We can head down to the kitchen or we can go outside or we can walk." She remained quiet for a second, but only a second "...or we can stand here and attempt to find interesting conversations between us three, but that's kinda weaving in and out of...understanding...?" She paused as she had lost herself in her own thoughts. "Wow, if you could understand what I just said, I wish to shake your hand because I have no clue what that meant..." ...silence...
