It was a warm and sunny afternoon, and Mark had just arrived to a coffee shop where he had plans to meet a girl. He couldn't quite remember her name, but he knew that she had given it to him. On the day they met, Mark had nagged her about given him her information, which she eventually did. But that's old news, a week's worth to be exact, and Mark was just exited to be here.
He had just gotten out of court so he was still wearing his work clothing. Also, he had won today's case and his client was proven not guilty to some theft charges. This only made Mark happier and he whistled as he entered the door. As he did, Mark stumbled over, tripping on his own shoelaces that had untied themselves during the walk here.
Now what did she look like again...?
Mark took a seat at a table and crossed on leg over the other taking a good look around. If she was here, he probably wouldn't notice because the image of her face escaped his mind. But as long as she remembered his face, everything would be fine. Looking at his watch, the time said it was currently 12:05.
Mark ordered a couple coffees, drinking slowly and savoring the aroma that emanated from them. They were somewhat soothing and Mark seemed to lose track of time as he drank. About 4 cups of coffee went by and the girl still didn't show. What a drag, but what if she was a little late, or got lost!? That wouldn't be good at all. Mark looked at his watch again, noting it was still 12:05.
Now why does that sound familiar...? Is something supposed to come on T.V. right now...?
Mark leaned his chair back and looked at a nearby clock. Something about it wasn't right, the hands were in the wrong places! It was a couple hours ahead of time! Mark stopped one of the waitresses and pointed out the flaw in their clock, unfortunately, their time wasn't the one that was wrong. Mark slammed his face into the table a let out a loud horrible groaning noise.
