The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Damian drove up to the large gates in his very expensive black jeep. He parked the vehicle and walked up to the gates and saw a small speaker with a button. He pressed the button and spoke into the speaker. "Damian Thomas looking for Tric. She knows who I am." He then backed away a few feet and waited.
Damian gazed up at the large manor. Just like Tric to be in charge of a bunch of Mutants in a large expensive house. he thought. He then looked around the front. It was damaged pretty badly. Maybe a battle or some rough training? He didn't know but knowing Tric's slightly eccentric nature, she could possibly be behind it.
Tricity happened to be be sunbathing at the time when her radioed crackled to life and Johnathon's voice came in. "Yea, some guy named Damian Thomas says he knows you and is at the front gate."
She immediatley picked up her head from the lawn chair and peered across the grounds, lifting her sunglasses for a better view. It was hard to make the person out from where she was, but she quickly gathered her long, peasant, white skirt and stood up to get a closer view. After adjusting her white bathing suit top, Tricity hurriedly made her way across the grass and saw the familiar face on the other side of the gate.
"Damian! Oh my God!" she exclaimed, opening the gate with a wave of her hand and picked up her skirt so she could jog over. Tricity wrapped her arms around her old school friend and gave him a huge hug. They hadn't seen each other since leaving Xavier's first school a long time ago. "How are you? I haven't seen you in years!"
Damian hugged Tricity back. " 'Ello Tric." he said with a smile. "Oh...I'm good. Reunited with my sister, had a son, mastered my powers...you?" he asked. He then looked at her. She looked the same....yet different. She looked a lot different than the young Tricity he knew....she was mature and pretty.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! A son?! I just had one myself, actually! Just a few months ago..." She ushered him inside onto the grounds and pushed the gate closed behind him. They walked across the grass some more as Tricity explained about the new birth of her son. "Anyway, I'm having issues with my supposed fiance that's no longer around anymore... I can't take it..." She ran her hand through her hair in frustration and anger at how long Orion had been away with no word. It was incredibly lonesome, especially with the newborn.
It suddenly occured to her how much she'd rambled on about her bottled up emotions on the whole situation. "I'm sorry," she said, hiding an embarassed smile. "I didn't mean to go off on a tangent like that. What about you and your son? Are the two of you going to be staying here?" she asked with a hopeful smile.
"Of course!" He replied with enthusiasm to he question of whether or not he would stay and live with his son at the mansion. "Oh, no problem, It's fun to here about others" he said with a smile. "My son is 6 months old and named Aaron. It has been found out that he possesses the mutant gene and will have powers. Seeing as he is only half-a-year old though, his powers have yet to show themselves." Damian then realized he had left his son in the jeep. He was afterall still a new, single, parent. He snapped his fingers and his son came floating towards them giggling and landed in Damian's arms. "Heyy ther buddy." he said in a childish voice.
Tricity's face softened as does most people when seeing babies. "Hi there cutie!" she said, taking his little hand and letting him wrap his fingers around her one. "Oh, he's adorable! Come on, let's get you inside and settled. You're welcome to stay, of course."
Damian smiled. He was happy that Tricity had allowed him to stay. He nodded and started walking towards the Mansion. He looked around and smiled. It looked just like the old mansion Xavier ran. His eyes started to slightly water due to the memories that brought up. He extended the baby for Tricity to hold. "Can you please hold him for a sec? I have something to give you."
Tricity took the baby in her arms with a look of surprise. "For me? What on earth are you giving me something for?" she asked with a curious smile on her face.
Damian dug in his pocket and pulled out three things. The first was a check for 500, 000 dollars. The second was a picture of Him, Tricity, Xavier, and a bunch of other people from the old days. And finally, the third was a picture of Damian and Tricity when they were a lot younger. He smiled as he took those out and exchanged them for the baby. "Well, the money is from selling my house and the left-overs from my parents' sold house and their will." he said. His parents had did not to long ago and he was still a little sad.
