The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Well you both can have access to our Danger Room to make sure we keep your mutations under check and proceed cautiously in finding out more about them." Another unknown came over to them and introduced himself as Ted. "Well hello, Ted. Welcome to the mansion." She picked up another packet and handed it to him. "Have you spoken to anyone else about moving in?"
Ted accepted the packet and answered her question, "Yeah, I spoke to..err...what's her name...Fiona and the doctor, and I've been shown a room. I also met some guy who was being shown round by Fiona, no idea who he was but he's a nice guy all the same." Ted quickly leafed through the packet and was relieved to spot a map. If only I had one of these sooner... ah well, nothing I can do about it.

"Danger room??" Daisake flipped throught the packet quickly thinking there was something in it about the danger room."We are not in danger here are we? And why is it called a room?" he says in a sarcastic knowing there was no danger here. he was just acting silly and being himself.
Tricity smiled and pointed down the hallway where it was located. "That room helps us understand our mutations better and helps to push us to our limits as well. We never really do any of the dangerous stuff without someone else around to spot. Though, the room also has high tec simulations so you can practice fighting techniques," she explained, waving to a few of the older students who passed by and checked out the newcomers. "Do you have any other questions?"
"So in the Danger Room, we can go all out with our powers without putting anyone else in danger?" That would be perfect, just the way to learn how to control his mutation. He slipped the map he had spotted into his pocket, and then began leafing through to see what else he could find. (OOC: is there a set list of what's in the newbie packet or can I make it up as I go along providing I don't do silly things with it?)

Daisake looked at the packet one last time then back at tricity."Yeah i do. do you have books? you know reading books to pass the time." Dai waited to here her answer. Since it was a school he hoped they would have a library opened to all students there. he hadnt read a book in days because of his traveling.
"Yes, you can go out with your powers, provided you don't hurt anyone else. The room is like a containment cell anyway with people watching you from the observation room above to keep a close eye." She ushered them further down the hallway toward the stairs to lead them to the dorms. Just as Tricity was about to explain the living situation, Daisake inquired about books. "Oh yes, plenty. I love books myself and thus, I'm in the library when I have free time... which is really never anymore. But yes, we have a library, lounges, and computer rooms throughout the mansion. There's at least three bookcases to every hallway as it were."
She pointed upstairs and to the left. "Guys' dorms on the left, girls' on the right. There are plenty of empty rooms if you'd like one to yourself. I must head off for now. The kitchen is back down the hallway and is always open if you are hungry. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask someone wandering around. My room is in the middle hallway where the older mutants live, along with the infirmary. Feel free to visit if you have any more questions. Hope you find everything you need!" Tricity gave them a quick wave and headed down the hallway.
Ted thanked Tricity before she headed off, leaving them alone. "So, what you guys doing now? I've already got a room, it's that one there." He pointed down to where it was. "So don't go picking that one," he said with a grin. "I'm taking a look at the danger room, either of you wanna come after you've picked a room?"

"Yeah i think i will check it out to, i will just find a room first" Daisake walks off and picks a room with only room for one. he walks down the long hallway looking for a empty space.
"Ok, I'll see you down there." Ted whipped out his map, feeling very pleased at having one. He worked out how to get to the danger room, and headed that way. It wasn't long until he found it. (OOC: i'll continue it in the danger room, anyone feel free to drop by)
