The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Daria shrugged. "I don't know much about the old school. I assume it's just reaching its end and Xavier can't do it all by himself. None od the old staff is here, Storm, Wolverine, Cyclops-its all new. If he sent you here, this is where you should be." she grinned.
"Would you like a single bedroom or a double?"
Her tail swished back and forth as she walked beside him. "Don't worry about it, if you want to talk to Xavier find Tricity, she's the one who can contact him."
(Oops..,i already made a room is that alright?) Terran walked with her. "It doesn't really matter." He said to her. "I guess I'll be fine 'ere..I think..." Terran picked up his pace, his bag back in his hand. (hey is my av or sig showiing at all?)

(neither is showing. The room situation is perfectly fine. Just say this happened before.)
Daria smiled, her ears flickering. "So...got any family? Parents? how old are you anyway?" she wasn't asking to be nosy, she was interested and happy with whatever info he'd give her.
(alright...in a min or two i'm goin' 2 a library so i'll continue on one of there comps...)
Terran frowned, and rubbed the burn mark. 'Family...' Terran thought.."None.." The subject of family was always a sore topic to him. He seemed to be thinking deeply to himself. Then he answered her other question. "By this September...I'll be thirty-three..." He was lying of course. He usually kept his true age of 237 to himself.

You're older than I thought." Daria said, not pressing into the topic of his family. "So if you so choose to pursue academics you actually don't have to fill out that particular form. The school will sponsor you to take classes at the university fo your choice. I'm taking classes at NYU." she offered.
( Wahoooo! I'm Back mi ami!) Terran smiled. "I wasn't plannin' on going back to school. But if I am told to do so, I will." He replied. "The room you offered, it's close?" Terran asked. He could feel his arm beginnning to become numb from his bag's weight.

(yay!!!)
Daria opened the doors to the mansion and they ascended the stairs. "It's close. Do you have anymore questions? Will there be anymore luggage coming in?" she stopped in front of his door. For a minute she seemed like she was in deep concentration and then, quite suddenly in the palm of her hand appeared a pair of silver keys.
Terran nodded. Things here wouldn't exactly be what Terran thought of "home". What he thought of "home" was... well he didn't know that himself that was either, but all the same the mansion seemed normal at most. For now anyways. "No, No questions. Not now anyways." He reached out to grab the keys. "Except...these classes you mentioned...what sort o' classes would you reccomend?" He thought he would be bothering her with all the questions he supplied her but it would be neccessary to learn these things so he would know them for future refference. (they are working...right?)

(yeah the pics are working)
Daria shrugged. "Oh it's not mandatory for anyone over 18." she assured. "As far as reccomendations I encourage you to study whatever you want to, take full advantage of the funding the school is willing to give. Maybe after you stay here for a while and see what it's like you'll decide what you want to do with yourself while you're here and then decide what you want to study. That's how I went about it.
He nodded. "I see. I don' 'ave a roomate...i 'ope...." He opened the door to the room, the door creaking. Terran walked inside the room, taking in his surroundings. It wasn't that bad. At least it wasn't as bad as his last place. He chuckled a glutteral laugh at the thought of his old place. It had been filled with roaches. Heck the last resident had even died in it. Terran had found the body rotting inthe bathtub. Terran shuddered. "Yeah this'll do. Thanks.." He walked over to a Covered window. "Nice to let in some light..." He said, pulling back the marroon colored curtains. He turned back to her, smiling. "Was there anythin' else I needed to see? Or Answer?"

Daria leaned against the door frame. "Nope. You're free to live and let live. Just fill those papers out asap and hand them in when you get the chance. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own food, a cafeteria in the school. There is a gym so you can work out. And the danger room is open to adults, children are to be supervised but you may feel free to practice when you want."
She stood up straight. "enjoy our stay, we're pleased to have you and I hope you feel at home." she smiled and turned to go.
