Character's real name: Fiona Ciapercelli
Codename/Alias: Siren
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Nationality/Ethnicity: Italian, Russian, Spanish.
Birthplace: Rome, Italy
Personality: Fiona Ciapercelli is a quiet, although tempestuous young woman. She is very polite and mannerly, however she can really be absentminded when it comes to the sensitivity of others. Possessing a very good sense of humor, she can laugh at herself easily--but paradoxically also has a sense of pride in herself at times which she needs to work on breaking down. She is quite the heartbreaker at times (with both sexes, however she tends to prefer the female sex due to her ability) and can charm people easily; she has quite a conversational streak. Confident, self-assured, and yet sensitive, she can be a little unpredictable at times.
Edit:[/b] As of late, Fiona has been a tad more reclusive. She feels as though normal people will abandon her, so she tends to take to mutants instead.
Notes (Hobbies, Phobias, Worries, ect.): Hobby-wise she dabbles in a bit of everything; music, art, dance, drama, writing--it's all her style. However, she does have a preference over dance and martial arts (something she learned from her circus performer Russian mother) and can usually be found perfecting her dance styles (professional grade in various genres--particularly tango from her father).
Her biggest phobias are anything medical, from medicinal practitioners themselves to the instruments one uses in the medical field. The mere thought of her being in such injury that medical attention should be needed can send Fiona into an intense, blind fear and cause her to leave a situation without thinking. She doesn't trust in modern medicine at all.
Fiona Ciapercelli isn't one to worry much, however she does worry about her future quite often. She also worries about herself and her health, and strives to keep her body and mind in top condition.
Allegiance (Good, Bad, or Neutral): While starting out as a completely good character, Fiona is now Neutral. Anything she says or does is done simply for her own means. While she won’t deliberately do something horrible to someone without decent provocation, she won’t go out of her way to do something nice for just anyone.
Everyday clothing: Fiona has quite the closet! However, in everyday situations she is most likely seen in black/blue/olive hipster jeans or a loose and airy and colorful Indian patterened skirt or skirt-pant. On top she can be seen sporting fitted, thin, cotton shirts, (typically white) that she will at sometime during the day tie up to midriff. If not the usual, the top can vary to black spaghetti strap type tops that she will most likely wear with her more colorful bottoms. When in jeans or any casual pant, she will be seen in boots (typically rugged leather combat boots) and when in her Indian-like attire said boots will be black sandals (thong type). On jeans she always wears her thick leather belt with a quite large Gypsy looking medallion as a buckle on it. She always sports three plain onyx rings on each hand (a gift from her mother), a leather cord with a rectangular prism around her neck, and silver earrings (hoops or some various dangling chains), and the various jewels for her numerous piercings.
Uniform (Optional. Required if eventually becoming part of the X-Men): Fiona Ciapercelli will need something she can show her physique in! Her uniform should be skin tight, jet-black leather pants, hipster in style, with intricate cuts in the fabric all through it except in the crotch area (gotta have some modesty) which resemble the curving and wayward lines of an ivy plant's constricting vines. Upper torso is a matching black long-sleeved light leather very low v-neck top with a high collar in back and the same intricate cuts all over it. In the area where her nipples are a pattern of black silk will be underneath the exposing cuts, and she will have a matching black waist cincher over her waist. Her hands will be covered by wrist length light material black lace gloves and on her feet will be Victorian-esque ankle length lace up boots, in black leather to match. For cold weather she may wear a floor length coat which hugs her physique--black velvet with faux fur around the hood and linings.
Pajamas: Plaid style very baggy pajama pants (typically meant for the male gender) and a comfortable top whether it be an oversized tee or a spaghetti strap top. Occasionally a slinky and provocative long nightie in silk can be seen, but only on her more moody and seductive nights.
Hair color and style: A blend of reds. She has it waist length and in choppy layers when straight and loose waves when left naturally. She either keeps her hair loose, messily braided or tailed.
Eye color: Light brown or almost amber in certain lighting.
Height: A moderate 5' 7".
Build: Slender, incredibly toned, and beautifully proportioned, she maintains a voluptuous figure.
Scars: Ciapercelli only has one scar, however it is scarification that she received when she was 16 from friends in her clique. The design is that of a faerie on the back of her left calf.
Edit:[/i] She now has one long scar on her right arm from a botched Training Room session from her days as an X-Men trainee.
Tattoos: Various designs on her back and upper arms, as well as on the backs of her thighs and side of her right thigh. These designs are of the Buddhist chakras with swirling lines and various Buddhist teachings on emotions.
Piercings: Three basic ear piercings on both ear lobes, an industrial bar on the cartilage of her right ear, conch and tragus on left ear as well. Her nipples, bellybutton, and tongue are pierced as well.
Description of ability(ies):
--First Ability: Fiona can charm and almost seduce those around her. While at first only being able to charm the male sex, she can now charm both sexes equally. This charm causes the person charmed to trust her, like her, and even love her in some situations. Those charmed typically do anything that Fiona pleases, and rarely disagree with her. She can also manipulate the emotions of the person she is focused on to match the emotions she is portraying.
--Second Ability: Fiona has the ability to sense the emotions of others. These emotions are picked up by her like an empath would pick up emotions, with one major difference: when the person Fiona is sensing is having an extreme set of emotions, she receives mental vibrations that vibrate so finely that they become pictures in her mind of whatever the person is thinking about. This process is much like when a blind person “sees” sound.
Cons (weaknesses) of ability(ies):
--When she charms people, Fiona tends to lose control of the situation after a while. Sometimes, if she’s not careful, she charms people in over their heads. This effect causes the previous loving entrancement to fade, and a bleak rage to stem towards Fiona instead. Fiona must break line of sight with the person she charmed within ten minutes, otherwise the rage roots itself in the psyche and lasts twenty-four hours.
--When Fiona is modifying one’s emotions, she has to be feeling the emotion for it to pass into her target, like an alignment. It’s stressful on her psychologically, as she has to control herself and remind herself that what she’s feeling is all in her head.
Fighting style (if any): Fiona fights in a modern kickboxing style, with integrated movements of Aikido, Judo, Brazillian Ju-Jitsu, Kung-Fu, and the fight-dance, Capoeira.
History of your character: Born to a Russian mother and an Italian father, a harsh temperament was sure to boil into Fiona Ciapercelli at an early age. Her parents, Mila and Felix, were in the Russian circus since before she was born. Her mother was a fire eater, sword fighter and contortionist; her father a trapeze artist and avid dancer. Little Fiona was their pride and joy and they soon taught her everything they knew. At the age of eight Fiona was allowed to perform alongside her parents in dangerous pyrotechnical acts, trapezial feats high above the crowd, sword play, fantastic gymnastics, and a little tango here and there. Finally, at twelve, she could perform on her own, and began to do so with spunk and charisma--she was a crowd favorite! A happy lifestyle with thrills and a loving--if eccentric--family, Fiona couldn't ask for more; however at 17 she wanted an education. So, Fiona set on the task of finding a tutor to educate her about literary works, mathematical equations and the like, technology, etc. Apparently her parents had been thinking along the same lines for on the eve of her eighteenth birthday they presented her with the choice of leaving to an Academy for Young Ladies somewhere in Sweden. An education, yes, but Academy for Young Ladies? Sweden? What about her life as a performer? What about her parents? And for Christ's sake, she didn't even speak Swedish!
After telling her parents how she felt about this, they listened and thought things through. Finally, Mila's Spanish mother, Isabella Montes De Oca, came to mind. A shrewd, highly educated, and deeply predjudiced old woman, Mila feared for her daughter's sake and tried to think of an alterior course of action. However, in the long run it was useless, and upon presenting this option to her daughter Fiona rose to the occasion, severely doubting the old woman's bite. Her own grandmother couldn't be worse than some bizarre women's institution, right? Wrong. Fiona arrived at her grandmother's house in splendid Madrid in her usual state--looking like a circus performer--and the utter noise of disgust that her grandmother emitted could have been heard back in Russia. After getting through initial differences (such as Fiona ironically not speaking Spanish, never having gone to school, and being a dirty circus gypsy) they finally settled down. Fiona was plunged into a rigorous training which included the basics: literary history, arithmetic, geography, technology of the highest degree; however it also included charms, manners, refinement and poise.
Isabella had a friend's grandson aid her own pitful granddaughter in the method of education. Having both of them sit down at the table as usual one night to observe Fiona's table manners, everything went to plan until Raphael (the one whom was "testing" Fiona) fell to his knees before Fiona and admitted pure and utter love. After the scene that this caused, Fiona wondered just what could have set him off... Maybe when she laughed a little too hard at his joke while he was talking? Needless to say, this wasn't the only time this had ever occurred, simply the first time so strongly. Isabella however, figured Fiona was ready to exit as a wonderful example of a modern debutante! Fiona was 21 years old.
Fiona had sort of always known about her ablility to charm the opposite sex. It had begun when she struck puberty at thirteen and ever since had been able to persuade the circushands to do whatever she pleased. She could also charm women but never to the same hypnosis as men, and it required genuine work--which is why she almost preferred women, however she always hoped to find a strong enough man to resist her wills and give her a genuine challenge. After that night with Raphael's display, she needed to examine those abilities farther, she knew that, but where to go? So she spent the next 6 months researching until she recieved a mysterious letter about Professior Xavier's sister school and immediately set off to find it.
Edit: After living with the X-Men at the Mansion for a long while, she got news of the fact that her grandmother was deathly sick. Immediately rushing to her, she left the Mansion during Iris’ rampage, only to find that her grandmother was already dead when she arrived. In a fit of hysteria, she made to contact her parents, but each time has been unsuccessful. A year has passed since then, with no word from her family. Assuming the estrangement is due to her revealing that she’s a mutant, she has harbored irrational feelings of resentment towards her family and the average human in general, thinking them to be closed minded people with no compassion for even their loved ones. These feelings, in turn, have led to her moving into The Sanctuary, home of the infamous Order.
Sample RP: Finally the day came for Fiona to leave her grandmother Isabella's beautiful hacienda for something new, something better. After having found out through word of mouth and an off letter she recieved from a stranger about Xavier's Sister School for Mutants, she knew she had to try and stop there to perhaps learn about her powers... And if they let her, perhaps stay. She knew she couldn't return to the glaring lights of the circus after her education with Grandmother Isabella, and she knew she would die out mentally if she stayed here, in the hacienda. So, after being spurred on by these thoughts, she quickly sat up in her white four poster bed and rummaged through her nightstand's drawer to find a piece of paper and a ballpoint pen. She listed everything she would need and soon was zig-zagging all through her room trying to get a few outfits ready for her travels. After donning tight black jeans, a black blouse, her trusty black combat boots, signature jewelry, and belt she figured she was ready to go.
"Abuela! Me voy por unos dias, pero regreso cuando pueda!" she shouted through the hallways alerting her grandmother that she was leaving but would return as soon as possible. Her grasp of Spanish had really taken off after the second year of her grandmother's instruction. After checking through that she had her large bag with a few changes of clothes in it, her money, her cellphone and charger, and the hygienic basics, she set off for Xavier's school where it was rumored to be. Hopefully she would find it easily and the trek wouldn't be too ardious.
Stepping outside, she left to the airport to board a plane towards the school's location, and once she was near there she was just going to have to find it on her own. Hopefully she would find someone to help her along the way, but what were the chances she would encounter another Mutant willing and able? First and foremost, she was almost scared to never find anything at all. After stepping foot on the plane and sitting, she drifted off into a slumber, wondering where her life was about to take her.
