The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Night time fell over the Mansion, it was probably closing in on little Millie's bedtime, but when she peered out of the window of her little room, she saw little fireflies hovering around the Mansion Grounds. "MERLIN! Tere are other glowing ting outtide!" She squealed before pouncing on her backpack. Hurrying as fast as her little fingers could, she unzipped the back pack and pulled out her butterfly catcher kit. A few minutes later, the front doors to the Mansion burst open...well, not really, actually it was more like the doorknob rustled. The frustrated toddler jumped as high as she could until standing on her tippy toes to open the door. With as much strength as she could gather, she heaved and ho'ed until she opened the door. Bad manners, she was too small to close the door behind her, but it was a warm night, so who would care?

Little Millie skipped out of the Mansion, Merlin tied to her back by a belt she put on, it was Merlin's To-Go Belt. Skipping and humming, she hustled up to the pack of fireflies and began frantically waving around her net. After about 2 minutes of what looked like jumping jacks, Millie caught a firefly and she bent down to put it in her butterfly cage. First glower caught! With excitement, her skin began to glow softly, brightening the night sky in her dance routine with the insects. "Merlin the Wonder Teddy, why do tey glow from teir bottomt?" She giggled before continuing her jumping jacks, squealing in excitement with every new firefly she captured.
