The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Kasumi looks around she did not have time for everything to come clear to her mind. A fight she has never been in the middle of one till a hand comes slapping her acrossed her cheek. Soon pain and stinging comes she falls on her back. She stands there as tears weals up in her eyes. She did not do anything wrong! Why is she getting hit form this!
Soon a purple ooz starts to seep form her skin as she yells to Bear "Stand back!" With her fear comes her poison she will knock out the group that Bear is flinging. She gets to her feet were the person hit her Kasumis cheek is bright red hurts like hell. Yet her being scared. She does a spin as she sends the poison on the people that wants to keep fighting that will keep them down for an hour or 2 at the least.
Soon a few of them or down. She will have to take it easy on how much she uses this stuff is linked to her blood. So if she uses to much she can harm herself also. Kasumi hates fighting so in away her powers are perfect for her. Soon a mad man comes near her. Kasumi narrows her eyes she doges the man keeping him just out of his reach. Shin trained her well. Soon she hits him back a few times then she gives him a face full of her poison. She nods to herself as she looks around "We have to get out of here!" She does not have enough in her to keep this up and knock out everyone in this place.
The “getting out of here”? That sounded good. To the little cat who had just made a sizable puddle where Captain Max had set him down, anyway. And lo, there was crashing and throwing and involuntary flight lessons and feet, so many dangerous feet. The tomcat poofed as that last set came too close for its stomping-level comfort. Higher. He had to get higher.
Bear! Bear couldn’t feel pain, right? He certainly seemed to be on that super-mode of his, just now. Bear! Bear was a kind of tree, wasn’t it?
It was now. Or at least it was if Bear let the ginger-stripped tom cat ever-so-delicately claw its way up his pants, back, and onto a safe perch on his shoulder. But then, more sober cats than Calley had failed to climb people befor—
GAH!
Those explosions would be prettier if they weren’t arching alarmingly close to them. What was Welltain Maxcap, some kind of peg-armed lightning rod? If the cat was on Bear’s shoulder, it would be huddling around his neck at full fur foof. If he wasn’t, he’d be doing the same under the nearest bar stool. Or maybe next to Meld’s legs. She seemed to be huddling pretty well, herself. The nice girl seemed to be agreeing: the getting out of here. Yes. For all furry and fearful things, the getting out of here was the way to go.
With everything currently going on in the bar, Bear heard one thing "Stand back!" He recognized the voice and didnt know what to really do or how to react but his mind told him one thing with those words. And that was to duck, so he quickly dropped his feet out from beneath him and fell to his belly, with this the purple oozing from the girl flung out to the men and Bear rolled away, hoping not to have any of that touch him for fear of it being some sort of acid that could eat at his skin and he wouldnt feel it. "Let's get out of here!" As Bear was saying this he saw Captain Max bring his arm into the air and suddenly the power went out in the Bar and Bear couldnt see anything except the light glint off of Melds feet and the forms around Captain Max.
Bear quickly jumps to his feet and looks around at the people around him before moving over to Meld and reaching his hand out for her. "We need to move people, this fight is only going to get worse and Captain Max over there is setting up our route for escape!" Bear quickly looks around the room and hopes to have his companions grab onto him in some way. "If you want to get out of here, grab my shirt or my hand or something... And we'll get moving.." With that Bear quickly moved through the bar, following the glowing arm of Captain Max before passing him up and heading out of the bar as quickly as he could.
"Alright... Did we lose anybody?" After getting outside Bear paused a moment and looked around him, hoping that everyone was able to get out with him, no matter what damage they may have done to his body or arms or hands or anything. A clawed cat could have climbed up his back on his way out and it wouldnt have mattered, a metal hand could have dug holes into his own hand and he would not have cared in the least.
((I dont care what happens to Bear in the sense of if people grab onto him on his way out or not... You can do whatever you want... As I said in the last part of my post))

Meld struck another of the rioting mutants with her metal hand just as the lights flickered and died. Which either meant, of course, that there had been damage to the circuits of the place, or some mutant had some sort of power to affect electricity. She was thankful for her electronic eye flesh meld that allowed her to see better than almost any other mutant or human in the place. "Damn!" she swore, though likely not loud enough to be heard over the chaos and noise of the mob. The darkness might help her to get out of this unscathed but she was pretty sure the others wouldn't be so fortunate. And because of that it would probably be up to her to try and get the others out in one piece. "Damn!" she swore again, louder this time.
Meld took a frantic look around, trying to spot her companions and see how they were fairing. She saw Kasumi first, as the woman yelled to get out of her. Meld ran up to her. She seemed to be holding her own for now but didn't strike Meld as the combative type. "Take my hand and I'll lead you out of here." She looked around for the others, having problems finding Calley but she did manage to spot Bear and Crystal Arm. Hopefully the cat boy could take care of himself, she didn't have time to keep looking. Just as Meld was about to run up to Crystal Arm to lead him out as well, Bear grabbed her arm in an effort to help her escape.
"Max! Follow us," she yelled as she ran behind Bear. Meld cringed as she was a beer bottle smashed over Bear's back as he cleared a path through the crowed of people for them and Meld herself narrowly avoided being hit by a blind punch. He mowed over at least two people on their escape but finally they managed to reach the relative calm of the city outside of the bar.
"I'm still here," Meld assured him, carefully removing her metal hand from his. She hoped she hadn't accidentally punctured his hand with any of her blades. Normally she was careful enough that it wasn't an issue, but between her lack of feeling and the adrenaline and chaos of the brawl, there was a very real possibility that she might have done so. And, of course, Bear felt no more pain than she did while he was in that state so he wouldn't have been able to say anything had she done so. "Are we missing anyone?" She really hoped she wouldn't have to go back in there to get one of their lost companions.
So, it seemed that out of his little group people were shouting. He heard something about duck and watched the shadowy figure in front of him, the pretty green spotted girl, throw a bunch of gunk into the darkness. His crystal arm, previously dark, had become a gentle white, now shining in the darkness. He shoved his fist into the air, like a flashlight, looking for his friends. He spotted Bear, his huge form plowing through the fighters like a football player. Unfortunately, being the only one lit up meant he was easy prey. His legs were knocked out from under him and he was barreling back behind the bar, landing with a thump and a groan.
After trying hard not to rub his cheek into glass, he get to his knees and stood up, peering over the wood. Good, he can make a run for it. He dived over the bar and smashed his way through the writhing people, throwing his arm back and forth to smack any one in his way. Electricity was humming in his fingers and his bicep was burning to release it. Finally, he burst outside, just as Meld had finished saying something. He cast her a dark, dark look. In his drunken state, he swayed slightly and did a squinty thing.
"Alright... I think... I think that now I should go home... Unless, Miss Controller of the universe, you have... anything... anything against that?" Max paused for a breathe and threw out his still clenched fist. Lightning shot from his knuckles, hitting the side of a building next to the Evolution bar. Cracks appeared in the wall and the outside of a room fell away. Then, with a huff, he turned his shoulders on the group that had caused a bar fight (Or had caused him to cause a bar fight) and strolled away.
It would have worked better if the Pirate hadn't suddenly loosed his footing and staggered down the alley, between Evolution and the building he had just ruined. He tripped over a piece of rubble and landed on a large collection of trash. He groaned, wishing to god that that hadn't happened. Max pulled himself out of the garbage cans, knocking over one of them and smashing a bottle. Now, he felt really down in the dumps. Heh. Dumps...

Kasumi soon seen a bright light she lets out a yelp as she covers her eyes with one arm soon she hears Meld as she nods then Bear she is soon our of the bar with the rest of the people. She blinks a few times as she looks at Bear "I am ok just my cheek is sore that is all..." She shakes her head "Thank you Meld." She smiles to her softly. She was not sure what happened in there alot of drunk mad people that is all that she can sum it up to that is all. Kasumi has never been to a bar and she will never go back to one if they were like this.
She soon sees the blood as she makes her way to Bear soon the cut on his arm as she gaps "My god... you will need to get stitches on that.. be happy that I know how to do that." She looks at him and smiles "Thank you all of you. Wow what a night eh?" She does not know what to think of it she never knew she would be in a bar fight there is a read hand print were she was slapped but that was all. She did not seem to be in pain it was a good thing. She does not know what to do she took a cab here "Well were do we go form here?" Ksaumi crosses her arms over her chest as she shivers some trying to warm herself up she hates being in the cold with a dress on.
Bear lets out a light sigh as he spins around, looking at all of the people, counting heads before pausing. "Ok... Where's the cat?" Bear frantically looked around, not wanting to have lost his roommate, just before he moves to head into the bar, he hears a mew from behind him and a cat climbs up his back and onto his shoulder, wobbling and not knowing what to do. "Whew... Ok we got everyone..." Bear smiled at Meld lightly before turning to Sumi as she approached his blood soaked arm. "Heh, no worries, it doesnt hurt right now..." Bear slowly lifted his hands up and looked over his body quickly, noticing a few slight gashes on his hand from Meld.
After letting out a soft laugh from the revelation of having been cut open by his best friend accidentally, Bear pats the cat on the head lightly before pulling his coat off and handing draping it over Sumis shoulders. As he does this, Captain Maxwellington begins to stumble off and Bear sighs. "What do we do about him? Should we go get him?" He looks around at the rest of the people in the group before walking up to Meld and aiming to place his hands on her arms lightly, giving her a gentle rub of the arms, Bear smiles, hoping to have been a bit of a service to his friend before looking off after Max and letting out another sigh.
"Alright... I think we should walk Captain Max back to his hotel, then we'll get Kasumi home and head to the Sanctuary... It's been a long night... I think it's bout time we head in anyways..." Bear smiles lightly, picking up his pace and giving chase to Captain Maxwellington, as he pops around the corner, he sees Max stumbling around in a pile of trash before he moves in to help steady him. "Alright man, we'll get ya home safe, I promise."

Meld looked around, counting head and ensuring that everyone had gotten out of the bar safely and more or less in one piece. It took her a moment to spot the cat boy but it seemed as if everyone had made it out alive. Meld did a quick scan of her own body, ensuring that she had taken no serious wounds, but everything seemed ok on that front as well. That's when Meld noticed Crystal Arm stagger down the alley. She swore to herself, knowing that they would probably have to go after to in order to make sure he got home safely and in one piece. Even with his power, it wasn't safe for a visible drunken mutant to be wandering the streets alone.
"Your welcome," Meld distractedly replied to Kasumi, still staring after Crystal Arm. She was surprised when Bear put his arms on hers, trying to warm her up. She tolerated it for a few moments, slightly uncomfortable and unsure how to react. He was her best friend and all, but it was just a little strange. Finally she sighed and moved away, taking a step into the alley. "We should probably go after Crystal Arm so he doesn't hurt himself."
"Kasumi we'd be happy to go with you as well to ensure you get home safely, or wherever you want to go." Meld turned back to the alley. "Crystal Arm, where do you think you're going?" she called to him. Then she saw him stumble and fall into a pile of trash and groaned. This was all ready a long night and it seemed like it was only going to get longer. Hopefully he would make this easy on them but somehow she had her doubts.
There was a banana on his head. He could feel the slimy, greasy, shudder worthy thing and instantly hated it. Carefully, with his large crystal hand, he attempted to removed it, before flinging it wildly off. It stuck to the wall, which made his stomach do a somersault of revulsion. The only way it could be worse was if... There was a squeak and something moved in the bag under Maxwell's back. That is... nasty... Max squirmed off the bags, landing heavily on his left elbow and pushing himself onto his knees. Then he was aware of the ole' gang behind him.
A large octopus then suddenly landed on his shoulder. It was bloody and probably left a stain on his coat, but it stopped him from wobbling dangerously and falling over. He followed the long, tube of flesh up to an elbow, and realized it was bears arm. He heard him say something about home and instantly pined for the green rolling hills of England. Or what ever. And then a chill went down his back when he heard... her.
>>"Crystal Arm, where do you think you're going?"
Now, he forced himself to his feet, lifting his head and turning his nose with disgust upon the chicken-footed woman. "I, do not plan on telling you of all people. In fact! At this very moment I could not think of a single thing that would make me choose to confide in you!" He turned far too quickly and felt quite dizzy for the moment. "And right now!" He called, waving his crystal arm. "I am going to... Throw Up!"
Maxi fell to his knee's. He coughed once, and then let forth the Alcohol that he had collected in his stomach. What had burned on the way in was really on fire as it came out again. And the force that he wretched sent it quite a distance. Even as he felt disgust about the thought floating through his head (And the yellow substance floating in the gutter) somewhere, some-when, someone would be given that at least a 8.6.

Kasumi rubs her cheek soon her cold body welcomes the heat of Bears jacket as she smiles some "Thank you. I can Tag along.." She smiles some as she nods "I know Aura already I will like to drop in and say hi to her." She looks around for Maxwell as she hears him to speek to Meld she shakes her head softly. She slips the cote on as she walks to Maxwell's side she gets under his non crystal arm "Where ever you are going let me help you get there.. you had alot to drink and I do not want you to get hurt on the way there."
Kasumi gives a gentle smile as she nods. She is not sure why he does not like Meld but she knows Meld meant well soon she looks to Meld "I know you meant well he is just taking it hard that is all." She nods softly as she smiles "Meld did not mean to be so harsh Maxwell.. she does care she just wants the best for you. That is all. We all do."
Kasumi nods to Meld as she smiles huge to her knowing that this will help some. Kasuni knows everyone has there own way about things. Meld has fire and passion about it. While Kasumi is soft and caring she is much like a mother in things like this. But her mother and father went about things soft and caring that is were she got it form.
The speed at which Bear was walking and Captain Maxwell was stumbling and Meld was being rational and Kasumi was... caring... it made the little cat’s head spin, and his body wobble precariously over his perch on Bear’s shoulder. Fortunately, a few claws through the man’s shirt—and possibly the top layers of his skin—fixed that balancing problem. The Sanctuary, huh? His whiskers fanned down at his own body. Not white, check. No black spots, got it. And absolutely no nineteen-year-old boy form. All right. He’d past the first three checks on his ‘Would Isabel stab him on sight’ list with flying colors. To the Sanctuary, then!
...After the Captain was done Pollock painting his shoes.
