The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Millie looked over at Emerald and saw her hanging on the monkey bars. "I think you can hold it for 500 tecond! And you're fate won't turn purple!" Millie squealed before she slid down the slide and stood next to Janie.
Mike grinned as he watched the girls playing. "This is your fate," he teased, looking over at Tricity as they watched to make sure the kids didn't try anything too stupid.
After around 12 minutes Emerald's legs loosened and she fell to the ground. She stood up woobily, trying to regain her composure. She looked like a drunken monkey as she staggered. "Weeee look at all the pretty stars!" Emerald graoned before falling flat on her back.
Off to the side, visible around the corner of the mansion, was a large telephone pole that had been knocked down in the Sentinel attack, and since had been replaced. It was now standing up with a Sentinel's head mounted on it, and a sign was somewhat visible on it. If one moved enough to see the front of it, they would see that it said "INTRUDERS BEWARE!" in large letters, even though it wasn't visible from outside the grounds.

"WOW! That wat WAY more than 500 tecond!" Millie squealed in excitement as she clapped her hands together. "I wat cloter than you." She said, rubbing it in Janie's face.
"Nu-uh!" Janie snorted, putting her fists on her hips. But before they could argue over who was closer, Emerald muttered something about stars and fell over. Both girls ran over to Emerald and knelt down next to her.
"Wow! Emmy, you ok?" Millie asked, poking her arm.
"Emmy, how many fingers am I holding up?" Janie asked, holding up 3.
"3 fingers," Emerald mumbled groggilly, sitting up. She was still slightly dazed but she could still count. Emerald looked at Janie and Millie for a moment and then decided to,
"Race you kids to the slide!" Emerald grinned evilly before taking off to the slide. Janie tugged on Millies arm and started to drag her in order for them to beat the wolf girl to the slide

"Yea, this has been my fate since I was about 17 and went to Charles' mansion for help," she said to Mike. As the girls romped around on the playground, Tricity saw a glimpse of metallic shining. It made her turn her head as the sun reflected off of it. "What the hell is that?"
She walked across the grass and looked around the corner of the building where she saw the sentinel's mangled head on the pole. "MIKE!" Tricity turned around with her hands on her hips. "What in the hell is this??"
Janie stood erect and pointed her finger at Tricity "OOO, you said a bad word, Miss Tipper!!" She then put both her hands over her mouth.

"New landscaping?" Mike suggested, giving her a 'what can you do?' grin and shrug. "And you really need to watch that language, mother-to-be," he teased.

Millie stopped dead in her tracks and gasped, looking at Tricity. "Mit Tipper taid the 'h' word, the 'h' word, the 'h' word." She chanted, pointing at her. But then Millie raised an eyebrow in confusion. This question had been bugging her for a very long time and she wanted to know the answer. After all, Millie had never seen a pregnant lady, so it was completely logical to Millie that Tricity just weighed alot.
"Do you eat alot of tweet, Mit Tipper?" She asked in a completely innocent voice. If she seemed rude, she didn't mean to, she just didn't know why Tricity was so big. It was so comfusing.
Emerald started chanting with Millie before hearing Millies innocent little question. She nearly fell over as she burst out with laughter. "Looks like Milllie was never taught the birds and the bees!"

"Yea, it's a bit too early for the birds and the bees, Em and Mike," she said, turning to face her teammate, "take that thing off of there, right now.
Tricity walked over to Millie and smiled as she bent lower to talk to her. "Well, God knows I eat a lot nowadays, but actually, I'm pregnant. I have a baby in my stomach and should be, well...coming out soon.

Mike chuckled as he waved a hand, the Sentinel head floating easily off the pole, and all of it soaring across the grounds to join the rest of the Sentinel wreckage he'd gathered together. "Aw, come on. The Junior High kids got a kick out of it," he teased, turning to join the group again.
He was interrupted by his phone beeping. He checked it, then dialed his voicemail.
"Damn," he sighed. "That's how business goes, I guess. Daria just bailed out of lunch with me. Ah, well, dinner will come soon enough."

Millie looked at Miss Tipper's stomach in surprise. "There't a baby in there!? Can it breathe? How can it fit?" She asked, ready to poke Miss Tipper's tummy just cause she had never seen that big of a belly before. And how could this baby live in there?
Emmy grined at Nightlight. She knealed down to the girls level and smiled wolfishly, "Yes it can breathe and if you have any other questions....wait until your ten to ask." Emerald told to little girl
