CharacterPersonality: Lenna’s like a fire, burning down to ashes and engulfing the world. Her vices lick at the walls of social constraints, searing them away. Her tongue waggles the talk of independence and thinking for one’s self. Her burning desire for self rule brings with it a warped sense of morals and values. Anything is acceptable as a means to an end for her, and the path to enlightenment is paved in good intentions.
She does have a conscience, though. It's buried somewhere between her wanting to enlighten the world and her wanting to burn it. A sadist who loves the sound of her own voice, she makes for a very interesting storyteller in this game of life. Any move is a gamble, and she’s a gambler by heart.
Lenna loves stories of the mythic individual. Cowboys and super heroes fascinate her, and Casablanca and Dirty Harry are her favorite movies.Lenna is sarcastic and straightforward. She values common sense. She has been trained to be a serious person. As far as interacting with people goes, she has worked hard to be a people person when she wants to be. She can make friends, and put on a social mask. If you're her friend, she'll go out of her way to help you out. She values teamwork and camaraderie, because that's the sort of environment she grew up in.
Hobbies/ Interests: Baseball, martial arts, firearms. 90s and 80s music. Dated references and old movies.
Job or part time job and description: Unwilling SUPER Agent, past as professional assassin. Teenager.
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Being powerless or losing control of herself or her life are some fears she has.
Special talents: Sharp eyes and keen hand-eye coordination. She has a gambler’s eye for details.
Years of various martial arts training regimens, and experience with a wide range of weapons. Lenna is ambidextrous. She knows Spanish, English, Japanese, Russian, Mandarin, and French. About 10 years of martial arts training. Mainly krav maga with a mix of other styles. She is no master, but she can block your average punch and pull someone's arm behind their back. She has firearms training, as well as some experience with blades and blunt weaponry. She sucks with swords. She knows Spanish, English, and a little French. She hasn't trained in any further languages, yet. No real point.
MoralityGood/ bad/ neutral/ other: Morals? Those cost extra. Her mindset is very mercenary. She doesn't concern herself with things like the greater good. If a woman were dying in front of her and it cost zero effort, she might save her. But she doesn't spare a thought for the people she kills or the lives she ruins in her line of work. She's been desensitized to goodness. But she can pretend. She isn't evil. Lenna doesn't set out to do bad things. But if a job calls for it, eh, she will. She's morally ambiguous.Lenna is very mercenary. She prefers common sense solutions to life's many problems, and employs logic rather than heart. Most of the time, any way. Often times, she tries to solve problems with brutal responses. She isn't evil. She doesn't enjoy hurting people. In fact, sometimes she's even willing to help people. Like friends.
MutationsMutation description: Telekinesis, Levitation (flight)
Lenna has telekinesis. She can move things with her mind. She can move people, objects, or things. It can be used to interact with the world around her in many ways. When she focused on an object, her mind can sheathe it in a shroud of psychic energy that is invisible to others, but appears to her as a dark orange glow around an object's edges. This glow serves no lighting purposes. It merely lets her know what she's affecting. She can also form this shroud around an area, like a bubble around a handful of coins, or a long balloon-animal grade bubble around a man's arm.
Strengths:- An object can be held bound in place.
- Objects affected by this can have their motion momentarily arrested. This sudden stop isn't like hitting a wall of force, and has no impact. It can, however, be jarring. For instance, a person might feel something akin to whiplash if the stop is too sudden, and fluids or objects within a thing may be agitated or disturbed, due to forward momentum.
- Objects can be levitated. Lenna can levitate herself to mimic flight.
- Objects can be maneuvered. Such as manipulating the results of a dice toss. Objects can be pushed, pulled, or moved.
- Lenna can utilize this to lift or manipulate objects from afar. She can touch, move, and apply pressure. Her range is 200 feet.
- Lenna can use this on herself, or others, lifting and levitating a person, so long as they're within her weight limits. She can use it to aid in avoiding attacks by shoving herself out of the way, just like she could use it to apply pressure to slow or move the attack off course.
- This gives her a minor resistance to attacks on her mind by telepaths.
Weaknesses and Limitations:- Lenna can manipulate up to 16 directly targeted objects at a time. This can be less, depending on size or weight. If she's bubbling an area, the maximum amount of bubbles is 2. This has a 150 lb carry limit for each bubble.
- Her maximum carry limit is 300lbs. Each extra object she focuses on reduces this carry limit by simple division. 4 things means 75 x 4, or 4 objects weighing 75 lbs or less.
- The more she focuses on, the less she can do while focusing. If she's levitating an amount of objects close to her maximum number of things, she can't do much more than stand still and move things with her mind. Moving more objects can also reduce the precision Lenna can exercise.
- Heavier objects require more focus. The heavier an object, the less finesse she can exercise in moving it, and the less likely it is she will manipulate more objects beyond it. Large objects can also be more unwieldy, less precise.
- Range of 200 feet.
- It does not require direct sight to move objects, but unseen objects require intimate knowledge of their location (more than just seeing something behind them once, and moving it). A hidden blade on one's person counts as intimate knowledge. So does the seat one is sitting in, or something one is touching behind them.
- Some things move far too fast for her to keep track of with the human eye. It cannot single-handedly stop a bullet. She could not catch it with her telekinesis, and redirect it.
- Pushing on things heavier than her limit is a mental strain. If she tries to do so for too long, it can cause problems such as nose bleeds or loss of consciousness. Going near her limits can also cause mental and physical strain, as can focusing on too much.
- She needs to have a clear head to have good control of her power. Without it, she may be unfocused and unable to control things with precision.
- This power may move things while she's asleep, on a subconscious level. It's 100% uncontrolled, and problematic. It's more present when she has nightmares.
- No bone crushing. She can't crush bones simply by grabbing someone. It applies about as much force as she could apply with a grip. She could twist an arm, but she couldn't mentally crush a femur. She can choke someone normally. She can force choke someone with a shrinking bubble of telekinesis, too.
- If an object is bubbled, she does not have complete control over its minutiae within the bubble. She controls the entire object. If she wants to move someone's arm, Lenna has to target the arm, not the entire person.
- Lenna cannot be a psychic puppeteer. She can move a targeted element of a person's body, but cannot control the entire body all at once. They also can resist physically.
- Lenna cannot use force waves to send people flying, or shoot mind bullets. She can launch small things with enough speed to hurt someone, but she needs an object in order to launch it.
- Being exhausted or in pain can make her sloppier with her control, and might make her less able to handle full loads. If she's exhausted, physically ill, or heavily injured, she won't be able to focus on her powers for an indefinite amount of time. She has no maximum time limit for how long she can use her powers, but those things can help create a time limit. Can't use a mental power if you're unconscious due to blood loss. Can't focus much if you're vomiting.
- Objects levitated move about as fast as if Lenna were moving them through brute force, or throwing them. Heavier objects take more effort. Lighter objects can be thrown with greater speed. Levitation travel for herself goes about 30MPH. That's the speed for her own weight limit and relative size. A heavier person would move 5-10 miles per hour slower, and maybe slower still, depending on other variables like resistance and gravity. Small objects like coins can be flung forward hard enough to hurt, but not hard enough to be lethal shrapnel. Unless we're talking about sharp things that could be lethal, if thrown by a regular person, like, say, lethal shrapnel. Throwing stars, caltrops, knives. Tiny pointy things are dangerous when thrown!

Added during FoY plot:
Sometimes, Lenna’s mind can grow unfocused. If Lenna is unfocused, the orange glow of her power might flow out to target everything within her vision, while affecting none of it. It just bathes entire areas in the orange glow only she can see. Bathes, rather than bubbles. This is important.
Ultimately, this is power ADHD. It serves no useful purpose. When everything is bathed in the orange glow, it reduces the amount of power she can exercise on the world around her, due to weight limit constraints, as well as the fact that objects aren’t actively being focused upon (read: bubbled). She may be able to cause dust to drift, or nudge a pebble a hair. Make a glass of water shift slightly... barely. But since the object is not being focused upon (bubbled), Lenna cannot do anything more than that. In effect, it makes her power useless until she regains her focus.
When she regains focus, the orange hones in to surround the target. Bubbles it. When bubbled, that thing can be affected by telekinesis to her normal extent.
If, after using her power, she once again loses focus... everything goes back to being orange. Everything targetable. Adapteds and lights and light energy constructs remain their own natural colors.

Power growth: March 23, 2020
Force Push:
Lenna can send a wave of telekinetic energy crashing forward at the speed of a rushing tackle. This wave hits with the equivalent force of a rushing tackle from a 300 lb professional football player. It hits everything within a 10 ft x 10 ft square.
This AOE attack temporarily breaks Lenna’s power, in order to allow it to hit many things without dividing its power. It’s a limiter removal, of sorts.
Strengths:
The force push is a wave, not a wall. Lenna imagines it as a crashing wave. It is a wave, with a crest. It does not take any other shape than that. Like a wave, it passes over small things that stand in its path. Things like rocks, which do not move when pushed by such a meager level of force. It breaks when it meets a wall, and weakens and lessens in size as it reaches the end of her range, or as it passes over wave break objects (such as large rocks). Her range is 200 feet. At half her range, the wave if half as large. At 50 feet, it is 1/4 it’s original size. This is not accounting for any further lessening, due to the aforementioned variables.
Only Lenna can see the wave. The force push wave appears orange to Lenna.
The force of the push is equivalent to a rushing tackle from a 300 lb professional football player. It travels at much the same speed. A rushing tackle, at human levels of speed.
It passes over everything in a 10ft x 10 ft square. That is the maximum size. With practice, Lenna can alter the size of the wave, to a minor degree. This does not remove the strength, or reduce the strain the attack places upon her. The minimum size she can manage is 5 ft x 5 ft. It is difficult to limit her focus any smaller than that.
Lenna can alter the direction of the wave, but only to a minor degree. She can force it left or right. Once. And, she can angle it slightly, to force it rushing up or raging down. Once. Changing its course is difficult, and can further strain her body and mind.
Weaknesses and Limitations:
Limiter removal —The act of temporarily “breaking” how her power works, to affect multiple objects within a specified area without splitting her power... is draining. Both mentally and physically. After she uses it, she sort of breaks down. This limits the amount of times Lenna can utilize this power.
Lenna can use this power a maximum of 3 times per day before requiring a long rest (5-8 hours).
1 time leaves her feeling drained. She feels shaky and hungry and tired. She may even get a headache.
2 times leaves her exhausted. She definitely will have a headache. Lenna will have to fight to maintain consciousness.
3 times leads to unconscious. Lenna passes out immediately after using the force push. After it is completed, and vanished. Her nose and ears will bleed. When she wakes, she will have a bad migraine.
200 feet is the maximum range... as well as the minimum. Once formed and released, Lenna has only minor control over the wave. Unless something stops it, it will travel the entire distance. It does lose area as it travels. At 100 feet, it’s size is halved. At 50 feet, it’s size is 1/4 the original size. Big obstacles can further help diminish this size, by acting as wave breaks.
This attack is meant to be a huge, poorly focused AOE. A show of force, with very little finesse. In fact, in order to use it, Lenna must limit her focus. She does this by squinting, to limit her field of vision.
Physical AbilitiesGeneral Physical Capabilities: She is as strong as your average woman, but knows how to utilize what strength she has to great effect. She's physically fit, and capable of keeping up with most runners. Her reflexes are human, but she's trained in various martial arts. She has great reaction times. Her stamina is and flexibility are high, due to constant exercise and training.
Fighting Style: Lenna has been trained in a variety of martial arts styles, including Aikido, Judo, Fujian White Crane, Wushu Kung Fu,, Karate, and Krav Maga. Of these, her focus fell mainly to the last.
Growing up, Lenna thought of fighting in simplistic terms. The goal of a style was to teach one how to handle threats. She realized that with multiple styles cluttering one's mind, threat response became difficult. There were too many possible responses. Lenna found that to be a problem, while training under various teachers. Thus, as she trained, Lenna purposefully shaved her fighting style down to the elements of the many styles that she felt achieved best results. She focused on efficiency. Seeing this, her teachers responded positively, pushing her towards the style that they felt best fit Lenna. They style in question was Krav Maga.
Krav Maga is a style that aims to simplify fighting, by focusing on being reflexive, with few stances, training for efficient responses, and brutal counterattacks. The goal is efficiency. Strong, low-risk kicks, basic punching strikes, and various blocking techniques help round out the many elements in Krav Maga.
It fit Lenna perfectly. Lenna adapted her personal style to that of Krav Maga happily, and never looked back.Lenna has about 10 years of training in basic hand-to-hand combat. Her main style is krav maga, with a mixture of other martial arts moves. Mostly defensive moves. She likes efficient movement with minimal frills.
Lenna is more about fluidity of motion, focusing on intercepting, preemptively stopping, and countering attacks. She isn't a major fan of show-offy moves.
Outside of Krav Maga, Lenna has also been trained in the use of the katana, an antiquated weapon she finds weak, and firearms, which she prefers.
While Lenna is capable of taking threats down easily through close combat, she prefers to fight long-range. Guns are better than samurai swords and fists. The better the gun, the more efficient the kill. If forced to fight at close-range, she uses Krav Maga. Occasionally, she digs out a pair of knives. Those are for people that earn her ire. They're special cases, exceptions she does not make often.
Pros for fighting style: Guns are deadly. Krav Maga is brutally efficient. She could swing a katana around, if she really wanted to.
Cons for fighting style: Guns often draw attention. She prefers to keep out of the spotlight. In her line of work, it's better to go unseen than to get caught. If fights go close-range, you're in a situation where you're bound to draw attention to yourself. If you're carrying a katana around, you've already drawn that attention. Good job, idiot. That's a quick and easy path towards getting yourself killed by a rival assassin! ... But, yeah... sometimes, it's impossible not to get a little hotheaded and show off. And guns do need bullets... one has to make that money somehow, be it working for shady organizations, flexing your trigger finger, or working on your own. Sometimes, Lenna makes mistakes.
History Of Your CharacterHistory Of Your Character
Cartagena is a port city on the northern coast of Colombia, and a center of economic activity in the Caribbean region. It’s a popular tourist destination. Maybe it shouldn’t be so popular… kidnappings and murders occur often during peace time. The drug trades of Columbia go in and out of the port from day to day.
Columbia has always had a problem with crime. The drug trade runs wild, and modern-day Columbia averages 70 massacres a year. It was into this world that handles over 90 percent of the world’s cocaine supply that one young girl was baptized. It all happened on the 22nd of March in the year 1997.
Lenna was 5 years old at the time. Her parents, two wealthy lawyers from Maine, were out on holiday that month on a cruise. In their haste, they’d neglected to arrange a babysitter for their daughter. They decided to take her with them. That, they’d soon find out, was a mistake. Their cruise was stopped by pirates off the coast, and they were killed. Little did she know at the time, but the person behind the attack would soon become a major part of her life. Lenna wouldn’t know until much later how big a part he actually was…
She was orphaned and alone in a far-off land, left crying on the deck of the ship. In the chaos of the pirate attack, one person helped her to a getaway boat. The silhouette was framed in her mind for years to come, dark outlines burned in place by the blistering background on blue and the midday sun. Not a cloud hung in the sky that day; the pureness of the blue seemed unfair. As their boat sped across the water, Lenna looked upon the face of her shadow savior and was shocked. The girl was young, only 8 or so years older than little Lenna. Her hair was pitch black, and her face Hispanic. She asked Lenna for her name in Spanish, but Lenna didn’t know how to answer. All she could do was talk loud, and ask questions. When they got to the mansion she’d be spending her next 12 years at, all she had were more questions to ask.
Eliana Vespeda was her savior’s name. At 13 years old, she’d been one of the pirates that attacked the cruise. She worked for Bolivar Cortez, Columbian drug lord and member of the AUC, as a member of his personal army of girls. Bolivar Cortez always had valued the power of feminine grace. At her request, Cortez allowed Lenna into his army’s ranks. At the time, he thought Eliana was too soft. Still, he accepted her judgment and fulfilled her request. From age 5, Lenna was schooled and trained on the mansion grounds.
She trained in a group of 100 girls of varying ages. Eliana was one of these girls. She took it upon herself to take Lenna under her wing. As they trained together in marksmanship and the martial arts, a friendship grew between them. Eliana was like the big sister Lenna had never known or wanted. When Lenna graduated from the training at the age of 13, she partnered with Eliana as a two-girl assassin team. Eliana did all the killing. Lenna assisted with logistics, on a probationary basis. Learning the ropes.
During the time spent at the mansion, Lenna studied many things. She watched her share of Westerns and detective movies, and fell in love with the idea of the mythic individual. Her movie options were limited to older movies, many in black and white... and Star Wars. In their free time, the girls gambled and played baseball for fun. Lenna got very good at pitching and reading people. She had a keen eye for things. During all this time, she learned the language of the land along with several others.
At 16, she was sent on her first contract killing on her own. During this mission, she was placed in a life or death situation. Her power activated for the first time, giving her the strength to overpower her target's goons and make the kill.
Lenna spent the next several years learning to handle her mutation.
At 19, she left to pursue her own interests for a while with Cortez’s approval. Her travels initially took her to Europe, like any other teen on a mission of self-discovery. Through all those years training under Cortez, she’d never heard about her parents. This trip was not only a search for her identity, but for them as well… Or information.
She supported herself on the money earned from working for Cortez. Whenever she felt the need, she signed onto another contract. She travelled around Asia for a while, taking cases for the people she felt deserved to die. She didn’t argue with people if they paid up front. Not every hit followed the rule. At the time, Lenna considered herself enlightened, and willing to slosh through the muck to bring that eye-widening moment of realization to others. She brought it to a mayor in Tokyo named Izumo Katsuragi, and a wiry sword smith in Osaka named Bill. Her third hit pitted her against a rival assassin in an epic rooftop battle in the rain. Lenna ultimately won that fight, but at a cost…
On her 25th birthday, she returned to Columbia with narrowed eyes and a mission. She was the only person on the planet that knew what that assassin had told her that night, the only one who could do something about it. But first, she’d have to do a little favor for an old friend… and all the years of killing for a man would come to an end.
Or so she thought. Lenna's trip to Columbia had been done in a bout of rage. She'd crossed into dark territories, and done so sloppily. All her research into her old boss had attracted dangerous attentions. She went to a source for information. The source betrayed her. The next thing Lenna knew, she was on a plane to America.
Cortez knew people connected to a shadowy organization run by the US Government, known as SUPER. He owed someone a favor, and wanted to get rid of Lenna. He sent her overseas, into their hands. He figured they'd experiment on her and discard her. Someone at SUPER had other plans. They wanted her to join them, as an Agent.
Lenna recently updated her appearance, to bury ties to her MRO self's old identity and create a new alias. Then, she got de-Aged as part of a plot. That erased the new appearance, returning her to her teenage self. She lost about 12 years of memories, returning to the moment just after her mutation first activated, putting her around age 16. A young girl trained to kill, who... had not killed personally, yet. Not on her own. She is still working on mastering her mutation (again). A strange girl in an unfamiliar country.
