The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Arielle shrugged as Marley asked her to sit down next to him on his bed and so she fulfilled his request. She gave him her attention listening closely as he spoke. Though the getting banned from a whole country caught her off guard. "Wow, that must suck..." she thought to herself. She couldn't imagine being banned from her home country and never getting to see her friends and family back there.
”But on dee lightur side. I enjoy soccah, liftin weights, eatin, comehdies, tahtoos, uh…… an othah tings. So now I let yah somewhah intah meh world.” He had said, ”So Whah bout you?”
"Me?" Arielle looked back at Marely as the spotlight shifted on her. "Well to be honest, we're in the same boat. I thought I knew myself, but I don't know anymore. It's a long complicated drama story...point blank, relationships suck. You think you know a person and you think you know yourself, when really, you don't neither." she sighed. "Other than that, I'm just...alive, living each day that goes by. I like to hang out and chill with friends, swimming, just going out..." she let out another sigh. "I'm just here." she said. "Identity crisis. At least we have something in common." she laughed slightly. "I'm not trying to be a downer. I'm sorry." she apologized and she really did feel bad. She was usually so lively and fun but she's just been dull. "I've always wanted to go to Jamaica. I hear its beautiful there."
Marley had listened to what Arielle was saying and understood how she must be going through tough circumstances also, but exactly what that situation is, well it probably wasn’t up for discussion. It’s always hard on a person when they think they know who they are and then another variable gets thrown in your equation called life and BAM! You’re back to square one all over again which was where Marley currently was at. However since coming to the mansion though he had hoped to move forward finally and put the puzzle pieces to his life together.
>>"I've always wanted to go to Jamaica. I hear its beautiful there."
Marley nodded, ”Yah it tis……..Beautiful white sahnd beachezzzz, turquoise colahed wahterssssss. All dah sun yah could ehvah want, but dah real fun is dah night. If yah can’t dahnce yah might as well not ehven come out. Pahties seem tah beh ehverywhere, beautiful wohmen ehverywhere. I loved it ah lot. Fah meh I was in pahrahdise. ” Marley grinned from ear to ear as he stared blankly into the air then his vision snapped back on Arie, ”Oh! Oh! Oh! Have I got stor-es fah chu, but latah. It tis hard tah fully explain yah jus have tah go dare fah yah self. Doe all of dah Jamaica men ah beh on yah as soon as yah foot set on ground, trust meh. Sum of dem boys got tongues slickah den snake spit.” Marley at his last remark chuckled.
”Yah got any nay tattoos or piercins? Marley then looked to the air as if he could see a question floating in the air for him to ask, ”Oh an fahvoret ting tah do alone?” Marley had asked. He wanted to ask something more daring and as well more personal, but wasn’t sure of Arielle’s level of comfort with him. So he would just maybe have to save those for a later day.

"Sounds just like Rio. The beaches, parties and beautiful men and women..." Arielle smiled as she began to reminiscence about her home. "The fun and, the music, and the food...." she continued listing things off in her mind. All the things she was missing now that she lived here in New York wallowing in mental misery. Then Marley's next question snagged her attention as it was out of the ordinary and kind of personal. He asked about piercings and tattoos.
"No tattoos. As for piercings, just my ears and my belly button" she told him seeing as those piercings were always on display, obviously her ears and her belly button since most of her shirts bore a bit of her mid-riff. However Marley's next question on the other hand. What did she like to do alone? Well that depends. It could be a harmless question, or something with more...scandalous intentions. Was he coming on to her?
"I like to read and sleep. Eat. Watch movies. You know, nothing out of the ordinary." Arielle replied with a smile.
”Rio souns like ah grate place den.” The oversized mutant smiled as Arielle talked aloud, ”I guess I might need tah vis-sit den.” The giant oaf grinned once again thinking about mischievous adventures. Marley was disappointed that the Brazilian bombshell had no tattoos, but ah well not everyone liked them. So if she had none he would show her and explore his own bodily art.
”Dis ear on my left bicep is da lion. A symbol of strength, Yah kno.” Marley said pointing to his left bicep and continued on, “……On meh right arm is a tribal tattoo.......that uh........... I jus got fah dah hell of it.” He said as he guided his opposite hand along the tattoo, ”Dis one on meh back tis is ah gang tahttoo. I tol chu I was ah bahd boy.” He turned his back to Arielle and lifted his wife beater exposing his back to let her get a glimpse of the tattoo that read ‘Death before Dishonor’ in old English letters. He quickly rolled his shirt back down trying not to let her see too much though, ”Meh piercins. Well meh nose. Whah can I say? I like Tupac” he said as he pointed to his nose, ”And meh ears.” Well Marley had thought to himself, ’That should have covered everything.’ But it wasn't, "Oh on dee inside of meh lef forearm meh cun-trees flahg." He said as pointed to the tattoo.
Marley had wondered what was going through her mind so he asked her flat out no need to be shy anymore, ”Soh whah cha tinkin bout? is bout meh? Yah seem distract-ted?" The colossal mutant hoped for a honest answer if not well he would just keep things going because his next question was somewhat interesting.
Arielle nodded and glanced as the muscled mutant showed off his tattoos and piercings and couldn't help but chuckle when he mentioned his nose piercing was because of his fondness for Tupac. Then she fell silent again when he asked her what was on her mind and how distracted she seemed to be. "You really don't want to know..." Arielle sighed heavily. "It's just a jumbled mess...romance, heartbreak, adultery, schizophrenia...just a hot mess. Nothing for you to be concerned about..." she set getting off the bed and folding the folder close to her chest.
"Is there anything else I can help you with while I'm here? I should go file this paperwork real soon."
Marley had listened to Arielle and obviously from the words she had chosen to use it most likely was boy trouble. So not wanting to intrude in the issue further he dropped it out of his mind and Marley knew that in all do time she would eventually let him know………maybe. Though he did want to comfort her somehow, however they were adults and she could sort it out on her own. After she had finished talking the Brazilian beauty had rose from her seat on the bed. Was she leaving? Already? The largely framed Marley had just started to get comfortable. Quickly though he had ensued to stand up as well.
>>"Is there anything else I can help you with while I'm here? I should go file this paperwork real soon." She had said.
Marley had began to scheme of how he could keep the girl in his presence longer so he could get know her better, but he figured that she probably had more urgent matters to tend to. Hesitantly he shook his head no, ”Naw immah beh fine mehbeh I will get mehself behtah acclah-mated roun ear.” He said smirking a bit half grinning, [/b]”Soooo, will I evah see yah ahgain?”[/b] The Jamaican had asked her.
Arielle smiled at Marley and let out a light chuckle at his question. "What kind of question is that? Of course you'll see me again. We both live here after all." she smiled sweetly. "Here, let me do this..." she said taking a blank piece of paper from the folder and with a pen jotting down her cellphone number.
"If you ever need anything or if you need someone to chill with, give me a ring. Kay?" she smiled handing Marley her number and gave him a small wave before making her exit.
Marley felt a little dumb after asking such a simple minded question, but he just wanted to be sure is all. Shaking his head he was about to speak until she had jotted down her number on a blank piece of paper and handed it to him? He couldn’t believe he now felt like mutant manor was not going to be that bad of a place. Smiling with a charm look he took the piece of paper nonchalantly not trying to seem too eager, ”Oh kay I will.” He said with a relaxed and smooth tone.
As she made her exit he waited a bit then scrambled to the door and stole a look with his head peeking out to watch her walk down the hallway as he had got a nice sight. Shaking his head up and down he faded back into his room and began unpacking his belongings.
