The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Arielle was taken by surprised as she suddenly found herself in the position she had just placed Geo in. As she was held firmly against the mustang by Geo, she writhed in his grip trying to get free. However, when he started to yell at her and his words struck a cord, causing her to stop. As his eyes soften and looked to her, the pink faded back to brown and Arielle stood stunned looking back at him.
"Geo..." she said in a shaky voice. "I'm...I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. I didn't mean to do that..." she said, sliding down on the door of his car and sitting on the ground holding her head. Something wasn't right at all and she had no clue what she was doing such things. In the short time she had known him, he cared for Geo a lot and thought of him as a good friend. Someone she would never intentionally hurt and she had just attempted to."I'm scared..." was all she could say, shaking a bit as her eyes watered. "I don't know whats going on. I'm so sorry Geo...." she apologized again.
Geo smiled in relief as Arielle's eyes changed back to normal, she seemed to melt to the ground against the car, her body going limp. Geo got on his knee's in front of her and wrapped his arms around her protectively, he was relieved that he was right. "I knew that it wasn't you." He muttered softly gently stroking her hair. The way he figured it her powers fed off her emotions as well, like Geo's did on his anger. Something that was happening inside her head was causing her powers to manifest in ways that it never had before. Much like how Geo's did when he blew of the fury gathered up by Deja's disappearance.
"It's okay, you'll make it through this. You don't have to be scared, I'm here to protect you. And don't apologize, I know that it wasn't you doing those things." He squeezed her tight in assurance, hoping he could calm her down. He looked around, it was dark out now, near midnight and they sat in the parking lot of some warehouse off of the freeway, he couldn't leave her here. "Come on, we can't stay here. I'll take you to the mansion, you can rest there and we can figure this out tomorrow. I've been through this before Arie, I'll stay with you until you figure this out if you want."
Arielle nodded in response to Geo and hugged him back, burying her face in his right shoulder. There was indeed something going on inside Arielle's head and it scared her that whatever it was had taken over her mind and caused her to hurt a friend. Rest did sound good and it was what she needed. Losing her mind had taken a bit of a toll on her strength and she felt a bit weak, but she still had enough strength to get back to her feet and climb back in the passenger seat of Geo's mustang. Only a few minutes later would pass until Arielle's lean was leaned against the window and she doze off into a peaceful sleep.
Geo climbed into the car after making sure that Arie was okay getting into the car. He then went around and climbed into his seat, by the time they had began to move Arielle was asleep. Turning around Geo saw his button shirt and grabbed it, placing it gently over Arie like a blanket. He drove carefully as to not wake her. He couldn't take her back to the mansion like he said he would, they wouldn't respond well to a order member walking in with a seemingly injured X-woman, he couldn't take her to the garage because he didn't know how to take care of her himself. There was one thing that he could do however but he didn't know how Arie would feel about it. He turned gently onto the road leading towards the sanctuary.
There he knew who he was dealing with, his family, and they would help him with her. He could take her to the infirmary and put her in a bed there and wait for her to wake up. Then he could play it by ear from there. Geo's gaze was a thousand miles away as he drove the familiar streets automatically. He recapped the day, how something went from good to wonderful to disaster. He looked over and Arielle and smiled lightly. This whole series of events today made him feel closer to Arie, she was fueled by the same pain that he once knew and that somehow made him comfortable around her.
In the garage Geo quietly opened Arie's door and picked her up easily, He carried her into the halls, past the dorms, downstairs and into the infirmary. This room was starting to look all to familiar. Geo gently placed Arie on the bed farthest from the door and dragged the curtains around the bed to cut them from the site of the rest of the room. Geo pulled up a chair next to the bed and watched Arie sleep peacefully, it was funny how the sassy girl lost her spark when she was sleeping, looked more peaceful.
Geo gently laid his head on the bed next to Arie's arm and let sleep slowly fall over him.
