The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Geo walked out of the garage and into the hallway of the Sanctuary, he was covered in grease and wore a white wife-beater, torn jeans and an old pair of Van's sneakers. He treed slowly through the hallway, he was tired. Things had been going slow for Geo in the past week, getting to be a little to routine for him. He needed to find a way to stir things up. He walked into his room and dragged his feet as he grabbed a towel and walked into the bathroom.
Showered and refreshed Geo walked back into his room wrapped in a towel. He dressed in a pair of lose fighting blue jeans and a dark green t-shirt. He pulled a black hooded sweatshirt over that and then pulled on a brown coat with a fuzzy collar. Geo then headed out of the room, grabbing a pack of cowboy killers as he slipped into his boots. He stepped through the dorms quietly because it was late at night, almost three in the morning. His step only quickened again when he was clear of the other peoples rooms. He shuffled down the stairs and with a slight wink at the receptionist opened the door to the front steps.
The cold hit the elemental like a brick wall, he recoiled for a moment before popping up his collar and continuing into the brisk night air. He only took a few steps down before thinking it was a bad idea coming outside just for a smoke. Normally he would sit in his room to smoke but he felt like going outside today. He sat on one of the steps, placing his feet several steps lower. He jammed his hand into his pocket and pulled out his cigarettes and sticking one in his mouth. He enjoyed the warmth of the lighter on the tip of his nose for a brief moment before the cigarette was lit. The warm smoke filled his lungs momentarily before hit exhaled leaving a fog to linger in the mid winter air. He could only think of one thing: he needed to think of some way to make his life interesting again.

Leila glared into the dying man's dark eyes. She was on top of him, his own gun pointing at his head. She was having plenty of fun tonight, and in this dark alley, she knew no one would dare approach the young blonde, especially since she had her index finger half way pressed against the trigger. Don't get this wrong though, she hadn't tackled this man on purpose, he had tried to stab her from behind when she wasn't looking. He was just one of those human muggers that had to suffer for what they'd done.
She took in one last deep breath, smelling the fresh blood coming out from all the slashes her knife has done to him only minutes ago. "Not so tough now, huh?" she hissed, her lips inches away from his ear. The Order member got up from over him, the gun still pointed between his eyes. "I don't think killing you would be a good idea..." she said thoughtfully. "Maybe I could let the Police find you, you are wanted, afterall. I'd be thanked for this, unfortnately, no one will ever know..." she grinned evily at him, and kicked him in the ribs again, listening to his wails of pain.
She pocketed the gun, and left. 'No doubt the man would die soon enough', she thought, making her way inside her silky black Convertable. She pulled off her bloody sweat shirt and passed a hand through her long blond hair. She looked at herself in the mirror, there were signs that she'd been in a fight tonight. With a gash on her arm and a slightly swollen lip, but as she licked the blood away, she could tell no one at the Sanctuary would really care. If they did, she wouldn't mind.
She wasn't going back to the Mansion tonight anyway, so there was nothing to worry about. She would spend the night at the Sanctuary, just so the X's wouldn't see her looking like this. She was still pretending to be interested in the X-Men afterall, they couldn't have the idea she got herself in fights. Sure, she didn't look bad according to her, but obviously the X-Men would be slightly bewildered, and very curious as to how she could of gotten punched in the mouth and stabbed in the forearm.
Her car pulled up in the Driveway of the Sanctuary, and she spotted a friendly face. It was Geo, the first Order member Leila had met. She opened the door and got out, trying to hide the wound on her arm, unsucessfully. "Geo, I haven't seen you in a while." she said, sounding much different then when she'd first gotten here three months ago. Did she really sound that serious? That...scary?
Geo looked up to see the beautiful blue eyed blonde walking towards him. He quickly stood and placed his cigarette in his mouth so that he could slick back his hair. Removing the cigarette from his mouth he put on his famous charming smile and spoke, "Well well, if it isn't the beautiful Leila." He then stepped down the stairs and walked towards the girl. Something was different about her, the way she held herself was much more confident from the way she was when he first met her all those months ago. He remembered her as the sweet little X-girl who wanted to be a baddie, kind of like how he was when he first came to the order, now she reminded him of the others at the order, hardened by experience. He couldn't help but wonder if he had changed much since he came to the order.
"And what, may i ask, brings you to our humble sanctuary on this cold evening." His grin transformed to a sly one, "Finally get tired of all those goodie two-shoe boys at the mansion?" He punctuated the sentence with a wink.

Leila smiled at him, the darkness enveloping him so that his features were darker, eviler then usual. Quite oddly, she didn't bother biting a reort to his response to her arrival either. Sure, other men apart from her boyfriend could call her beautiful. She shifted her weight slightly as he approached her, her eyes fixed upon his face. The smell of fresh smoke filled the air around her, and she tried to avoid breathing in to much. She hated the smell, it made her sick.
She laughed softly, yet an evil-ish air seemed to linger in her tone. "Unfortunately, the X's aren't boring me enough to leave. Not right now, my job as a spy is just about to get interesting. I plan on mentioning to the goodie two-shoes as you call them, that the X-Men seem to interest me a little. Then, they might let me in on some juicy meetings. Until I get caught though, I won't be leaving the Mansion." she explained.
She lifted her blooded arm a little, "That-" she said, nodding towards it, "Is why I'm here. It wouldn,t be wise to turn up at the Mansion looking like Iv'e just come out of combat would it?" she smirked, "...Though, that man really should of been a bit more careful when he attacked...Anyway, I was thinking of maybe crashing at the Infirmary tonight, get myself healed?" she said, the last part sounding more like a question.
Geo chuckled along with Leila, he could tell that she enjoyed being covert at the mansion to some extent, maybe the thrill of the chances of being caught. He stopped chuckling when she showed him her arm, it was a pretty bad. He stepped towards he and positioned himself so that he could see it better in the street lights. It looked deep, needed a few stitches and some gawes a she would be fine. He could do it himself, he had experience taking care of his own cuts not liking when other people treated his wounds. He threw his cigarette into the snow, i slight sizzle could be heard as the cherry hit the wet substance and blinked out of existance.
"Of course it wouldn't be a problem for you to spend the night in the infirmary, but i can actually stitch this up myself if you'd like. You wouldn't have to wait for one of the doctors to get out of bed and I promise you i'm skilled." He rolled up his sleeve, exposing his tattooed arm and showing her a faint scar on his inner forearm from a accident in replacing a axle on a car, he had stitched it himself.

Leila's lips curled into somewhat of a smile at the sound of his deep chuckling. She knew there wasn't anything funny in what she'd said, but she smiled anyway. She remembered his humor when they'd last met. She'd been dead serious about joining the Order, and he'd actually joked around. She knew Geo slightly better now, and she also knew that it was in his nature to kind a bit of humor in everything everyone said.
Leila noticed his features changing when he finally saw her injured arm. She smirked slightly. At his words, she sighed. "I guess you'll have to do." she said, watching as he rolled up his sleeve. Well, that seemed like a pretty decent job. She stepped in front of him, and when she'd reached the stairs of the Sanctuary a few feet away, she looked back, her blonde hair flickering in the dim lights. "Okay Doc, let's do this." she said.
Geo didn't have to be told twice to follow a beautiful blonde girl. He walked just ahead of her, leading the way to the infirmary. The sanctuary was quiet in the early morning hours and they were the only ones in the halls. Geo remained quiet as to not awaken the other residents.
When they reached the infirmary, sure enough, it was empty. He flicked on the lights and the florescent lights hummed for a moment before blinking into existence. He walked over to a supply closet, knowing well where everything was from the many times he had been there. "Go ahead and grab a seat on any of those beds i just have to grab a few things."

Leila's strides were light and graceful, trying not to make too much noise, which was fairly easy. She kept her eyes on the back of Geo's head, thinking about the night she'd be experiencing. She really hoped the stitching wouldn't go wrong. When those thoughts processed in her head, she felt a stabbing pain at her arm. The bleeding wasn't as bad anymore, but it still hurt like crazy whenever she flexed. She bit her lip, repressing a gasp. She'd be okay in the morning, she just had to rest. Stay here for a while, until she was well enough to not have a bandage.
Finally he stopped walking, and so did she. They were standing in the Infirmary, Leila had never been here before, though she knew about the place from the small tour she'd had with Geo about two months ago. She was rather greatful for the emptiness the night brought this place. The quieter the place, the more Geo would be able to concentrate. She took a deep breath, trying to ease the pain slightly.
"Okay," she breathed, walking towards the nearest Hospital bed and hopping on it, trying not to put to much pressure on the bad arm. Her eyes lingered on Geo, this helped. He distracted her from the thoughts of pain and what she'd do after she was all wrapped up in bandages. She needed a good cover story, that was something she would think of later. How many thiefs had she seen in NY? That would easily do.
Geo grabbed an armful of supplies, gaws, medical tape, cotton swabs, a curved needle, thread, and peroxide. He turned to see where Leila had sat down before placing the supplies on a rolling tray and dragging it towards where she sat. He left the tray next to where she sat and grabbed a tall rolling chair for himself and sat directly in front of her. "Dare i ask how you got this cut?" He said, his voice laced with a slight chuckle. He had no illusion that the injury was received in a moment of innocents, otherwise she would be at the mansion right now rather then here.
He reached out and gently grasped her arm, turning it lightly so that he could see the wound. Geo released her arm for moment so he could unscrew the peroxide bottle and took a cotton swab and dipped it in the peroxide. He gently wrapped his hand around her wrist and began to swab the wound, ridding it of any dirt and bacteria it may have gained on the way to the sanctuary. "I apologize ahead of time if i hurt you." He apologized under his breath as he concentrated.

Leila's eyes trailed after him, his hands were full of supplies he'd need for the job, and Leila couldn't help but wonder how long it would take. She was beaten, and it was after Midnight already. She was about to ask him, but he was to quick, and she had to answer him first. She smirked at him, "Let's just say..." she looked at him fully in the eye, a dark expression on her face. "Let's just say I ran into a little bit of trouble in an Alley. Don't worry though, that foul Human didn't feel a thing." she grinned at him.
Leila gave him her arm unhesitantly. "How long do you think this'll take?" she finally asked, her dark expression faded away completely, replaced wth a serious and slightly tired one. He apolofized if ever he hurt her through this, and Leila smirked at him. "No worries." she breathed. She gave a yawn, and then winced. "Gee, careful with that!" she hissed, pain shooting up her arm as the medicine started taking effect.
She closed her eyes, concentrating hard on good things. Her and Sam, her fighting Humans, her with Sam... She opened her eyes again, the pain had eased, just the tiniest bit.
Geo chuckled at Leila's story behind the wound, he found it funny that she sounded so cruel for someone who had just recently joined the order. "This won't take that long i promise," He then threw the cotton swab back onto the tray and took a small cloth and began wiping the liquid away. "I don't have any pain killers, so this may hurt, here squeeze this." He held out his left hand after he finished tying the thread to the curved needle and transformed his pinkie into it's rock form so he wouldn't have to worry about her squeezing to hard and crushing his normal pinkie.

Leila couldn't help but grin again at his humor with the story. He always found everything funny, didn't he? She was about to snap back at him, when an other jab of pain cut her short. She closed her eyes tight again, and waited patiently for it to ease up. 'That long.' That long could be an hour, two? She bit her lip, waiting for an other jab of pain to cut off her airway, but it didn't happen. She swallowed hard, and looked down at what Geo was doing.
Her cut was pinky red now, the blood had been cleared away and the bleeding had completely ceased with the medicine. This releived her slightly, she wasn't that injured then, which was good. Pain killers. "Yeah, I'm tough enough without Pain Killers." she breathed sarcastically, taking his hand without hesitation. She squeezed it tightly, feeling the warmth of it. For a rough, hardcore-looking baddie, Geo was sure warm, sure soft. She closed her eyes, and Sam suddenly popped in her head.
She was slightly startled, not because of the needle (It hadn't even touched her yet) but because of what she was holding. It wasn't warm, it wasn't soft. She opened her eyes to find, where Geo's little finger would normally have been, a hard, cold rock. "Now that's cool." she yold him, forgetting about the needle that was approaching her arm. She didn't even squeeze his finger when he first started sewing her, and the pain was even stronger then the stab itself. "Ouch!" she breathed, only loud enough so she could hear it. She squeezed her eyes shut, and then Geo's rocky finger.
Geo winced himself as Leila winced, not because he was physically in pain from her squeezing his finger because he was causing a beautiful woman physical pain. "Right now you'd be popping pain killers like candy if I had it my way, they're under lock and key in the doctors bedroom though..." He quickly dug the needle into Leila's skin and out the other end, quickly so as to cause the minimal amount of pain. He whispered apologies for each of the three more times the needle dug into her skin.
"That's right, you haven't seen my abilities have you, I always assume people know and forget to demonstrate. Don't worry, squeeze as hard as you want, hell break it off for all I care, it won't hurt me." He then swiped the needle into her skin five more times, quickly so that the pain would be over quickly then biting off the thread gently and placing down the needle. He ran over it with peroxide, being careful to not to pull on the stitches. He gently placed the gawes over her arm then wrapped medical tape around all the ends to seal it. Two strips went completly around her arm to hold it in place. Removing his hand form Leila's grip he gently wrapped his left hand around Leila's wrist then pressed his lips gently against the gawes. "There, all better, see?"

Leila gasped, "Yeah, I seriously have gotten worse then this." she gasped again, remembering the time she'd spent watching her mother die, the that same time when she'd gotten her Mutation. That week has been torture, both physically and mentally. This, please, this was nothing. She bit her lip, harder and harder every time the needle went through. One, two, three... The pain decreased everytime, as she watched the gap in her arm shut slowly. "You must have gotten yourself in quite the battles, your good at this." she said, once the needle was out.
Leila laughed, "Yeah, I don't think I'm that strong." she muttered, shutting her eyes closed again and squeezing as hard as possible on the rock. She still had her eyes shut, moving through her head, trying to find her happy place. She was ice skating in the Danger Room with Sam, the moon and the stars, the planets and the astroids. This, this was her Happy Place. Now, she was wrapped in his arms, in his cosy bed... She snapped her eyes open.
"Woah, already?" she said, slightly shocked as she gazed at her bandaged arm. She jumped off the bed, feeling a bit dizzy. "Woah there," she whispered, grabbing on to Geo's arm. She closed her eyes for a second, stabling herself. Once she was safe on her two feet, she looked up again at him, realizing she was way to close. She didn't back off.
Geo jumped up to grab Leila when she wobbled, his hand grabbing hold of her elbow as she reached out to him. She looked up at him and Geo looked into her eyes, a concerned look on his face, "Are you ok Leila?" He asked softly.
