Ruby nodded slowly, ears still flat. She hated being treated like a little kid, she felt like such a baby. She curled her fluffy tail around her waist looking up at Shield.

"I know...I just want to help. ANd I Can...I'm just not as strong as my big sisters." Ruby sighed, a bit dissapointed.

A beeping noise was heard and a little square cube rolled towards Ruby, making soft pinging noises. Ruby knocked on the dome four times and the thing semi nodded, making a large beeping sound.

"It just alerted all the matinance Robots to clean up the mansion." Ruby said, watching as various Floating Robots with plywood in thier arms hovered towards the mansion.

“When you’re a little older I’m sure you’ll be a great help to your sister and everyone else,” said Michael honestly. Ruby seemed so smart that he was sure that she could have been of help during the crisis with Iris.

When she started the maintenance robots he smiled at her and said, “Well, even though you couldn’t help during I’m sure you’ll be a big help afterwards. Those robots of yours should be a big help in the repair work, and believe me, there is a lot of repair work, some of it caused by me being knocked through walls and ceilings.”

Ruby smiled, tail wagging again, she instantly perked up. "Right! And my Robots are far more skilled then any maid or construction worker. THis is a dawning of a new era." Ruby grinned

Ruby looked at him. "You know my big sister will like you. You seem nice, Im sure Emmy will think so too. You seem like a good person to be friends with."

Michael grinned at the fox girl, “Why thank you Ruby, you seem like a very nice person as well, and also a bit of a genius. So how old is your big sister then?” He had no idea if there was a minimum age limit for the X-men, but guessed she was at least his age if not older.

“As for a new age,” he said watching the robots wiz past, “I think that began with mutants. However, maybe a new wave of robots will take some of the heat off us, what do you think?” He gave her a playful grin to show he was joking.

Ruby laughed lightly, green eyes twinkling with happiness. It was good to talk to a boy besides Jamal. Besides this boy seemed nice, and she was sure that Emmy would like him.

"Emerald turn seventeen in April. But..." Ruby's ears flattened a bit. "Everyone cept me forgot. Though we celebrated with Mom and Dad she was still really sad."

Seventeen, that meant that he was old enough to be an X-man. that happy thought was pushed aside when Ruby mentioned that almost everyone had forgotten her birthday. “Aww, that must suck,” he said, “Having all your friend’s forget your birthday.”

Then he had an idea. “Hey Ruby, do you think you could help me whip up a delayed birthday present for when she gets back?” he asked, “Maybe that’ll make her feel a little better about it?”

Ruby brightened up immediatly. She nodded happily as she looked at Sheild. Now this was a guy that Emmy should be dating. But she was too busy dating mr awol.

"Yea! But what do you think we should get her? She is part wolf so she likes meat." Ruby pondered

Aurica arrived at the pool and was about to change out in the open until she had saw Michael and some girl. Well, since she knew she couldn't change out in the open with those two there, she just decided to head over there and see what was going on. As she was going over there, she heard Michael say "... delayed birthday present..." When Aurica got over there, she was breathing a little hard, but she still pulled off a smile, though she was still shaken up from what happened earlier.

"Hey Michael. And hey...um...uh...yeah...hi! My name's Aurica! And you are?"

“Good question,” said Michael, thinking about what he could get Emerald, “To be honest I’ve never really bought a girl a present before.” He chuckled when he heard Ruby’s suggestion, “Maybe I should get her a box of steaks then?”

He saw Aurica come over and smiled, “Hey Aurica, this is Ruby,” he said introducing his new friend, “Ruby, this is Aurica. She’s one of the people who helped out with Iris, her healing power being especially handy.”

Ruby's fox ears perked up rather adorably when a new person came. "Oh Hiya! Wow a healing person, I have a feeling we are gonna need it after this sanctuary fight." Ruby replied with a small sigh.

She paused and though. "Recently Emmy's squeaky bear broke and she was really upset about it, we could get her another one."

“Good thinking Batman,” Michael said with a grin at Ruby’s suggestion, “Do you think we’ll have time to head out to the city and buy one before she gets back?” He hoped there was, as he wanted to try and make Emerald feel a little better.

That was always the way with him, wanting to help others in any way he could, even if it was something as silly as buying someone he hadn’t even met yet a squeaky bear for her birthday which had already passed.

"*Sigh* Another...fight... Oh wait, you mean the fight that just broke out."

Aurica still felt a bit light headed, but the fresh air was helping it out a lot. It took her a minute, but she figured out what she was talking about when she mentioned the fight. She then heard Ruby talk about a girl named Emmy's squeaky bear breaking. She didn't really know anything about the girl, but I guess she figured she should help in some way.

"Well, if you're buying something for a girl, you can never go wrong with chocolate."

Ruby thought for a moment. Em did like candy...well emerald liked anything that was food actually.

"Candy would work, I mean sure my big siser is part wolf but I think she would like candy. " Ruby responded, tail swaying back and forth.

She kinda liked having people to talk to it was a nice change of pace for her. "Oh, yea the x men went on a big mission and my big sister went. Knowing Emerald she is going to need to be healed when she gets back."

“That’s settled then,” Michael declared, “we’ll go and get a squeaky bear and some candy for Emerald’s birthday as a delayed present. Ruby, do you think your sister will mind if we head out to the city to go and buy it?”

When he heard Ruby mention that Emerald might need healing he turned to Aurica and said, “Do you want to come with us or stay here to help out the X-men when they get back? I think they’d all appreciate your healing power like Nika did.”

Ted wondered over to the pol to see if it was full yet. As he got closer, he saw people by the pool already. He recognised one of them as Michael, and he then realised that one of the girls was the one who calmed Iris. He hadn't seen the other one before, but oh well, there were probably lots of people at the mansion that he had yet to meet.

He wondered over to the pool, giving the group a wave as he did so. "Hi Michael." He nodded to Aurica, "Nice job handling Iris back there, though I'm a little bummed that I didn't get to have a play with those tentacles."He grinned, and turned to the other girl. "I don't beleive we've met, I'm Ted, the resident werewolf." He gave another grin at thet three of them, totally unaware that Ruby's sister would most likely lay claim to the spot of resident werewolf. "How long do you reckon this'll take to fix up?" He asked, gesturing at the mansion. "Cause Micheal still owes me a go in the danger room."
