The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Wire and the others gathered into the armoured trucks and made their way to the facility which was quite a drive. He sat with Geist, Isabel, and Ira, wondering if they would be able to help win the bitch of a battle they were about to jump in to. He turned to the three to speak.
"Thank you for coming," he started. "Any of you know someone who's been captured?"
"No thanks necessary. I feel obligated to come and assist however I can", lied Ira. He smiled genuinely at Wire, as though honestly pleased to have the chance to help. He had come along to assist, but he had his own agenda aswell. There was a trick he wished to try that should get him into the building.
The truck's engine was growling as it drove through the city to their destination, because of Ira's weight. Ready for battle, he had his large and powerful metal war body, with an unusual helmet under his arm. His body was silvery grey in most areas, with a few swirls of orange brown. His arms were plated with thick steel, and the rest of him was just smooth metal. The two big swords that he had had earlier were now concealed on the truck's roof, under a black canvas. Ira answered Wire's other question with a shake of his head. Thinking about the weight of his own body, Ira noted that it was fortunate that the truck was armoured, had and extra strong frame, and had an engine capable of carrying him without serious problems. The truck was made of very durable metal. Strong, tough metal. Absent mindedly Ira's left hand caressed the metal of the seat he was on, then he noticed what he was doing and quickly stopped before anyone noticed. <I hope one of these babies gets blown up during battle, this metal is top notch quality, its high grade stuff. I so want to get my hands on some of it..> thought Ira wistfully. If he had his flesh body his mouth would have watered at the thought.
Pain rang through Fade's head as she opened one of her eyes to a slit. She couldn't see very much, just a pair of boots and the ground of...something. Her other eye began to open when she remembered what had happened. She was fighting someone, she couldn't remember who or why, but then a pain echoed through her head and she didn't remember anything else. There was poorly cleaned up blood around her and she felt something crusty on the side of her head that hurt. With great pain, she lifted her head and looked around. It seemed as though she was in a small room with no windows and the figure of a person, she couldn't see very well. A small moan escaped her lips before releasing the strength from her neck and easing her head back down to the floor.
"Ah, so you're alive?" A voice chuckled. It was probably from the foggy figure. Fade's mind tried to piece together the pieces and figure out where she was, but it wasn't working well.
"Alive?" She repeated in an pained and confused voice.
"And you can talk. I guess we didn't hit you too hard after all."
"Hit me?" She repeated in the same voice.
"Don't worry, we found you early in the game and realized later on that there needs to be an experiment set up for you. So here you are, in the van, waiting for hell."
"What game?" She mumbled. "Experiments?" A hand grabbed her shoulder and flipped her over on her back. The figure was now leaning over her limp body. Her head hurt more than anything and she hardly remembered anything.
"Haha, you don't know what's going on do you? Amazing." He chuckled before something touched her cheek, it felt funky and she realized that it was the bottom of his boot. He used his foot to turn her face, letting him get a good look at the source of blood on her head. Then he put his foot down next to her head, right on her hair. It hurt so much and she moaned in pain before using most of her strength to move his foot with her left hand, but it was useless and it just made him laugh more.
A few minutes of him poking her, stepping on her and laughing at her past as she slowly regained her strength. She attempted to sit up, but his foot lightly kicked her chest just enough so she would fall back over.
"You don't like it here?" He laughed. Fade breathed heavily as she needed all the air she could get for her next move and she whispered "Not one bit" before turning invisible. The man quickly threw his foot where she previously was, but she had rolled over and he missed. Then he violently kicked his feet around, trying to find her. She pulled herself up on the seat just as his foot hit where she was. Then she grabbed her head in pain, feeling something wet, it was her blood. He began to sweep his arms across the seats, so Fade grabbed onto the wall and climbed up the side of the van, leaving behind her bloody handprint as she climbed the ceiling.
Just as suspected, the man saw the handprint and threw his arms out across the ceiling, hitting her stomach. He grabbed on tightly to her and pulled her off of the van ceiling, dropping her to the ground. She grabbed herself in pain before he kicked her, not knowing exactly where, but it was in her chest and then on her chin. She choked for air and the man, angry at the fact that he had little room to beat her up in, flung open the doors and picked her up by her leg and arm. He jumped out of the van and dropped her on the concrete. Fade couldn't breathe, she gasped for air but couldn't get any into her lungs.
"Turn visible you little bitch. I wanna see your face when I beat you so much you'll need the experiment to live. Teach you to try and run away from me." He stated before he kicked the general area again, but he missed. Fade had found it good to curl up in a ball and pull in her legs and chest so he barely missed her head. Angered by the miss, he moved his foot around until he found her again and kicked her, this time, it hit the gash on her head and he murmered in disappointment when he saw the blood on his boot.
Fade began to cry as tears streamed from her eyes, snot and blood from her nose and spit and blood from her mouth. She used all of her energy to hide everything that spilled from her by turning them invisible, but when the blow came to her already beaten head, she couldn't use the energy and she turned visible, laying limply from her curled-up position. Then a voice sounded, Fade really didn't care who it was coming from, it was helpful none-the-less.
"What the hell are you doing? Is that a mutant? We need her for experiments? What gave you the idea that you could mutilate my test subject. You could have just changed how the results will be! I'll have you working coffee business once I am done with you! You bloody idiot!" The voice sounded furious. Fade heard what he said and didn't want to be a "test subject" but anything was better than was this man was putting her through.
"I'm sorry, but with all due respect, she is still good for experimentation."
"I'll be damned if she is! Get out of my sight!" And with that, the man nodded his head and returned to the van, closing the door behind him. A loud noise sounded from the van as he had punched the side of the van.
Geist could careless about the whole operation as he stared down at his shoes. If it were not for Jaya.. he thought as he cracked a smile. Slumped over next to Ira on the cold hard metal benchs of the armored vehicle; Geist felt a bit nastolgic as he prepared his plan of action for the upcoming mission. The smell of thick armour plating and a crowded atmosphere brought him back to a more.. fun-filled time. Geist looked up from his slump to gingerly reply to the de facto team leader, "Just lead the way kaiser, Im more than capable of doing my assigned duties.." at least for a time.. Ive got more important things to do than waste precious seconds drawing attention to myself.. right now all that matters is her safety.. moving slightly over as he noticed the metal behemoth caressing the bench they both sat upon. "If I know anyone in there Ill be sure to introduce you two later, other than that it's my bizness.." gazing now back to his elegently tied shoes.
Wire's eyebrows raised at Geist, but didn't say anything. He was obviously upset and anxious, which meant he knew someone inside. A moment later, Wire noticed the vans had pulled up the grounds, seeing the facility looming in the background. It was a lot bigger than what he thought it would be. Wire motioned for all of them to listen as he picked up the radio in the truck to talk to the rest of the back up.
"Ok, everyone, this is it. I will draw the attention while the rest of you prepare yourselves. When they come out, give them a nice surprise with your powers. I need all mutants with projectiles or long range powers to come up to the front line. Everyone else stay back until the front line is approached by the soldiers. All healers, stay back unless someone goes down on the field. Look out for one another. Let's go..."
Wire hung the radio back on the hook and yanked open the door to the truck. He solely walked out onto the field, releasing a set of wires from his fingertips around one of the many floodlights that surrounded the facility grounds. As the strings wrapped around the light, Wire yanked back and it came crashing to grass, creating sparks as the light shorted out. He stepped a few paces more and the security alarms sounded as the perimeter apparently was breached. About a dozen soldiers came out, aiming their guns at Wire.
"That's it!?" He yelled at them, unimpressed with the number of soldiers they felt he could handle. 'No doubt there will be more after we start the attack,' he thought. Wire shot out more of his strings and wrapped them around some of the weapons, snapping them in half. The others fired their tranquilizers at him and three hit him in the chest. Wire fell to one knee, gritting his teeth as the serum leaked into his body. The vile of liquid Daria provided was starting to work as he yanked out the darts...but the soldiers didn't know that. Here's our chance... "NOW!!"
It was night. Ira took a deep breath and made an effort to calm his thoughts and focus himself for action. Well, he did that, minus the breathing part. The Squad Leader, Wire, said that they were here and got out of the truck when it stopped. Ira stood up (the suspension of the truck groaned under the shifting of his weight) and stepped out the back. The truck bobbed back up after he got out. He fetched his swords from on the roof of the vehicle and ran out to the 'battlefield', blades held ready before him. The soldiers were in rows, trying to push them back and kill them. Ha, the very idea, killing mutants. Ira quickly picked his targets and smiled sadistically as he charged through them slashing, chunks of severed bodies falling to the ground in his wake. Bullets peppered his body like sand blown in the wind, bouncing off without leaving anymore than small dints in his thick metallic mass. One of the soldiers realised the bullets were useless and pulled a grenade from his belt and threw it at him. It landed a little behind him between his legs, then exploded. Ira was blown forward into the air, the explosion ripping a layer of metal from his body. The soldier had been hasty about the grenade and it had taken out some of his own comrades (sp???) but it had made an effect on Ira. Ira sailed through the air then landed right on that soldier, crushing him into a meaty paste beneath him, blood trickling through the grass. Ira's metal back was mangled and that was hurting his mind. In his mind it felt like very hot water had been poured onto his head. He clutched the ground in agony for a moment and summoned up the concentration he needed to fix this, sensing what damage had been done to the metal body. He concentrated hard and began repairing himself while pretending to be dead on the ground so as to avoid the distraction of more attack. The shredded parts of his back started to come together again, and he took possession of the metal of the soldiers guns to replace the metal that had been blown right off.
Once his efforts began to take affect, the process only took a few seconds: metal scraps flew to his back and the pieces came together and fused solid. Ira opened his eyes and got up again. The shrieking air filled his ears, they were sounds of war, a small war. This wasn't fun anymore, that prick blew him up. Ira was angry now. He stood up and grabbed his swords. Iratio Silentium, thats his name. Silent Anger. Ira decided it was no longer time to be silent. All around him the soldiers fired guns. Back by the trucks, the mutant squads did their best to give the soldiers hell and not die. The soldiers hadn't noticed him for a moment, a silvery grey figure standing stock still behind them, but now some turned their fire back onto him. Ira hardened the external metal of his body, strengthening it into very thick armor. Ira flashed with the sparks of bullets hitting him and rikocheting(sp!!!??) away. He faced one of the soldiers and walked straight towards him, the soldier back away cautiously and continued to empty his magazines at him in desperation. Ira raised his arm and brought the sword in that hand screaming through the air down through the man's flesh. The soldier crumpled to the ground in two parts. Ira turned and picked up his pace, walking quickly to his next victims. Once he was in range he whirled his arms around in a wide slashing arc, taking out three at once. The blood of his kills sprayed up at him and blood ran down his body in thick tracks from where it coated his right shoulder red. His chest had chunks of bloody flesh stuck to it. The grounds, where the battle between the mutants and soldiers and where his massacre was starting, had begun to turn from lush grassy green, into a fine shade of red.
The doctor, hearing the noises turned, angered by the distraction. He saw the battle and his eyes widened in fear. It seemed as though the battle was progressing towards him and his test subject. Full of fear and regret for ever ticking off any mutants and taking this job, he turned and ran, leaving Fade to fend for herself.
With great pain and effort, Fade turned her head so she could see what the doctor was so fearfull of. There it was, an infantry of mutants, heroes. She attempted to smile, but it did not look too much like one. By rocking back and forth, she rolled her limp body over and extended her right arm as her left held gash on her head.
"Help" She attempted to say, but it came out as a small, rasp whisper. Her legs began moving back and forth as they helped her crawl across the concrete. The small yet sharp rocks beneath her grabbed small sections of her skin and ripped them as she crawled across the concrete. Pain was all she could feel, death was all she felt she would run into, and happiness seemed so far away.
She longed to be back in the mansion, with Raph or Jaguar or Tricity, just talking, feeling secure. It was depressing, to live in moments of pain when joy seemed like a foreign word. Joy, happiness, it didn't seem like she could remember moments such as that, she could only remember moments such as this, where the pain called for tears and there was no one there to comfort her. As she continued to come closer, she repeated "Help" in the rasp voice, desperately hoping that someone had heard her and could at least help her get to her feet.
Snarling animalistically, Ira slammed his fist into a soldier's head, crushing it into a bloody mess. The soldier slowly toppled over, gun blazing, blood quickly running out of what used to be his head. Ira turned and slaughtered another two soldiers with his sword, adding their carcasses to the field. Ira's other sword was stuck in the ground through the backs three soldiers, like a toothpick through sample cheeses. Suddenly Ira remembered something, the reason he'd come. He turned made his way to the building, shedding metal as he went. The metal oozed from his body and puddled on the ground before turning hard, and his body shrunk down to a petite figure. It was still completely metal, just smaller. He ran to the nearest wall of the building and punched it, causing a large chunk to break off. He punched it again with the same hand and the wall shook as more concrete broke. He put down his sword (which was now taller than him) and clasped his hands together and drove them into the damaged area of the wall. The concrete crumbled more and a hole appeared.

(OOC: Just a heads up. There's no posting order because the school year is hectic for everyone and people are getting grounded lol So, no order. Post when you want.)
As Dominic took down another soldier by wrapping the wires from his fingertips around the man's ankles, a sudden figure caught his eye. It was Fade from the mansion and she was crawling along the gravel walkway. When he looked back toward the battlefield, Wire noticed the soldiers pulling out grenade launcher type of guns and loading them with the tranquilizer darts.
"Oh shit...TAKE COVER!!" He yelled, knowing the antidote they had all taken could not stop the hailstorm of incapacitators that were about to come flying their way. "GET BEHIND ME!" He pressed his fingertips together and pulled them apart, making multiple sets of wires. Dominic shot the strings around a male mutant who's mutation was a solid rock outter body. The man stood almost 10 feet tall when he transormed. Wire yanked the strings and the mutant fell over so he and the surrounding people could get behind him. Another girl near by who had the power of controlling earth, created a dirt barrier by lifting a huge chunk of the ground and making a barricade.
The darts shot out toward them and he saw mostly everyone was able to take shelter, but a few. The girl holding the earth barrier created a small earthquake toward the soldiers and shot the dirt wall at them. The rock mutant laughed heartily as Dominic patted him on the shoulder with thanks and the fight ensued.
Wire began his sprint across the grounds, trying to reach Fade. He noticed a few of the mutants had been impaled by several of the darts and were lying unconscious on the ground. Some of them were twitching in a seizure like fashion. "MEDIC MUTANTS, YOU'RE UP!!" Hoping the healing mutations of the others would be able to help the downed fighters.
Dominic finally reached Fade and when he did, his heart sank. "Come on, baby girl. Let's get out of here." He quickly put one arm under her legs and then picked her up from the ground. Moving as fast as possible and trying to avoid being hit by the soldiers attacks, Wire made his way toward the healing powered mutants.
battle... the sounds of battle.. if not so familiar.. Geist looked up from his day dream as the sound of an incoming mortar shook the armored vehicle. Peaking his head out the rear of the truck he glanced about as war engulfed all his eyes could see. Straightening his collar as he jumped out, he cursed slightly at his unexpected black out from reality. "Pull it together numb-nuts, you're better than this!" cracking his knuckles as an un-armed soldier approached him. As he gazed on at the events taking place around him, dispatching the soldier effortlessly with a right hook to the jaw, Geist grimmiced slightly at Ira's 'brutal' tactics. Continueing his scan across the battlefield Geist saw no other way to get to the facility than straight on through their frontlines. "Quickest path between two points is a straight line.. but maybe ghosting through the ground would be more time affective.." But Geist was given lil to no choice on the matter as he saw the boss man, Wire, sprint across the battlefield carrying another mutant as they were pursued by the enemy. Now's not the time to be abandoning my post.. but I'll be there soon.. just hang on Jaya.. Turning his attention to the scoundrels pursueing Wire he stood firm blocking their chase. One of the soldiers loaded an explosive round with the tranquilers inside a gun and fired at Geists position. Smoke rose from the spot where Geist once stood, darts spread about on the ground. The soldiers displayed an expression of confidence and victory, but this soon was replaced by the feeling of grim failure as a cold mist creeped towards the soldiers. In seconds a quarter of the battlefield was engulfed in an eerie mist, the sounds of coughing and bodies dropping to the ground permiated from the fog. As it cleared a figure wearing a suit emerged from the mist unscaved, the bodies of soldiers littered about around him as he continued forward on the battlefield determined to seek out his prize.
A blurry figure made its way into Fade's vision and she stared at it, trying to make out what it was. Was it an enemy? Was it an X-Man? Was it friendly? Would it harm her? Strength was quickly draining from her body and she stopped moving all together, her hand dropped to the ground as it was reaching out for another pull and the unharmed side of her head rested on the concrete as it hurt to use her chin or the gashed side.
In her current, raspy voice, she called out again "Help me, please?" Before taking in heavy breaths. She let her eyes rest and did not strain to keep them open, just layed there, waiting for this fogged figure to approach her. Finally it did. She couldn't recognize him, but then again, she couldn't recognize anyone, but she could tell that he was friendly by the way he spoke. The words "Come on, baby girl. Let's get out of here." sounded as though they had come from an angel of safety as the figure, apparently a male, picked her up and went as fast and safely as he could through the crowd.
With great strength and pain, she lifted her head from it's limp position in order to look at her rescuer better. "Thank you." She smiled before relaxing her neck and eye muscles again. With that one glance, she had him in her memory and she would never forget what he had done for her.
Ira forced his arms into the hole in the wall, and ripped it wider. He heard quick footsteps behind him and looked over his shoulder to see a soldier coming at him with a bayonet rifle (useless on him). Ira twisted and slammed an uppercut into him that sent him a few feet into the air and shattered his teeth and lower jaw. The soldier crumpled and did not move, his weapon lying beside him. Ira turned back to the wall and stepped sideways through the wall, entering the building. He looked around and found himself in what appeared to be a supply cabinet, now with rubble on the floor.
Wire ran through the trees and found where their trucks were stationed, beckoning for the healing mutants to come. "OVER HERE!!" A middle-aged man hurried over and looked Fade over with some disbelief. "She's...pretty bad. Can you help her?"
"I'll try my best," the man answered and helped to put Fade on the floor of one of the armoured vans. The mutant immediately started examining every inch of the red haired young woman and put his palm in the middle of her forehead. A green glow started forming around his hand and then Fade's body began to shake violently.
"HEY man! You know what you're doing??" Wire exclaimed holding Fade down on the floor. She looked like she was in pain.
The man didn't say anything, but nodded as beads of sweat formed on his forehead. "Trust...me," he whispered through gritted teeth. It seemed Fade's pain was becoming his own in a way. 'Looks something of what the Doc Prof does,' Wire thought.
A moment later, a thick fog began to spread throughout the grounds and Wire came through the trees to see more clearly. The soldiers were coughing violently and falling to the ground. Dominic scoured the field for the maker of this mist and saw the mutant in purple was behind its making.
