The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

(OOC: OK, homeskillets...time to wrap this up. We're going to make it so most of the mutants have escaped the facility with the volunteers help. Daria, find Mike in his coma and teleport him out if you haven't done so already. Setsuna, Raphael, and Tristan, time to get out as well. Daria, you may need to get them because they are in a jam. All others who are in the facility, time to make your escape into awaiting helicopters and vans on the grounds in whatever fashion you wish. You can have an NPC save you, run into one of the charries leaving the faciliy, or escape yourself since most of the electronics are down and cells have been opened.)
Jaya had been unconcious for the longest time, waking up now and then in a rather fever-like state. But something woke her up, something cut through the fog. She didn't have enough strength to move, not even to open her eyes, but she felt a familiar coolness, a presence, familiar footsteps. Jaya was able to get out a moan, trying with all she had to form the word that filled her head. "Geist" she finally managed to get out after a few tries.
Entering the facility Geist found himself in the guards barracks, a hallway bordered by doors that opened into the home away from home for all the guards of the facility. perfect luck Geist muttered just as a guard within one of the rooms about how cold it was all of a sudden. At the end of the hall was most likely a guard station followed by another hallway that would lead him too Jaya. As he slowly crept along the hall, Geist closed his eyes and gently traced his left hand across the wall as he honed in on Jaya's presence in the building. With excitement he blurted out just as he sensed her exact position "THERE!" In no time this brought attention to the hall as the guards suited up to investigate. But with a surge of his strength he sealed the surrounding doors, save the exit. As the guards panicked to get free from their new dungeons a lone guard came forth from the exit door, which Geist without hesitation quickly attacked. Geist quickly relinquished the guards gun, throwing it aside, and defended as the guard chose to put up a fight. Blocking and ducking the guards blows, Geist quickly gained the upperhand, comically turning the guard around and putting him in an arm lock. "Now be a good piece of scum and open the door!" ".. sorry bub" another guard on the otherside of the bullet proof glass door said, ".. yur just gonna have to wait right there till we can remedy other situations around the facility, so stick one in it!!." The exit door was closed and could only be opened from the guard station panel, so Geist had to improvise seeing as both his powers and the guard on the otherside was being uncooperative. Putting on a slight smirk he leaned back holding onto the guards arms and putting his shoe onto the guards back he forced the body through the glass door, bewildering the other guard out of his seat. "I think ill pass.." Geist stepped over the body and through the door towards the ill mannered guard from before. The guard tried his best to unholster his gun but was too easily choke slammed into the guard station console, inadvertinly opening up his path too Jaya. Before entering the next hallway Geist remarked "Pssh, remedy that, haha!"
Geist walked into a much darker place, a hallway filled with holding cells and litteded with signs of suffering and pain. Geist knew this scene all too well but was surprised to find the room almost completely devoid of life, except for.. "Jaya.. JAYA! are you alright! say something, please be ok." Geist ran up to the dingy cell that bared his one true prize, kneeling down up against the cell bars to take a closer look.
Skoliro turned and smiled down at the human infirmary, it was time to bust out of this joint. Gracefully he flew down and landed quite softly in the middle of the floor. Smile his wonderful, crooked smile he strode from the room, while the injured stared and tried to stop him. Having no luck the just lay back in there beds, to tired to care anymore. He entered the hallway and looked around, but there was no one in sight, scratching his head he started down the hall, on high alert. Suddenly a group of about ten men jumped out from behind him. Skoliro winced as a sharp pain ran down his wing. Falling to the ground he reached back and felt the sticky substance of his blood.Damn it, he thought, but he wasn't going down that easy. Jumping up with lightning speed he quickly knocked out four of the men, obviously the weak-links of the group. Then two men ran up from behind and tried to slash his head but instead they ran into each other. Skoliro just shook his head, what imbeciles. Another two ran up and preform something close to the same acrobatics, and he couldn't help but let his velvet laugh escape his throat. The more elite where probably all dead bye now, and these where just the left overs. Suddenly the man who had cut his wing ran up and tried to kick him, and succeeded, but the kick was so weak against his toned muscles that he was frozen in place. Skoliro reached out with one icy cold arm and flipped the man to the ground. The last just turned and ran. Again he shook his head, that was too easy, beside from the large gash now oozing blood in his wing he was perfectly alright. He turned and simply strode out of the doors, who had been broken by another mutant earlier.
Raphael stumbled a couple steps, following Kilala’s directions and pushed himself up against the wall and fixed his gaze on the couple of soldiers that were stuck in her time field. He was not sure what he would do when her field fell, but figured he could at least throw a punch. He still felt tired, exhausted even, but he had pushed himself beyond what he thought were his limits before, just possibly not this far.
He turned his head and watched Tristan do his work. He kept to his job, watching the two caught in the field. He drew a deep breath, and watched the first of the two guards come out of the field and sprung forward. He brought his arm up and dropped his elbow heavily on the man’s shoulder and let loose his elbow blade straight down through his body. He fell with the man to the ground as the second man made it through the field. He let his elbow blade retract and rolled off the now dead guard and swung his heavy fist at the man’s ankle as he leveled his rifle at Kilala. The exertion of the two blows earned him two things. The first was his exhaustion returned to him with a renewed vengeance. The second was the rifle swiveled around and became leveled at him. “T.K… Kilala… Little help?” He muttered as the rifle cracked and put a round right past his ear.
((praises all that is holy that thanksgiving break is coming up soon. School is attempting to kick my ass but i can't and won't let it hence my absence for a bit. sorry for any delays i caused))
While Tristan was not adverse to playing decoy so the other two could escape he did like the odds of survival he had with them too. And those odds just seemed to be turning in their favor. As he listened to Setsuna say she had a plan he stood up, checking both his guns as he did.
Without a moments hesitation, Tristan turned around the corner, following Setsuna's lead, and fired off several rounds at the men behind the few stuck in the force field. Tristan, not sure how the field would affect bullet motion, aimed for center mass more than head shots. He watched as the five bullets he just fired entered the field and suddenly slowed to the point where he could see their path with his eyes. Seeing that the bullets would fly true he fired several more rounds, a second bullet for each of the previous ones, ensuring that if the first didn't kill the target the second would.
As Tristan searched for another target he heard Raphael call from the floor, where he had just succeeded knocking the second soldier that escaped the force field off target. As he turned his attention that way, Tristan heard the distinct BOOM of a bullet being fired. Tristan was stunned momentarily and as a result wasn't able to react before the second bullet, which also missed, was fired. With speed born from his Wu Shu training, Tristan slid up to the armed guard and pistol whipped the man twice, once in the arm holding the stock and trigger of the gun causing it to go slack and once at the base of the neck, causing the man to crumple to the ground.
"That was a bit too close,"Tristan said as he holstered his left hand pistol and offered his hand to Raphael to help him back up. As he stood there he turned his head to Setsuna and said, " I think it's time that we got out of here. It won't be feasible to find anyone else if all the guards are on kill on sight orders." With that Tristan waited for Raphael to take his hand and readied his right hand gun to put a bullet through anyone that got through the field.

Kaine awoke his face felt sticky with something, It was blood, looking down he saw he had passed out in it his pink overalls had now become red and his shoulder was unbelievably painful. using all the strength he had with his left arm he pushed himself up onto all fours. His arm lay limp at his side looking down at the puddle and his bloodied body Kaine vomited his blood mixing with his vomit on the floor Kaine felt the weakness washing over him again as he collapsed forward into the mixture of his bodily fluids.
(OOC I'm a bit stuck for ideas how to get Kaine out anyone got any or can any one help)
Kaine Woke again this time laying still only moving to press his radio on "Sis, sis are you there its Kaine run you got to get out of here it looks like I'm not going to make it save your self." Kaine's voice cracked and tears began to stream down his face as his own mortality hit him "I love you Sis, you hear me i love you and I will all ways watch over you, please get out! theres signs to the surface follow them"
Kaine released the button and heard the radio crack. As he passed out again he was sure he heard his sisters voice Crying and saying "No brother please Kaine don't go I love you"
Jaya could hardly move, she was so weak breathing was a chore. Her hair was a dingy yellow from the lack of sunlight, she was thin and pale, her body practically eating itself in an effort to replace the energy that should have been there. She sensed the cold coming near her, and new it was the only one who could make her feel warm on the inside. She could hear him talking to her, but she couldn't find the strength to respond, she'd already used it up in her earlier cry. She could find nothing else to do but let out a low, short, whistle, hoping it would be enough for him to know that she was still alive.
Kilala quickly moved behind the field and waited as Tristan's bullets had begun taking down the soldiers. She quickly came forward, removing her sword, and taking down two more with a slice to the throat and a stab in the chest.
At the sound of Raphael's voice, Kilala turned and saw Tristan helping him to his feet. As she just sheathed her sword again after the attack was over, a gunshot resounded throughout the hallway. Kilala felt a sudden burning and the force of the pain had caused her to fall forward and to the ground. When she turned to the source of the shot, she realized one of the soldiers had gotten to his knees and taken his sidearm. It was then Kilala felt the warm trickle of the blood going down and around her arm. The bullet had entered her left scapula. She fell forward on her stomach in an effort to take cover.
Raphael took Tristan’s hand and accepted the help up. He certainly needed it, as he felt even more tired than when he had first come to. He cast a glance towards Kilala as she dispatched the last of the guards, and gave a small grin, it was over for now. Or at least so he thought. He heard the pistol go off, and realized that it was not Tristan’s immediately.
”Son of a…” He let go of Tristan’s hand and collapsed back on to the floor. “T.K. Survivor, shootin’!” The gestured wildly at the man on his knees taking aim for him and Tristan now.
He waited for the guns to begin going off once more, and could not but feel a little helpless, exhausted as he was. He did not like it at all, it made him angry actually; angry that he could not force his body up off the floor and drop the man who defiantly refused to succumb peaceably to their escape route; angry that someone else had been hurt in rescuing him; angry that he had to rely on someone else for the time being.
Though even as angry as Raphael might feel, and no matter how compelling his mind might be for him to rise up and smite this guard… His body had reached its limits. He was simply put, too exhausted to do much more than limp along with the help of another. And to that extent he would need to be content for now.
(OOC: sorry kaine yur on your own lol I hear Rapael's com'n for ya tho ^-^)
As Geist peered thru the holding cell bars at the lifeless form that lay there, his worries were put to ease at the barely audible sound of a whistle eminating from Jaya as a sign she was still alive. "Hold on just for a lil bit longer babe, im getting you out of here yesterday." Geist at the moment was feeling a bit vulnerable and physically weak because of his powers sudden vacation, unable to ghost through the cell bars, and pondered for a solution to this dilemna. But with a light bulb going off in his head he reached into his back pants pocket for a key that he pocketed while assaulting the guard station, Geist stood up and slowly turned the key in the lock making a loud *click* sound just before he swung open the cell door. Sliding onto his knees as he ran in, Geist slowly scooped up Jaya into his arms, holding her close and away from the squalor that was the cell floor. "Jaya.. *tear* i dont even know what to say. *sniffle* im sorry Jaya, This should have never of happened. I failed you, and once more all I can say is im sorry.. *tear* and that its alright if you hate me, or never wish to speak to me again. Just know that Im going to get you out of here regardless.. *sniffle* because I care about you, and for as long as you need me I will be there for you.. always." Leaning his head onto hers.
Jaya wished she could respond, wished she could let him know that she didn't blame him for any of this, but right now she didn't have the strength to manage that. All she could manage was a smile, a very weak and pitiful smile, but a smile nonetheless. I could never blame you, she thought. Never.
As Kilala reached for her shoulder, she felt the pain ride down her spine. She grimmaced in pain and waited for the next gunshot to go off from the soldier. When a sudden click eminated, Kilala realized the soldier's gun was jammed. Laying under one of the downed bodies, she saw a nine millimeter and yanked it up with her right hand. Kilala painfully turned over on her back and aimed for the soldier who was furiously trying to fix the gun. She fired a single round into the man's head, his body slumping backward to the floor.
Kilala sighed and tossed the weapon aside. She turned back over on her stomach and pulled herself to her knees before standing up. Her left arm felt numb and she grasped it with her right hand, trying to ignore the seering pain. The others were thankfully alright. She shuffled over to them and leaned against the wall for support. "Well...that was eventful. Let's please get the hell out of here."
They moved through the halls without any interference from an opposing force. When the three passed another room, a body caught the corner of her eye through the window. "Hey, wait!" She peered inside and saw Kaine lying in a mess of...mess. "Oh my God. Kaine's in here." Kilala turned the knob and opened the door, nearly losing control of her own stomach at the smell permiating from the vomit and blood on the floor. "Hel...help me, guys."

When you are done making your escapes, you should move to the other thread, OUTSIDE, to rp getting into one of the vehicles. There are a few helicopters, but more vans. Most of the soldiers are 'expired', so there isn't much of a threat anymore outside. There are some soldiers from inside the facility who will be following the escapees outside undoubtedly.
(OOC: okie dokie guys... movin' everyone outside of the facility... so let's pick this up in the outside thread)
Raphael watched the soldier go down, then accepted Tristan's hand up and moved along after Kilala as she set the pace. They soon came to another observatory window which elicited what he imagined was almost the same response when she saw him in the room. He pulled his arm from around Tristan's shoulders. "Go help her... I can manage the short walk outside from here. Kaine can't." He forced a smile and then proceeded to make a slow progression after the three of them as they made their way outside.
Raphael exited the building behind Kilala, and Tristan who supported Kaine's unconscious form between them. Raphael pushed the door closed behind him, then made his way slowly towards one of the few remaining vans. He gladly took the offered support from a mutant among the rescue party outside, and let himself fall flat on his back on the floor of the van. He felt tired, drained both mentally and physically, and now that he was in relative safety and among friendly faces, closed his eyes and passed out once more.
