The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((Actually, you're going to have to work harder than that to suspend my disbelief that he just miraculously appeared here when the last place he was seen was Australia))
((that and it was a very disruptive entrance. I'm going to have to ask you to either rethink it or remove it. Just because you're in the plot, doesn't mean you need to show up right now. Abductions won't happen until later.))
Tattoo felt someone probbing at his mind and felt his mind blocks go up immediatly. To a telepath these Mind blocks would not feel normal it would feel like a metal bear trap clamping on thier brain. Now the only reason why it felt like that was because of the mental block that where in his head were installed by the labs and were pretty powerful indeed.
Tattoo almost laughed at the boy who asked him about how he turned over a new leaf but he managed to keep his composure. "I had began to realize the full extent of what I was doing and It didnt help to much when Fusionist decided to try to use his nural collars on me. I rebelled and So I decided to come to warn fellow mutants of his devious plan before it was to late." Tatto replied.
"These things." Tattoo stated reaching inside his bag. He pulled a large metal collars with many needles surrounding the end of it. He presse a button and a long tube shot up to where the neck would be would be with a long needle sticking out of it.
"It is basically a slave collar, when the person has the control for that particular collar that needle will come out and will strike the pain receptors in the body. They are starting a mutant slave trade for all of the mutants who do not obey Fusionist right away, they get sold off and has to do whatever thier master tells them or they will use the collar on them." Tattoo stated.
Mike's own defenses flared at the feedback, deflecting it around his mind. He honestly pitied anyone with less developed or less powerful defenses who tried to do that.

Nightlight became bored with the situation and skipped away, not understanding a word they were saying, the only thing that compelled her to look around the corner before she skipped off was the appearance of this very strange looking man named tattoo. A smirk ran across her face, he really looked funny, but then she turned and left.
--------
Fade could not take it anymore and finally said something, not giving away her position. "And a cold heart can suddenly melt at the sound of being controlled themselves, huh?" She asked, meaning that he seemed like he stopped because they were going to put something on him. "So you're greedy and decided that this Fusionist place was not a good place just because they wanted to put this collar on you? Basically, you're not one to be controlled, so what's to stop you from doing something to us if you feel your freedom is threatened?" She folded her invisible arms and stayed unnoticed, only allowing her voice to be heard.
Raphael resisted the urge to quirk an eyebrow at the man. Then cocked his head towards Fade as she spoke, his eyes flaring green for a moment and confirming her presence. "I'd happen to agree with Jenny." He stated, pulling his gaze over Tricity and Mike before settling on Tatoo. "Your reasoning does seem awfully self-centered... hardly 'seeing the light'. " He frowned a little bit, thinking he was beginning to see what the others were seeing in this fellow that was making them uncomfortable. "Or is there more to your story?"
Tattoo's eyes looked to the ground. "When I tried to rebell against Fusionist he killed my wife" Tattoo grumbled, showing them the wedding ring on his finger.
Tattoo nodded at the name. The only reason why his wife was called that was because of her ability to shape shift into anyperson in a persons memory. "Yes he did she was caught feeding some of the hungry mutant children candy and she paid with her life instead of a normal beating."
Tricity was very torn about the situation. She had plenty of questions to ask, but her fellow residents seem to be reading her mind as all the questions she wanted answered came out. Fade's voice made her jump, as she looked toward where the question was coming from. Skoliro's entrance didn't help either as the young man dropped from the ceiling and scared her.
"Christ, Skoliro...don't do that...sit down," she said, quite firmly, irritated that he was lurking above and dropping in on a very important meeting with a nonchalant greeting. As the others continued with their accusations and questioning, Tricity looked behind her at Mike to see if he was probing into Tattoo's mind. It appeared he was, but didn't look like he was getting the concrete information he was after. Tricity turned back around toward the man as the room fell silent from the questions. "Tattoo...where is Whitmore's, well, Fusionist's labs?"
"All across America." Tattoo stated simply, drumming his fingers. "His Main one is In salem but there are labs in every state and in every big city. I believe thier is one here in New york."
"In New York?" Mike bristled at the thought of them being so close by. "Do you know anything about it?"
"I'm getting nothing from him... he's got some very powerful psi-shields implanted in him. He could be stringing us along or mind controlled, and I wouldn't be able to know."
"Yes it is in some sort of Secluded forest with dirt roads and such. It wont be that easy to fine because it is virtually undectable by normal means," Tattoo smirked, "But none of us are normal are we?"
Tattoo's expression changed considerbly as his eyes wandered to his watch. "At this itme right now anyone in New york or anywhere in it is in danger of being taken. They will mainly strike in places like colleges and at parks but they will make sure it is secluded and not take much notice to mutants falling down due to tranq darts. Even if someone is on the road they will attack them, a student going to classes in collage, someone riding thier bike to the grocery store, no mutant will be safe."
Raphael listened to further explain his story. It did not seem likely, atleast to him. But he also chose not to voice his opinion at the moment. He took a moment to glance around those in the room, eyes settling on Jamal and Ruby, Tricity and Mike, over the vacant air where he had seen Fade's life-aura, then over Skoliro. He settled his gaze on Tatoo.
"What do you propose we do? Rush out and start a panic?" He wondered out loud. His eyes drifted from Tatoo to Tricity, wondering if she was buying everything the man said. "I mean... sure, we could warn those who are from this mansion... but wha' about the ones who ain't? I mean, we nabbing them would look just as bad... and certainly generate bad press for this place...." he then made a mental note to check on the press that was likely generated by the Whitmore incident at the museum. "or am I merely underestimating the PR of this place?"
He glanced around again, drawing a deep breath, then blowing it out slowly. He had not been able to protect Victoria, that much was obvious by her unconscious form still being in the infirmary under the careful watch of Dr. Prof. He figured, at least for his own mind's sake... he might be able to aid those out there in danger of being grabbed. "If... If we are gonna do somethin', I'd like to go ahead and volunteer."
"I volunteer as well, but I am still not sure I can trust him completely. What's in the bag?" She said, the curiousity or finding out what the contents of that bag were was tugging at her quite forcingly and she spoke out. After all, he could have some more of those collars for them. "Got anymore collars? Tranqs? Locating devices?" She asked, yes she may seem very rude right now but she had just suffered a long ordeal of stress and confusion to find that this really was the place for her. Yeah, she had compassion for those out of the streets since she had once been in that situation, but she had not been taken, however, that did not stop her from wishing that none of her other street-wanderers were in danger.

A wave of panic flooded through Mike at Tattoo's words. Daria had canceled on him earlier that day, unfortunately busy in the town. Was she really just taking that long...?
He shook his head, to clear it. "No, our PR isn't amazing or anything. The question, really, is how to go about it. If we run around chasing shadows, we're going to do more harm than good, not the least of it being to our credibility."
Still, he was sure he looked more anxious than he wanted to let on to. "We need to have a team meeting, I think," he thought to Tricity.

Tattoo rolled his eyes and dumped the contents of his bag out. All that was in there was merely, socks, shirts, pants and a tattoo kit. Nothing more, nothing less. "Satisfied? Now these soldiers are skilled and arent like General Whitmore's poorly trained losers." Tattoo laughed slighty before becoming serious,
"These men know almost every power in the book and are prepared to counter it. They are very skilled and will not hesitate to use whatever means nessary to complete thier mission."
