The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The clock struck two as the rain drowned out the bells of a large clock tower off in the distance. It was dark and cold as Bacchus looked threw a pair of night vision goggles, “Right on time!” Bacchus said to the two people that were on his left and right. “Just like Jon said, the supply ship comes in the harbor at two and docks at two-thirty.” Bacchus frowned as the goggles drifted down to the main gate, “Ohi Mate, you said you can handle electricity right?” asked Bacchus to the man on his right.
The man on the right came a small robotic chuckle threw the brace around his neck, “Yeah I can, but from the looks of it we don’t need to…” the man on the right pointed to a large walled off area that seemed to be glowing slightly on the inferred mode on the goggles, “What’s that?” asked Bacchus to the man on the right. “From the looks of it that’s the generator, I can see the energy coming from it.” Bacchus nodded as he looked to the man on the left, “Can you get in there without making to much of a racket?” asked Bacchus.
“I’m a phaser that’s what I do,” the man chuckled.
Bacchus nodded slightly as him and the other two began the decent down the hill. Bacchus looked up at the sky and smiled, “Perfect cover.” Said Bacchus as he dove behind a bush with a loud thud. He hated these stealth missions. Bacchus was a big guy and his mutation was anything but quite but for some reason Jon thought it was crucial to send Bacchus on these missions. Instead of being a body guard for Erica.
Bacchus clenched his fist slightly as he looked up from behind the bush his vision slightly enhanced by his mutation. ‘Why the hell would Gunner be the body guard…unless they were going to meet someone I could have a negative influence on…’ Bacchus looked around and gave the two men the signal as they all ran for the wall holding the generator. ‘Mission first questions later’ thought Bacchus as he tucked and rolled to the resounding in a loud thud once he leaned up against the wall.
Bacchus nodded to the phaser and whispered, “Go check it out.” The guy nodded and stuck his head threw the wall and quickly pulled it out gasping. “bad news…” in seconds a dozen lights focused around the three as search lights scattered around the base.
Bacchus could feel the vibration of a few tanks and could hear the blades of helicopters in motion. “Were, in trouble.” Nodded Bacchus to the two.

Bacchus removed his goggles as he made his skin invariable from the humans normal projectiles, quickly he yelled, “Take out that damn Generator fast! Then go to the rendezvous point!” “We were ordered to keep together added the phaser quickly as he grabbed on to the other bloke no phasing both of them protecting them from any harm that was about to come.
Bacchus stepped in front of the two pinning them to the wall as he started to grow he yelled, “That’s an Order! Go NOW!” yelled Bacchus as he pulled a slender buck knife from his back and in turn made it grow in proportion to his body so it became a very large and very dangerous buck knife.
Bacchus could see them phase threw the wall as he heard a large surge and crackle from the generator. Bacchus grinned as the power flickered slightly and then went out. Bacchus put the night vision goggles on his head and located the first set of tanks that were coming his way, “Only three?’ Bacchus chuckled as he walked closer to them as they began to fire at him.
Bacchus laughed as he slashed his buck knife in the first tank as it slid threw like butter he smiled, ‘really going to have to thank Smith again for this’ thought Bacchus as he kicked the next one flipping it over like a toy. The last one fired as much as it could before Bacchus brought the knife down like lighting. The knife pierced the tank with ease as Bacchus wiped the bullets the tanked fired from his shirt with a smile. ‘Glad this didn’t happen a few years ago… this would have been a lot harder.’ Thought Bacchus.
A flash of light pierced the sky and then another, it was becoming brighter as Bacchus’s eyes started to burn with the night vision goggles on. ‘A back up?’ Bacchus wondered as he looked at the power that was now filling the base. “Shit” said Bacchus as he clicked the earpiece, “you guys get it?” asking the two as put the knife in the sheath at his hip. “……” No answer, “Guys!.....” again no answer. “Damn it!” yelled Bacchus as he ran back to the main generator and saw two bodies laying next to each other.
Baccus frowned as he saw that his allies were surrounded by a firing squad of humans… ”AGGGHHH” yelled Bacchus as he lifted himself over the wall and landed on a six of the firing squad members. Bacchus looked to the generator and frowned, ‘this was the main generator…. A Backup? The base wasn’t supposed to have a back up! What the hell?’ Bacchus frowned as he took out the rest of the firing squad with a few sways of the hand.
Bacchus walked over to the two and shrunk down to his normal human size but still as dense as his Giant form and frowned to the two checking their pulse. ‘They were both still alive but what were they hit with?’ questioned Bacchus as he looked at a small dart in the phaser’s neck… Tranqs?’ asked Bacchus.

Thoughts were racing through Bacchus head as he pulled the dart from his neck with a look of confusion on his face. “Shit…” was all Bacchus said as he hit his watch which would give a radio frequency one of the mutants Jon kept on him at all times. Bacchus waited for a second to see if anything changed on the watch. Unfortunately Bacchus got a message a minute later saying ‘Con’t’ which was short for continue on the mission stragglers are left behind. “Like hell,” Bacchus mumbled as he tried growing.
Something was off… he wasn’t growing at all… Bacchus’s heart rate sky rocketed as he looked around and felt a sharp pain in his side followed by a gunshot. It was getting colder; Bacchus felt his body get heavier as things were starting to get dark. Shaking his head Bacchus fought with the dart that was now impaled in his back. Turning and pulling his knife Bacchus ran at the human with the dart gun.
A slash to the throat and the human was down. Bacchus felt his powers slowly fighting off the dart as it fell from his thickened skin. “Must have been one of tho… GHA!!” another dart followed by another and another. Bacchus fell to the ground, “Four Darts is to much…” Bacchus was down for the count as he felt his body get tied to something and dragged off.
The sound of water could be heard off in the distance as the storm outside was pelting the window with bullets of rain. Bacchus opened his eyes as a drop of water hit his temple, slowly followed by another and another. “Where…. where am I?” asked Bacchus as he lifted his head off the ground to feel that something was heavy around his neck. “Shit, not again…” muttered Bacchus as he knew what was around his neck.
It seems that every time that Bacchus is captured or abducted the first thing that is placed on his body is an old camp collar; it defiantly is effective but too much of a hassle. Bacchus sighed as he looked at his feet and arms that were now bare and had parcels on his wrist, which was chained to the floor.
“You got to be kidding me” Yelled Bacchus as he got up and looked closer at the wrist and ankle braces. “Limb collars?” gasped Bacchus as his entire body lit up like a Christmas tree thanks to a large amount of electricity passing threw the collar around his neck and the ones around his four limbs.

A howl of laughter could be heard as Bacchus screamed out laughing from the pain. Yes despite the pain Bacchus was still laughing. Once the power was turned down on the collars Bacchus tried to budge free from the chains with no luck. “Adapted huh?” Spat Bacchus with a little blood in his mouth.
As he said this four men walked out of the shadows near Bacchus laughing. He hated these people all of them. For a while they were considered as good as mutants in his mind but the majority sided with the humans. Which is the main reason Bacchus went out of his way to squash them along with the bugs the side with.
Bacchus looked around for the blokes that were on the mission with him and had no luck seeing them. However there was screaming off in the distance that sounded familiar to Bacchus. ‘Torture for information?’ wondered Bacchus as the Adapter’s drew closer to Bacchus who was chained to the ground.
A small tap sound could be heard as Bacchus hit his watch around his wrist as hard as he could sending the ‘S.O.S.’ hoping Jon would be more enthused to help him than he was about the others. “Hate stealth missions…”
