At least Lee wasn't going to be difficult. It helped matters considerably that he didn't have to fight against her attentions. Tarin almost laughed at that though, Lee hadn't ever been that type of girl. It was part of what was so attractive to him. The challenge made strides even more meaningful too.
Lee was reluctant to dance and Tarin grinned slightly. He wasn't an awesome dancer, never had been. It had been frustrating when he was younger and actually cared what people thought about him out on the floor. Now, there was only one person whose opinion mattered to him, and Tarin had a feeling she wasn't going to judge him poorly. "We'll be embarrassed together." he said, full on grin spreading across his features now.
So out to the dance floor they went, together. The music had a strong back beat and it only took Tarin a second to find it. There was nothing flashy about his dancing, but a lot could be said for simply having the beat and not looking too awkward. "See?" he said to Lee, "easy as pie, just find the rhythm...I know you've got good rhythm." he added with a sage wink. Let her take it as she would.

Despite her unease, Tarin was grinning broadly at her as he dragged her out to the dance floor. Why Tarin thought this was a good idea, Lee still didn't know, but drag her out to the dance floor he did. "Embarrassed together, cause that's sooo much better," Lee said, though a slight smile did curl the corners of her mouth as she said it.
But then they were out there, among the rather large group for the bar they were in, dancing. Though, like with the two-step dancing Tarin had made her attempt to learn,, once she got started and at least got going, she found it really wasn't quite as bad as she had worried.
They really hadn't been dancing long when Tarin winked at her, saying that he knew she had good rhythm. Reaching out to close the small distance between them, Lee gave Tarin a swat. "I thought you were making me dance so we didn't get carried away," Lee said to Tarin over the music, which was much louder here than at the bar. "So behave, will you?"
As they continued dancing, Lee decided, if a little reluctantly even to herself, that it really wasn't all that bade. Or, at least it wasn't while she was out there dancing with Tarin. And they were keeping their hands, and lips, off each other, unlike while they were standing at the bar. Well, not exactly completely off each other, for some reason, be it the alcohol, the environment, or the feelings that being re-engaged produced, they were touching much more than Lee thought she would have been comfortable with even just a couple days earlier. Chat a change just a few days could make, Lee thought as she danced, and wondered if this was going become normal for them in the future, this whole dancing thing to keep them from making a spectacle of themselves.
