The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Invert streched and yawned. He had only been here a night and was already fond of the place. He was heading out to get aquainted with his new surroundings and a bite to eat. Some new threds wouldn't be a bad idea either. There were people moving about preparing for their respective days. The commotion was almost comforting, almost boarder line chaotic one false word or action could make a nice mess. Invert choose to keep those thought inside, getting kicked out for having "fun" isnt the best way to make friends. Maybe an opporitunity will show it self on the street.
Isabel had decided just to relax on this particular day, which was why she was lounging in her room tucked into a rather beaten up old book from her bookshelf when her phone went off, buzzing loudly against her dresser as it began to vibrate, still switched on manners mode. The small screen displayed the name 'Big Guy' as an ID of the caller. The whole conversation didn't take more than a minute to begin and end. Apparently according to Abyss there was a new resident wandering the halls and he figured it might be a good idea for a few possible acquaintances to drift his way. Climbing down off her bed, she tucked her battered book back into its place in her bookshelves and slid her phone into a pocket of her plaid skirt. So much for her day in, though she didn't particularly mind. If this new kid was in the Sanctuary and Abyss had called on her to get him more acquainted with his new home, it was safe to assume he was a mutant. Isabel always had been more likely to play nice with her own kind. Plus, learning about new mutations and meeting their attached mutants was always an interesting experience. Her reading could wait, especially since she'd probably read that particular book at least three times by now.
It took a short while before she actually located the young man she assumed was the one she was supposed to meet, based on the description she'd been given by the Big Guy. The Sanctuary was a big place, and there was a good number of places the new kid could have wandered off to. Not to mention that it seemed to be a busier day for the famous building, with people milling about here and their doing whatever they'd had planned for the day. Though of course once she'd actually found him he was in the one place that new residents always had to go first when filling out their applications and such, that place being the Foyer. For a moment she simply observed the young man, mentally matching the different points of appearance she'd had listed for her before deciding that he was indeed the one she was supposed to be finding and introducing herself to. Casually she sauntered over the the stranger, watching him curiously as she approached, looking almost as if she were trying to figure him out before she slowed to a stop a short distance from him. "Haven't seen your face around here before," she said, giving a smile as she spoke, attempting to grab his attention. "I take it you're new around here. My name's Isabel, one of the long time residents in this place," she continued, holding out a hand to him in greeting. "Care to give me your name as well?"

Geo was working his moves on one of the mutant girls at the sanctuary. A cute little brunet that he had just discovered and she seemed to eat up every line he threw at her. She was leaned up against his car and Geo was leaning dangerously close to her. She was a mutant that controled fire named Wild Fire. Geo was whispering into her ear when his phone started to ring. Geo flipped open the phone without checking the ID, Yo," He said into the phone, as a general statement to declair his presence on the opposite side of the line. It was the Big Red Machine. He wanted Geo to show around a new guy, apperently Geo had earned enough status around the sanctuary to get called in for such things. He hung up with Abyss and looked at Wild Fire. "Sorry darlin', duty calls." He said juicing up his minute task to seem important to the girl. He gave her a peck on the hand before leaving the garage.
Geo walked into the main living area of the sanctuary, the occasional mutant passed through and Geo picked a random hallway from his central possition. He wandered around for a few minutes and realized he had no idea what the heck this new kid looked like. It would have been alot easier if Abyss had told him where to look. Geo stuffed his hands into his dark jean pockets, which always seemed to go well with the tight black t-shirt he was wearing. He eventually saw a gigantic green bow, one he had seen every now and again around the Order missions and a face that he hadn't seen before. Bingo. He must have not been the only one Abyss called. Geo walked up to the two like he was there the whole time, "Whats up?" He said smiling at the bow girl and the new kid.

"Haven't seen your face around here before," she said, giving a smile as she spoke, attempting to grab his attention. "I take it you're new around here. My name's Isabel, one of the long time residents in this place," she continued, holding out a hand to him in greeting. "Care to give me your name as well?"
Im being spoken too already Invert though as he turned to greet the girl, Isabel. "Hello," he said noticing the outstreched hand,"I'm Markus but you may call me Invert if you prefer" as he shook her hand.
Another body made itself apparent immediatly to Inverts left. It was male and trying to be casual "Whats up?"
"Hello. I'm Markus, but as i said to her you may call me Invert" He held his hand out as Isebel had before him. "You are?"
Isabel continued to smile pleasantly as her new acquaintance introduced himself, noting both names and committing them to memory, as well as the face attached to them. "Nice to meet you, Invert," she replied, choosing the latter name offered and letting her hand drop back to her side. Briefly she wondered what such a name could mean. While she knew what the word itself meant, she could only wonder what it implied when it came to a mutation, which she was just about positive he had now. Not many people without one chose an alias to go by. Then again, there always were exceptions to the rules, much like herself. Isabel had never chosen an alias. Any created name related to her mutation that she could think up in the past had just sounded silly, so she'd chosen to stick with her given name. Though as if to make up for it, she'd dropped her last name not long after her parents had abandoned her. If they didn't care enough to look after their own daughter, then she didn't care enough to keep their last name. She didn't particularly care for being traced back to a human family anyways. She was above them in her mutant nature, as she believed herself to be above all the rest of the human race. She was simply Isabel, and she had no family other than the one that had been created through the Order.
At the sound of a third voice making its owner known, Isabel's attention shifted to another young man joining in the conversation and making the pair into a small group. She raised one eyebrow curiously at him as he made himself quite at home in their presence. Oh, she knew him alright. His wasn't a face she would soon forget, if not for the fact that he was a member of the Order, then for the fact that he was forever flirting with just about every female in sight. He thought he was a real lady killer, that one did. "He goes by the name of Geo," she said in reply to Invert's question obviously not directed at her, though feeling no shyness in jumping right in anyways. "Though I just tend to call him Rockhead," she continued, being truthful in some way. She'd never actually called him that to his face, though that was only because they'd never formally met before. She'd seen him more than just occasionally around the Sanctuary and more often than not when on missions Syn had assigned them to do. If he had any objections to such a title, it didn't much matter to her. She simply have a smug little smile and waited for what was to come next.

The new mutant introduced himself as several names, his human name and his mutant name, Geo chose the later. "Nice to meet you Invert, I'm..." Isabel finished the rest for him, adding on her own little title, Geo simply looked at her and raised his eyebrows as if asking 'is that so?' He then turned back to Invert and shook his hand. "It's pretty nice around here, you'll like it I'm sure." He was a bit suprised at Isabel's sudden openness but then again as he thought about it she was someone he never really met before in more then just mission. Something he would have to remedy, all work and no play made 'Rockhead' a dull boy.
He then looked around the hallway at a few mutants passing through, the hallway. "So you don't really know the area do you, do you want a tour?" He asked, he had a good feeling that Abyss had wanted Issie to give the new mutant a tour as well so he thought he'd be the one to offer.

"Rockhead huh? Well Geo, pleased to meet you." Invert took his hand back. "A tour would be nice. But perhaps we could start with breakfast. Either one of you know a good resturant around here? I'll pay."
When Geo gave a skeptical look at Isabel's declaration of the little nickname she'd given him, she shot her own little look right back at him, though her's gave more of a message reading 'Who me?', coupling it with a little shrug, as if honestly not understanding why he'd looked at her in such a way. She was quite practiced with playing the sweet, innocent little girl. A good portion of the time she just used to it get her way and to keep out of minor trouble, kind of like her situation with Geo, though she didn't really believe he'd do anything. Other times it really did come in handy, such as the issue with her Trial. It wouldn't have done her any good if she'd appeared to by anything other than an innocent who was simply victim of circumstance. And it really wasn't anything unusual for her to be pinning others with nicknames. It was just something she used to amuse herself, really. Like how Abyss and his clones were the Big Guy, and Gore had become Dusty. Geo was simply joining the ranks of the nicknamed as Rockhead. Though of course it probably wouldn't be the only nickname he'd wind up with, depending on her mood at the time. But for now that would be the name to stick.
Casually she turned her attention away from the Rockhead and focused it back on Invert as he spoke in response to the Order member's offer of a tour. He'd beaten her to to offer, though she didn't particularly mind. It looked as if Geo would be tagging along with her and the new kid after all, as opposed to just joining in on the conversation for a moment. "Why not kill two birds with one stone?" she offered. "We've got an impressive cafeteria here in the Sanctuary. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, completely free of charge," she continued, always feeling like a walking advertisement whenever she explained such things to new residents. But she figured they'd have to figure this stuff out at some point anyways, and it was probably better to subject them to her poor imitation of a tour guide than leave them to fend for themselves with Lisa. That woman could trap a person for hours on one of her little tours packed full with Receptionist smiles and sugary sweetness. "Though if you prefer, there's a small breakfast place about two or three blocks down the road from here," she concluded, figuring she'd give him a bit more of an option to choose from.

Geo shrugged as Issie mentioned the food at the sanctuary, he had never actually eatin at the sanct, he always went out or ate at his garage. "Well I have a car so it wouldn't take to long to get there." He said jabbing his thumb in the direction of the garage. He never missed an oppritunity to go for a drive, no matter how short it was. He ran his fingers through his styled hair, he could tell this Issie girl was trouble, just the way she worked. He couldn't find anything out about the new guy yet, it was like this with all new mutants, if you wanted to learn about them you had to wait until they were comfortable to see how they normally acted.

"Theres always an opporitunity to eat here. Out sounds good I'm feeling rather generous today. And learning the area around me wouldnt be a bad way to start the day." Invert looked to his two companions for an answer. "Either way is fine with me but you know the area better so i leave it up to you." He pulled last nights 'winnings' out to check it, he had never counted last night to see how much he made. It was an unintentional activity he preformed no matter where he was, Invert never meant to flaunt his cash infront of anybody weather he had more or not. As he counted he got several looks ranging from amazed to dirty. $6000 the largest sum he had ever acquired in any night. Realizing the people around him he quickly tucked the money away again. Then addressed his companions once more "Sorry bad habit."
It wasn't much of a surprise that Geo brought up the fact that he had a car once Isabel thought on it. She'd seen the kid going in and out of the Garage more often than he came and went from the main building in the Sanctuary. Sometime she wondered if he lived in that place, finding it a bit hard to believe that someone would opt to sleep in a garage as opposed to a nice room within the Sanctuary. Then again, that may just have been her spoiled side doing the thinking. She raised an eyebrow somewhat uncertainly at Geo's offer to drive them over to the restaurant. It wasn't that she didn't trust the kid, seeing as he'd at least proved himself to be a reliable member of their team on past missions, it was just that she was a little wary of his driving skills. She'd never actually gotten into a car that he'd driven before, but she'd heard that he was a bit of a speed demon. To her he was just another guy trying to flaunt his stuff, and she wasn't really surprised that he flaunted at least part of whatever he wanted to flaunt in pretending to be a race car driver. She just didn't want to end up as a living test dummy.
However, her doubts for Geo's driving skills were abruptly put on hold when the new kid pulled out a wad of bills and began counting them to himself without hesitation or even much awareness of those around him. Her head gave a slight tilt, an outward sign of her curiosity at such an action, There were large bills tossed in with some smaller ones, but it was easy to tell it was a rather impressive amount of money, and far too much to be carrying on one's person in a casual atmosphere. In her personal opinion it wasn't much more than chump change. The Order was planning on robbing Fort Knox, after all. But she was impressed enough at his boldness in executing such an action. "No need to apologize to us, Invert. Though you may want to work a little bit on being more discreet about that kind of thing," she replied, giving another smile. "So, out to eat it is. Let's get going then. Not gonna get anywhere just standing here," she said, stepping away from the two boys and heading off toward the garage, signaling them to follow.

Score! Geo was gunna get to drive, "Alright then, to the bat mobile." He joked as he turned and walked towards the garage. He dug his keys out of his pocket and jingled them as he walked down the hall.
As he walked into the garage, which he was now very familiar with, he looked around until he saw a yellow mustang and a black motorcycle. He walked right up to his car and ran his finger along the spoiler. "A '69 Shelby Mustang, codenamed 'Hellbeast' she's been modded countless times by yours truly and tops at 230. She's my baby" He said, his voice dripping with pride.

"Im not used to being discreet. No body usually question my cash or the way i 'earn' it. As for food i do beleive our chaufer has decidedly taken point."Invert followed Geo down the halls to the garage.

"Very interesting. I may have work for you soon. After i 'dig up' some more cash that is. Shall we? Im starved."
Isabel supposed she shouldn't have been surprised that Geo's car was painted yellow. He did seem to like attention, especially from the female population. However, Geo's description of the car went right over her head. She didn't know the first thing about makes and models, nor did she really care. To her a car was a car. So long as the thing started and got her from point A to point B it made no difference to her. "Careful, Rockhead. Don't want to drool all over the nice shiny paint, do you?" she commented, managing to keep herself from rolling her eyes at how proud the boy seemed of his little machine. Patiently she waited for the doors to be unlocked before she climbed into the back seat under the pretense that the new kid got to ride shotgun, for now at least. However, in reality, she felt a little more secure in the back seat than she would have had she been seated up front, though she'd never admit to such a thing. For this once she even thought to use the seatbelt to help keep herself in place. As she'd thought on earlier, she'd never been in a car that had Geo behind the wheel before, and therefore she didn't trust his driving just yet. She shifted a little uncomfortably in the back seat as the boys climbed into the car and Geo started up the engine with an impressive roar. And before she even had time to grasp any last minute second thoughts they were rocketing out of the garage and down the street at a breakneck speed. If Isabel hadn't been trying to keep her heart from leaping out of her ribcage, she might just have smacked the Rocks-For-Brains.
Once they had finally arrived at the restaurant after what felt like ages to the young mutant, but had in reality taken less time than she'd imagined, she waited with far less patience to get out of the metal deathtrap than she had displayed waiting to get into it. She tried to put on a calm demeanor, but her eyes were perhaps a little too wide, and her hands had been clutching the edge of the seat just a little too tightly to make the act completely believable. "Next time, I'm finding my own ride," she commented, sending a glare in the speed demon's direction as she brushed passed him. Stupid boys and their stupid cars trying to give her a heart attack. She'd get him back for that eventually, she told herself before continuing her attempt to regain her previously careless mood.

Geo simply stuck his tounge out at Issie at her drool comment, so he likes his cars big deal. Then the new guy spoke about jobs. "What do you mean jobs, cause i got me a well paying one already." He was liking the benefits of being an Order member. They took off at break neck speed, as usual, and were at the restraunt almost instantly. Issie seemed a little flustered getting out of the car, "Sorry, I like to go fast. Second greatest rush in the world." He got out and closed his car door taking a deep breath of the fresh mornin air. He looked up at the restraunt. "This is your little gem? Don't look like much." Geo said shoving his hands into his pockets before hopping up on the curb.
