The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Nathan watched unimpressed as Amp left and Shade departed as well. Nathan couldn't have agreed more with Isabel's earlier statement of how they should be leaving already. Nathan started to get impatient. All he said was "I'll be there, waiting for you," and strode out of the garage.
Nathan continued out of the room and walked straight to the roof of the Sanctuary. It was a nice day out. The sun wasn't too bright and there was a light breeze present in the air. He continued his nonchalant stroll off the edge of the building.
As Nathan began to fall he spread his arms and triggered the muscle contractions that would cause his wings to come out. Nathan had body armor designed to where his wings could spread through carefully placed openings but still offer him protection. To someone down on the street it would look as if he was trying to commit suicide. But no. His wings came out, almost lazily as he caught the wind just right and flew towards the bank.
There was a time when he couldn't have done what he just did. Before he had joined the Order. After that event, when the wings appeared there also came a new way of thinking. He became someone else. He wasn't Nathan anymore. He was Seraph.
Geo shook his head as Amp drove off, they had wasted to much time just sitting around chatting and waiting. "Ok no more distractions we're out of here." He hopped in the car and started the engine, Swizel got back in his seat and a smile formed on Black Box's face,
"Vroom Vroom" He said in a deep raspy voice before putting on his helmet. Geo backed the car back quickly and drove out the garage door at his normal recklessly fast speed. Big Bang and Black Box followed on their motorcycles.
[[ooc: Ok i know this is a short post just wanna get this thing going, gunna have a flash forward to them pulling into the back alley of the Bank.]]
The Omega car screeched to a stop and Geo, Jinx, Swizel and Claydoll climbed out. Big Bang and Black Box pulled up behind them and climbed off their bikes. Geo popped open the trunk to his car and looked around, "Ok those of us who arn't suited with battle powers are getting fire power." reached into the trunk and pulled out a pistol and gave it to Clay Doll, a shot gun for Black Box, several revolvers for Jinx. "Swizel parking lot has an armored car, squeeze in and take the kid with you."
"Yo!" Swizel said before running around the corner, followed by Intel with his laptop in tote.
The shadow casted by the car began to puch against its barrier as to rose up like something from a horror film. Several inches above the ground, it tore open as the top of Shade's head entered into the sunlight. The rest of his body followed until his inivisible feet touched the rough concrete. Taking a step into the light, the shadow teleporter began fully visible.
"Took you long enough." Shade said, his evil grin cracked across his face, as he casted Geo a sightless gaze.
"Who do I get to escort around again?" He asked almost lazily. This little robbery wouldn't have required Shade to sneak in by himself, let alone bringing in another mutant.
After Amp left, it was like a chain reaction. One mutant after another in the little group separated and took off, all headed toward their destination to start a little destruction. She knew her part in the plan and she knew the part of the others. What she didn't know was how long it would take everyone to get themselves situated before the initial set of fireworks. She had decided she'd position herself outside either way. She didn't think Geo and his little group of pals would stroll out the front door with goodies in tow, but instead would make themselves another exit on either side of the building or out back. And so she would wait out front instead, where the cops were bound to start out once they got the distress call and got around to responding. Momentarily she wondered if there would be firemen and EMT's at the scene as well. She'd had a few encounters with them, though none were armed quite like the police. The EMT's rarely carried weapons, since they were tending to the injured, and firemen usually had an axe on hand. The axes were fun to play with and it made it easier for her to get to those swinging them. While a cop could raise one hand and fire of a few round, a fireman generally used two hands to brandish his weapon, needing to bring it up and over, leaving his midsection wide open in doing so. They never did seem to learn. Sticking the key into the ignition on her borrowed bike, she grinned as the machine roared to life. Quickly she threw up the kickstand and raged out of the garage and onto the street.
It was easy enough to follow the others on the bikes and in the car, though she knew the way to the bank regardless, erasing any apprehension that may have mounted over the possibility of losing site of the small team of mutants. Devilishly she weaved in and out of traffic, taking turns and swerves within dangerous proximity of traffic and curbs alike. However, since she'd already determined that getting blood all over Geo's bike wouldn't be nice of her, she left the pedestrians alone, settling on simply spooking a good number of other drivers. Just because she didn't call any of the vehicles her own didn't mean she couldn't drive well. And as soon as she'd arrived at the bank, she easily stashed the machine in one of the nearby alleys, removing the keys from the ignition and tucking them out of site. Casually she strolled out to the front of the building, keeping a short distance away from the door so as not to obstruct the civilians from entering and exiting. Leaning against the brick wall, she crossed her arms and simply relaxed for the moment. She watched the pedestrians coming and going with distaste, though her expression remained perfectly relaxed. She wasn't going to bother with these fools milling about out here. Those inside would be lucky enough for a front row seat to the show, and any that got in her way would be easily dealt with. But for the most part she was content with listening for the inevitable explosion within the building soon to be followed by the chorus of sirens that would signal the start of her part in this whole plan of Geo's. And while she didn't like to wait, she could certainly cope with doing so. This was going to be fun.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
