The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Specter nodded as he listened to Neena conditions. The one on one time he could hadle. After all he wasn't going to go into this thing half-cocked. He would need to learn her ways of teaching, the other students mutations, and offer any insight he might beable to provide. As far as the money went that still plauged him. Who had sent it and why? Was there really somebody out there than knew what was going on with him? Was Neena telling him everything she knew? Well for now he would have to put those questions on the back burner. As Neena held out her hand to seal the deal Specter did the same. "Very well I except. However I will not except payment for this. The money in that envelope is more than enough to last me. If you will not take it back than I can not take more. As for the one on one I am ready to start whenever you are."

Neena nodded, deciding not to argue with him about the money. He was a stubborn one, much like she was.
"All right then, that means I've got to change. How 'bout I meet you outside the Danger Room in, say...." She pulled out her cellphone to check the time. "Half an hour? I don't have class today, so hopefully it will be unoccupied."
Neena wanted to start immediately. Well that was fine with Specter the only problem was he had never heard of a place called the Danger Room. He had been so stressed over his lost memory when he came to the mansion that he had never taken a tour. Specter thought he had found the most important spots on his own. There was his room, the gym, the libary, and the kitchen. What more did a person like himself need to know. "Maybe we can make that an hour back here? I was just about to take a shower, and get something to eat when you knocked. Also I do not know of this Danger Room place. So you will have to show me if you do not wish me to be late for our meeting. Other wise I am ready for whatever you wish to throw my way."
"Maybe we can make that an hour back here? I was just about to take a shower, and get something to eat when you knocked."
"Oh, sorry 'bout that. Yeah, an hour works great. Hm... food does sound good...." When had she eaten breakfast?
"Also I do not know of this Danger Room place. So you will have to show me if you do not wish me to be late for our meeting. Other wise I am ready for whatever you wish to throw my way."
"You haven't been to the DR yet? Wow, I'd've thought sure some of the younger crew would try to drag you down there already." She smiled. "Oh, you're gonna love this place. 'kay, I'll meet ya here in an hour. See ya ki-erm.... Marcus. Sorry. See ya later." She grinned, and headed back down the hall toward the stairs.
