Lee was relieved that Tarin seemed to understand the fact that she couldn't really explain her newfound skills with her siphoning. That was good, that was reassuring. But then he was moving closer to her again, reaching his hand out, and Lee stiffened. She didn't flinch, didn't move away, she just simply stopped moving as she watched Tarin.
And then Lee felt Tarin move some hair out of her face. Even though she had already realized that she was going to have to try harder, Lee knew it was definitely going to take some time on the whole contact issue. Lee just nodded to what Tarin said about her taking care, being careful. It did make sense, but there was only so much she could do in those situations, only so much of a point that she could leave Tarin stuck in a merge if she could help.
And, it turned out, Tarin had already hired this Garrett guy. As she sat there, Lee wasn't sure what she felt about that fact, but it was Tarin's shop, it was his decision.
Well, maybe Tarin wasn't think it was her decision too, but not till she was actually back in the shop, not till she had gotten things organized and sorted out again. "Alright, that works," Lee told Tarin.
Glancing briefly at his hand, which was still extended out toward her, Lee looked back at Tarin. "So, what now?"

Tarin watched Lee's reaction more closely and she didn't move. She just sat still and looked at him, he could see it though, she was coiled as tightly as a spring as he reached out and moved the hair out of her face. He didn't linger, he leaned back against the cushions and watched her.
She seemed alright with the knowledge that he'd actually hired the kid in the shop now and Tarin congratulated himself on his ability to calm Lee's earlier discomfort. That also meant that she was coming back to the shop. There was nothing more to say about it, and Tarin figured that not pushing the subject would be a wonderful idea in these circumstances.
Lee was asking what now and Tarin tilted his head at her, a slow smile spreading across his features, "Well..." he said, "I think maybe dinner would be a good idea. ..then possibly some TV?"
