Specter removed Neena's hand emediately this time as he picked himself back up. "Thnak you no, I must find answers on own. It is not others burden." The truth was Specter didn't want anyone else knowing of his memory loss. He saw it as a weakness that could be exploited if somebody learned how. He would just have to go on and become stronger despite his set back. One day he would find the answers he needed, but until then he would take Neena's advice and become his own person. Built on his own strength and endurence. For now though he needed to become more familar with his new home. It would seem he would be staying here for an unknown amount of time. "If alright I wish explore. Learn of resedence, and people. Alone with can be so." Specter walked to the door of the office ready to start his new life. With a mansion full of mutant's, and a city that never slept, he was sure that he wasn't going to be boredd. Also somewhere out there were clues to who he was he just had to find them. As his hand began to turn the knob to the door Specter have looked back over his shoulder. "Thank you." and with that he was out the door.

Neena sighed as she watched him go. She really felt sorry for him in some ways. Personally, she would love to forget most of her past life. But only most of it, and only the part she could choose. Like her grandmother, and her father and step mothers. But she couldn't imagine not remembering her grandfather. Not being able to remember the extent of his kindness would be awful.
But for everything to be gone? She couldn't imagine the frustration that came with amnesia. A blank, nothing. Like the computer screen when it turned off....
Abruptly a frown creased her brow. She walked back to the computer. That little red star still blinked next to Marcus's name. That little icon meant that something else had been in that file, something from Xavier. She looked down at the file she still held. Opening it, she took yet another look, much, much closer this time.
--------------------------------
It took nearly half an hour of searching before Neena finally retrieved the envelope under the bookcase.
"That's it," she grumbled to herself. "You've lost your edge, old gal. Time for some old-fashioned, real world, hand's on practice."
She pulled the letter out of the envelope and read it quickly. It was addressed to Tricity, as the Headmistress, and dated not long after the Registration Law had been overturned. That was probably why Neena hadn't seen it before.
Neena chewed on her lip for a moment. Something in the vagueness of the letter made a red flag rise in her mind. Not that she doubted Mr. X. Maybe it was just her inborn curiosity. Either way, she wasn't going to let this one completely rest.
She replaced Marcus's file, minus the letter, and stuck the letter into one of the locked cabinets. Then she shut down the computer and headed out to check on things elsewhere.
