Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Outside, the estate just appeared abandoned. A walkabout merely revealed that the gardener was going to have a full-time job for at least a week.

The lake looked none the worse for wear, though the boats would need replacing. In fact, as she drew closer, a chorus of angry quacking revealed that a pair of ducks had decided to use one of them for a nifty nest. A quick, xray-assisted peek showed that it would soon be a family of ducks. Neena grinned and gave the expecting couple a wide berth as she moved on.

The pool was a wreck. From what she remembered, that had happened during the Crazy Girl incident. What was her name? Irene? Ivy? Either way, that would need an overhaul too. She added that to her priority list, since summer was fast coming. The students were likely to rebel without a way to cool down.

Tennis courts.... just needed some maintenance. Same for the basket ball courts, though one hoop was broken off and lying nearby. All in all, nothing overly serious.

After spending a few moments to revel in being outside of her own volition, Neena turned and headed back inside.
