The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Appearance Hair color and style: Sirius is organic metal so doesn’t have hair. Eyes: Electric Blue Height: 6’ 8’’ Build: Lanky, Lean. Visible Mutation: Sirius looks like a robotic man, as if a car had been reassembled in human form. Scars: The wear and tear on his paint job. Tattoos: Any symbols attributed to his car design generally littered over his body. Piercings: None
Everyday clothing: He needs no “clothing” as his body is made of the parts of his car form. Uniform (Optional. Required if eventually becoming part of the X-Men): If required he could have a symbol painted on his shoulders. Sleepwear: lol. Miscellaneous clothing: He needs no “clothing” as his body is made of the parts of his car form.
Character Personality: At first glance an almost imposing indifference, slack, and reserved. Tends to require time in order to familiarise himself with others and to trust them. Is more amicable with those that he knows better, likes to joke about and generally go with the flow of whatever’s happening. Sirius is quick to anger, and rarely talks about his past. The bravado of indifference seems to exemplify his insecurities to those who know him better. Hobbies/Interests: Basketball, tinkering with machines, loud music and driving/racing. Employment: Before his disappearance, he worked under the Kabal. Fears/Phobias/Concerns: Feels disconnected from others considering his looks and abilities, his mutation has been a constant worry for him over his recent life, as he feels both angry and glad to be what he is. He cares for his friends and after losing the love and affection of his family, due to his mutation, is afraid that his friends will also abandon him. Special talents: Mechanical engineering, driving and vehicle maintenance.
Morality Neutral: Although he has a notion of what is right and wrong he very rarely acts unless it is in the interests of himself and those he cares for.
Mutation Mutation description: Human Transformer: Is made of organic metal, Sirius can transform from his humanoid form into a single car form: an Audi R8. He manipulates his own body matter and then exponentially multiplies his organic matter to the form of an Audi R8. As it is, he has limited control over the amount of matter he possesses. His humanoid form takes the appearances of his Audi car parts but making up a humanoid form. These obviously are smaller as his matter shrinks back to human size. Strengths: He is not vulnerable to many organic diseases that would affect normal humans, he is much stronger given his mechanical make up and is naturally well armoured and resistant to more than someone of flesh and blood. In car form he is fast and much more adept at driving (considering that he is the car rather than driving the car. Severe injuries can be repaired with more ease than say “repairing” a human. Weaknesses: He is unable to fit in with “normal” society considering his appearance. His transforming ability is limited only to his transforming into said single form. Transforming into his car form is limited by time and costs him fatigue. If damaged while in car form he takes significantly more damage as his organic matter is more vulnerable and less damage resistant. He may only transform after replicating enough matter. Any high calibre rounds, high heat attacks and large levels of electricity will severely damage his systems, which would require actual repairs rather than the simple replication of matter. Again, this reduces his ability to transform.
Further Information on Sirius’s Mutation This is an explanation of the composition and relation between Sirius's organic and non-organic materials. It also clarifies issues about his general biology.
Sirius is a hybrid of organic and non-organic compounds. His matter is a collation of the two. He is no longer of the human 'species' as such due to his unique genetic makeup and inability to procreate. His human organs are now separate car parts, and in essence can still function to an extent, he no longer has blood but instead burns fuel. His stomach is now his fuel tank, and to an extent it can break down certain materials, but not an extensive amount as it pollutes the fuel and so can cause Sirius to malfunction. However the advantage of it being a fuel tank is that it can be cleaned just like any other fuel tank on a car. He no longer has the senses of touch, but his brain has coped by utilising memories of touch senses so that he feels that he can sense what he is touching. This is very much like the cases of amputation patients where their brains create sensory activity as if the removed limb was there, i.e. an itch, or the sense of it resting on an object, etc. This is the same for feelings like pain, where the c-fibres are no longer present to fire but his brain stimulates artificial feelings of relevant pain levels to the subject of cause. It is apparent that his "nervous system" is either no longer [replaced by say the machinations and wirings that serve to move and control his body] there or different to the extent that it is completely different to the natural forms of nervous systems.
His entire body no longer functions like a humans body, obviously. He does not have blood and so cannot be infected with viruses or common disease. On the downside he uses electricity within his systems and so he is extremely sensitive to EMP and forms of electrical drain or overload. Another clear disadvantage is that he no longer is capable of sexual activity, he is "male" for his mutation but scientifically he is technically androgenous as while his sexual organs are still there they serve different purposes and obviously cannot be used to procreate any longer. As is stated at the bottom of his mutation cons he is able to repair himself, this goes beyond his simple matter regeneration and extends to the repairs that could be used on a car. These of course are much more complex and must be done by another while Sirius is in car form, as when he is in his humanoid form he has shrunk his body size so to be a more 'human' size. One cannot fit or repair a car part when it is not of the right size and thus another must 'operate' on his body when it is in car form. As such his lifespan also hybrids between a cars and a humans span. His body can be maintained as long as a car can be, while his mind would be expected to last as long as a human's could. This adds a potential advantage or disadvantage to his lifespan, as if his body and mind can be maintained at a functional level indefinitely then it is plausible that he may live much longer than a normal humans, yet it is entirely plausible that if an irreplaceable car part [Or if he simply isn't maintained] malfunctions or his mind ceases to function to a significant capacity then he will die.
Sirius is incredibly vulnerable to EMP, it can potentially kill him if he is already in a state of large enough damage. Even when in perfect health an EMP pulse will knock him out for several hours. The reason he does not die to any EMP pulse is simply because he is not entirely machine, his organic systems have an integrated way to return systems to functional capacity provided the EMP damage was not to great. While of course nuclear EMP is fatal to Sirius, NNEMP (non-nuclear EMP) is less effective to an extent. There are still levels of NNEMP that will kill Sirius but if the circumstances are right he can generally recover from a pulse of NNEMP. However his systems will need thorough checking and maintenance, not to mention the neurological damage dealt by an EMP pulse could be devastating to things like memory and cognitive function that Sirius may never fully recover from. As such, Sirius can recover from the vast majority of NNEMP pulses. He will be severely damaged by such pulses but he can at least survive. Nuclear EMP is fatal where Sirius is concerned.
Fighting Style Explanation: Unarmed brawling, fine tuned through active service under the Kabal. Given a sword he has a proficiency at fencing (using a sabre technique) Pros for fighting style: Sirius learnt how to fight as a kid, and after joining the Kabal was taught how to better apply his combat in relation to his size and strength. He is strong and knows how to professionally subdue opponents quietly or loudly. He has a keen knowledge of fencing, and given a weapon tailored for his size can utilise his technique and strength to overcome other opponents. Cons for fighting style: Sirius is big, and his size makes him and easy target. His style is slower than most and so quick fighters often get their attacks in first. Sirius requires most weapons to be designed for him, as he is 6’8” and pretty thick set. He can wield heavy weaponry but smaller arms are too delicate for him.
Faction Allegiance Slade still thinks of himself as Kabal, but his recent disappearance may have changed this.
History of your Character Sirius Ravenscroft grew up in Detroit, his family was not wealthy but he ascertained a scholarship in mechanical engineering. During his course he got jobs across town working on projects and different car testing, and eventually began work with a man called Fred Holdst who would grow to become his closest companion. Fred was an inventor, and his ideas were wild and often curiously dangerous. Sirius would work day and night installing different machines and gyzmos into this old car for Fred, and they remained firm associates and friends right through his completion of his scholarship and into his new career. Over the next year Sirius would work on any idea Fred proposed, Fred’s new company, Slade industries, offering the financial support for Fred and Sirius to work on more ambitious projects.
It was not until late in the summer of Sirius’s 24th year of age that he became a mutant. Fred Holdst finally found the idea to make his place in the footnotes of engineering brilliance. It was the creation of a new device that using gamma radiation would be able to create metal that could replicate its own forms. Essentially it would revolutionise the machine production industry, by using one version of a set of machinery this could be replicated to make almost endless supplies of these particular machines. The device was complex and Sirius was only there to install it, he knew nothing of how it worked and only understood that for once Fred was getting recognition for his inventory genius. The initial testing procedures went to plan, and on the last night of September in Sirius’s 24th year of age they put the device into action.
Everything started off to plan, the device began to direct its energy towards the machine of its intention, and the machine (an old Audi R8) began to replicate. Yet for unknown reasons during the process something overloaded the devices systems and it began to dangerously overheat. Desperate not to let Fred’s work fail at such an important time Sirius desperately attempted to fix the energy overload, but his efforts were futile and the unpredictable device exploded, throwing Sirius into the replicating Audi R8. As he came to in what seemed a few years later, he stood slowly and realised his co-workers had been killed by the explosion. He had failed to fix the device and now the one man that Sirius cared for as much as his family was dead. His being thrown into the replicating machine had somehow mutated his body into a humanoid form of the Audi R8 that was the subject of the replicating process. He was somehow a metal human. His ability, however, was not that of replication, but of manipulation.
He found that by will he could transform into the car that was an Audi R8. He now needed fuel rather than conventional food and drink to survive, although he could eat or drink very small amounts of normal sustenance without becoming ill. Sirius found that if he ate more than a saucer of conventional food or a bottle of beer a day he would become severely ill until it passed out of his systems.
He suffered great grief and loss at losing Fred Holdst, and his transformation had lost him his family as they rejected him as a mutant. Overwhelmed with isolation, rejection, loss and anger he fled Detroit in search of a new life, a life where he could exist with this new ability, or curse. He renamed himself after Fred’s old company, Slade, and set out not willing to remember any of the sufferings he has gone through. For the past few years he has lived off the basics, offering his experience as a mechanic to those mutants who would accept him. Recently he seems to have claimed a bigger calling, having offered his services as a bodyguard as sorts, not to mention a chauffeur of an ironic kind. --- Sirius spent a long time isolated, for reasons not yet explained to his previous employers or friends, and has only just returned to the American continent. He has tried to change a great deal, he found that in order to change and to maybe one day forget his past he needed to try and reinvent himself. Upon hearing rumours of a group of people that could reverse mutation, Sirius absconded from his duties and travelled around the globe in search of this group. After months of travelling he found that the group had been killed by mutant extremists, he even heard rumours that it had been a scam anyway. Sirius felt crushed after having hope for a normal life again, feeling unable to return to America where he would feel the repercussions of deserting the Kabal he kept moving around, doing odd jobs for different groups that would give him access to fuel and other small necessities.
Such an existence could not satisfy Sirius forever, however. Blown by the failed attempts to find a return to normality and crushed by the returning reality of holding this form forever, Sirius has returned to America. He recognises himself as “Gears” now, after a kid he used as a guide in Eurasia kept calling him. Sirius doesn’t know what will happen to him; whether he’ll be welcomed by the Kabal or attacked, how his old friends are doing or whether they’ll still consider him as a friend.
Roleplay Where did you learn about this site?: Hunter Antonescu. Other accounts on MRO: No. Sample RP: [In this rp, Sirius is named Slade because at the time it was what he was known as.] In the mutant downtowns, early afternoon, a large Bronx man with a sleazy demeanour and a belly larger than his attitude ploughed back into the rundown garage work shed he owned. Holding a sandwich in both of his grubby hands, balancing a cigarette between his yellow teeth he yelled out into the dry and grimy work space, “Yo Slade, you gonna have that Gasket sorted for Miss Havalsham by five tonight? I promised her she’d get it by then and you know how she hates to pay for her sh*t.” The welding tool behind a banged up automobile’s front hood flared and dissipated, from behind it a silver figure looked up, his electric blue eyes lightening up the dank work space. The silver mechanic’s visible torso seemed to be made of both external and internal engine parts. Circling his head from left to right he stood up, replying softly in a thick African American Detroit accent. “No problems there Goosh, you finish your sandwich and then get me the parts I need so I can finish this hunk of junk.” Walking out the silver figure’s entire body was shown to be made of a malleable metal, all formed into what seemed to be the engine parts of an Audi R8. As he walked over to the canister of oil Goosh took a bite out of his triple meat sandwich, observing with a never ending interest of how the silver man’s parts whirred and moved as he walked, the car’s parts used by this man for an entirely different purpose. “F*ck me Slade you’ve been here two months and I still can’t get used to all those car parts working you like my own body.” Goosh muttered, more to himself than anything. He’d seen some inhuman mutants but looking like a human car, this was definitely new. Yet it seemed an appropriate mutation considering his profession, who better to fix a car than a conscious car? “We’re running out of oil Goosh, if you could get some more by tomorrow it’d be well appreciated.” coughed Slade, emptying the contents of the canister into his open mouth. That was another thing Goosh couldn’t understand… what was wrong with a simple sandwich? “Yeah yeah quit your whining I wouldn’t want to you run out of gas in the middle of Haversham’s job, what a nightmare that would be jeesh!” The rotund man waddled out of the work space as the welding tool flared up again. Despite Slade’s obvious mutation, Goosh thought, the guy was an asset no doubt about that. He pushed open the door to his office and laid back, hoping to hell that the Haversham lady wouldn’t pick up a fuss this time.
Later that evening as Slade was shutting up shop, he heard a crack from over the road where the office was. This troubled Slade, usually Goosh left home long before now. He knew Goosh would have his ass if he didn’t go check it out. Grabbing his bag he locked the work space and trudged over to the office. Peering over he saw figures shadows cast against the blinds moving rapidly around the room. More cautiously he moved to the door, listening hard to discern what purpose these people were in Goosh’s office for. “Benny, grab the stuff and get a move on, this is taking too long!” “Alright Jim don’t tell me what to do! Let’s get out of here.” Stumbling back Slade tried to find a place to hide before they reached the door but only managed a few steps before two lithe men pushed out of the small office. They froze, staring at Slade, he glanced between the two of them tense with his fists clenched. The one on the left flung out his arms and they stretched, thrusting into Slade’s torso. This man was stronger than he looked, knocking Slade back off his feet. He felt his metallic torso cave slightly as the thief’s fists barrelled into Slade’s chest. The other opened his mouth and from it poured a dark gaseous substance that choked the air and turned all to darkness. Slade staggered to his feet and lunged for where the arm-stretching thief had been and felt his hands connect with a body. Rolling into the robber’s back he grabbed the man’s arms kneeling over the struggling man until his mechanical strength won through. Knocking his fist into the man’s temple he stood staring wildly around for the other man.
A car screeched out from behind an alleyway and an old motor flung itself down the deserted road. Slade growled and began to jog in the direction of the vehicle. In a single deft leap his body began to reassemble itself, expanding and growing into full sized car parts that fitted themselves in what was considered their natural position. Landing on the tarmac, the now dusty Audi R8 propelled itself forward, Slade accelerating beyond the legal limit in pursuit of this criminal. Catapulting around a corner he regained sight of the target motor vehicle and charged towards it. The criminal seemed to work out that he was being followed and his driving became dangerously erratic, sweeping across the lanes and shooting through red lights and over cross roads. Slade’s speed began to tell however, and he pulled level with the gaseous man, attempting to cut off the man in flight. The thief lost his nerve and set down on the brakes, his car jolting to a tyre rending stop. Slade, tired from his exertion from the car chase transformed again, the description of which can only be described with the vision of Slade pulling his humanoid form out for the front of the Audi’s chassis. Grinding to a halt, Slade turned and the shocked man pulled out a semi automatic and let loose on Slade. He raised his right arm defensively and took the brunt of the gun fire with it. He levelled it out in front of him, using it to deflect the now terrified man’s shots. He felt the impacts reverberate through him and anger mixed with pain coursed through his body, without thinking he leapt forwards towards the target. Slade flinched as his body slammed in to the fleshy mutant, they hit the dirt and took enough care not to fatally crush the man under the weight of his body
Slade kept his right hand firmly on the mutant’s chest, it was next to no effort to keep this guy pinned down. “What were you doing in my boss’s office, why did you use your mutant powers against me?” Slade asked sternly, his electric blue eyes flashing furiously. “We were just robbing the joint, what do you expect us to do when a guy creeps up on us during a job?” The now pale man stuttered, his left arm limp and bleeding profusely. He coughed violently, the guy probably had a few ribs broken from Slade’s tackle. “You’re a disgrace to mutants, hurt the humans not us!” “I’m dropping you and your associate off by the station, count yourself lucky I’m not a bad guy or you might have got worse than a trip to the joint.” Slade snapped, he stood up, grabbing the weakening man by the torso and shouldering him. As far as Slade was concerned, he’d had enough action and heard enough sh*t for one night.
Next morning, Goosh pulled Slade into the office. The place was trashed and Goosh had been forced to bring in the old chairs from the skip so they could sit down. Slade did so awkwardly, his body wasn’t designed for such conventional chairs. “So Slade, you saved me a lot of trouble last night. Don’t know how I can thank you! Why a mutant would ever steal from another mutant I don’t know… goes against common courtesy like you’d think.” Goosh wheezed, his large appearance overwhelming the old and battered replacement chair. “I mean, you seem to have some talent kid, you fix cars and beat up no good punks. Did you never think of going for a police job?” “All I want is to pay my way and live quietly. My abilities weren’t bestowed to me by choice, and I don’t think revealing my abilities is a great idea. People haven’t shown my mutations a lot of love in the past if you get me.” Slade trawled, his face deep with fatigue and sombreness. “All I’m sayin’ Slade is that you can do better than this. As good a mechanic you are you could make much better money doin’ other things. I don’t want you working just as a mechanic all your life that’s a waste of talent. You should get yourself involved with one of these mutant groups, you know be a bodyguard or a chauffeur you know you fit the part, and you have the ability.” “Goddamnit Goosh I aint findin’ some mutant group to parade myself, I’m happy as I am.” Slade blasted at Goosh, his fists clenched and his body whining as it clenched rigid tight. “You’re never gonna be happy Slade, and if you don’t look for them they sure as hell are gonna be lookin’ for you after last night’s cafuffle!” Goosh retorted with as much passion, “I’ve always seen when someone’s outgrown their station, and soon enough you’ll realise that too. Now get out of here and do something with your life before you realise it’s too late.” Goosh paused, Slade sat still in his seat. “GET OUT DAMNIT!” Slade sat for a moment, glaring at Goosh, before pushing up and striding out of the busted up office. He snarled in his thoughts as he walked away from a job he’d been perfectly happy with. He didn’t ask for this, why should he go out of his way to join mutants and others just to implement his abilities that he himself hated half the time. He couldn’t go back now, Goosh wouldn’t let him. All he wanted was for peace of mind, and the basic needs to keep him going in life. He had no idea what was going to happen next, he only knew it was going to be different from what he’d hoped to do. --- Link to Attribute Profile: -Attribute Profile- Link to FP Attribute Profile:-FP Attribute Profile-
Totally love the power. Be sure to check out this page to stay up-to-date with things and get into the game quickly Gotta be a nag thogh- can you resize your avvie for us please so it doesnt offset the board size? Thanks!
I really like the character and your design, its really creative and different. Btw - i know it has nothing to do with your profile - but i love the transformers film! hehe. Anyways. Looking forward to seein him in action xx
Ok, so here is Slade's future profile. It is approved by Calliope.
Future Power: His normal levels of current powers are increased, but so are the repercussions of overusing these abilities. Having experimented on his own mutation and its causes over the last decade, and using Hunter’s extensive repertoire of technological assets has managed to assert notions upon his own mutation and its limits. He redesigned the original machine to a new set of parameters. Under the supervision of his team he began his experiments and after an extensive year of tests he managed to manipulate his own mutation in a single way. He had managed to create a new form of natural weaponry. He could replicate and manipulate the matter in his left arm to extend a blade from it. The matter is borne from his fore arm and wrist and as such is about 12 inches in length and 4 inches in width. It extends and retracts directly over the metacarpals of his hand. He also had improved his auto pistol ammunition. He found he could now change the types of rounds that he fired. On top of the standard ammunition he could create [around the size of a NATO 7.62mm round], he now found he could fire jacketed hollow point rounds [similar to the .38-40 Winchester rounds] and light vehicle penetrating rounds [around the size of a .50 BMG cartridge but more explosive]. While being able to fire less hollow point rounds they penetrate and damage objects at a more efficient rate. The light vehicle penetration rounds are very limited, only a few rounds could be fired with larger disadvantages but can be used to take out tougher targets.
FP Disadvantages: The experiment took a heavy toll on Slade’s mind. Slade broke down after his final experiment where he attained his blade weaponry and ammunition types. The pain that the experiment caused created huge mental trauma from which Slade was incapacitated for at least half a year. When he recovered from the trauma he had lost the memory of the last two years.
Mr Antonescu quite sensibly withheld Slade’s research, having witnessed the psychological trauma it had procured. Slade feels lost and confused as he enters the future plot, and is still coming to terms with the loss of his memory. As such Slade will never again be able to improve or change his first mutation of matter replication (or his human transformation). Even if he manages to remember the last two years he would understand that it would be too dangerous for him to ever experiment again. The loss of two years also made him very nervous in intimate situations with others, if triggered he could lapse into a nervous attack and if it is serious enough he may suffer a nervous breakdown.
His blade holds large weaknesses, it uses substantially more matter than his auto pistol. This means that his left forearm is largely weakened if hit. As such he will always try to defend from the right side with his shield. When hit on the left forearm he feels substantially more pain, not to mention the structure is far weaker and more prone to damage. It also wears him out in a larger manner than his right arms transformations.
His new ammunition types both hold further weaknesses. The hollow points are more difficult to create and so Slade can fire less of them than his standard ammunition. They also causes substantially more pain which can cause Slade disorientation and prevents him from using his blade. All weaknesses that apply to his normal weaponry also apply to this. His high penetration rounds for light vehicles can only fire five rounds per 24 hours, during which Slade cannot use his auto pistol or any of its rounds should he fire all five of the rounds [this is until he may use the auto pistol again, and this also relies upon if he has replicated sufficient matter to use it considering matter replication of his weaponry can take up to a week]. Each round can disorientate him upon firing and so he must take a few minutes between each round to recuperate. This makes him extremely vulnerable if against a large number of enemy contacts should he have to use these rounds.
FP History: Slade worked for Mr Antonescu as a member of the Kabal and as the chief mechanical engineer for the Mondragon vehicle labs. He made a group of friends within the group and moved up and down the ranks of the business. He learnt a lot about the company and its activities. He really loved working for it and the research with his job began to create ideas about his powers that Slade previously hadn’t thought of. He eventually worked out that if he could replicate the original radiation that caused his mutation he may be able to further his mutation to new areas. This idea, however, had to wait as Hunter kept Slade busy with many jobs and tasks that surpassed Slade’s personal experiments. He would learn many skills and notions from his time under the service of Mr Antonescu.
Four years into his working under Mr Antonescu, Slade was sent to Europe to help with upcoming research for the company. This was the point when Slade also began researching into his own mutation. Slade during this time began to feel more and more distant from others due to his mutation making it unrealistic for him to hold any meaningful relationship. He had not felt so distant since the revealing of his powers, he surmised that it must be due to the isolation of working in Europe away from what was familiar to him. Being far from America seemed to exacerbate the feelings of isolation that Slade held. After his time in Europe was over he returned to America and he returned, for a while, to his normal state of mind and routine. Once he had recovered to a state where he felt competent he began to spend more and more time researching into his mutation. This would lead to his mental breakdown. The side effects of the experimentation were almost fatal and resulted in the memory loss of the previous two years of his life. As he recovers he enters the FP searching for answers of his lost memory. He is returned to his normal mental state but is in a vulnerable time, and unfamiliar problems could trigger relapses into the problems of his past.
Profile as approved by Calliope:
Strength: 15/10 - his human strength would not be superhuman but he would have, fighting for hunter's kabal, attuned his strength levels to its current peak. This would easily be beyond normal human strength as he uses mechanical ligaments rather than normal muscles due to his being made of a car. his car strength represents his engine strength growing as he modifies and improves his systems over the years.
Agility: 11/20 - Again, his human agility extensive training combined with his mechanical supports and systems he would be of a higher dexterity than the normal person. his car's agility is representative of his speed and his driving skills, which are exceptional in comparison to other drivers.
Mental Strength: 10/10 - Working for the Kabal over the years he has come into contact with the mentally offensive mutants, and as such has trained to an extent through theory and practice in the 'field' to work on this. while he could block out a psychic attack most homosapiens could not endure; any well trained, psychically strong mutant would not struggle to intrude.
Stealth: 5/15 - As a human form Slade still is inept at stealth due to his size, yet he has improved over the ten years and as such holds a higher level of stealth than before. In car form his stealth is beyond humanely possible because for one a human cannot disguise himself as a car, and also Slade has learnt to control his car form better and for longer and as such his stealth is far improved in efficiency.
Senses: 10/6 - While not beyond human he is as acutely trained to sense in human form as possible. Rigorous training and experience on duty for the kabal has heightened his senses, not just through discipline but also experience as he know what to listen for and where to look for hostile actions or suspicious activity. In car form slade still has little senses due to the obvious notion that he cannot look behind him. However having driven himself around for ten more years his senses have improved marginally.
Mutated Strength: 20/10 - Slade in human form can now fire far more rounds due to his work in combat for the kabal, and replicate his matter to regenerate the matter lost from bullets more efficiently due to his training and conditioning. He can hold his own for a whole battle now when using his autopistol when using normal rounds, and the strength also represents the augmentations from his collective research and experimentation on his own ability. His mutated strength as a car is the same as his normal strength.
Mutated Control: 20/20 - This represents his control over all of his transformations, working for the kabal and the drive to perfect his own skills have led him to optimise the control of which he uses his powers. His transformations and uses of his weaponry are now second nature to him.
This is an explanation of the compostion and relation between Slade's organic and non-organic materials. It also clarifies issues about his general biology. As more questions are asked this post will grow.
Slade is a hybrid of organic and non-organic compounds. His matter is a collation of the two. He is no longer of the human 'species' as such due to his unique genetic make up and inability to procreate. His human organs are now separate car parts, and in essence can still function to an extent, he no longer has blood but instead burns fuel. His stomach is now his fuel tank, and to an extent it can break down certain materials, but not an extensive amount as it pollutes the fuel and so can cause Slade to malfunction.
His entire body no longer functions like a humans, obviously. These of course are much more complex and must be done by another while Slade is in car form, as when he is in his humanoid form he has shrunk his body size so to be a more 'human' size. One cannot fit or repair a car part when it is not of the right size and thus another must 'operate' on his body when it is in car form. As such his lifespan also hybrids between a cars and a humans span. His body can be maintained as long as a car can be, while his mind would be expected to last as long as a human's could. This adds a potential advantage or disadvantage to his lifespan, as if his body and mind can be maintained at a functional level indefinitely then it is plausible that he may live much longer than a normal humans, yet it is entirely plausible that if an irreplaceable car part [Or ifhe simply isn't maintained] malfunctions or his mind ceases to function to a significant capacity then he will die.
EMP in regard to Slade - approved by Calliope
Slade is incredibly vulnerable to EMP, it can potentially kill him if he is already in a state of large enough damage. Even when in perfect health an EMP pulse will knock him out for several hours. The reason he does not die to any EMP pulse is simply because he is not entirely machine, his organic systems have an integrated way to return systems to functional capacity provided the EMP damage was not to great. While of course nuclear EMP is fatal to Slade, NNEMP (non-nuclear EMP) is less effective to an extent. There are still levels of NNEMP that will kill Slade but if the circumstances are right Slade can generally recover from a pulse of NNEMP. However his systems will need thorough checking and maintenance, not to mention the neurological damage dealt by an EMP pulse could be devastating to things like memory and cognitive function that Slade may never fully recover from. As such, Slade can recover from the vast majority of NNEMP pulses. He will be severely damaged by such pulses but he can at least survive. Nuclear EMP is fatal where Slade is concerned.
