MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

Well, the title's misleading, in that I have no clue what's been updated. Perhaps some of the other Mods can fill in the blanks. But, as you can see, we have our board back. Yay! If anyone encounters any bugs let us know, so we try to fix them and get an idea if things are back to normal.
Also, since we've been MIA for the better part of the week/end, please be patient while waiting for your rp partners. Be considerate and try not to jump ahead of them too far; give everyone a chance to get into the swing of things again.

Okay..... So, as you can see, the board is once again running, after a hiatus yesterday. Unfortunately, we seem to be a bit..... scrambled. lol The boards are now currently listed in alphabetical order, so things are not where they should be. Sorry all for the inconvenience. But look on the bright side: We can post! And chat!
PS: Now would be the time to run around and save your character profiles and favorite threads to your hard drives, children. That way when the site gives you heart attacks, you can make... heartattackade.
We are officially unmixed! Yay! Well, sort of.... A couple of the boards have been reordered, but for the most part, things are now back to normal. We'll be working on the cosmetics (like the annoying blue space at the bottom of the page ) for a while longer. But all in all, things are back to normal again.
At least, as normal as they can be with chaos-happy mutants, issue-ridden zealots and destruction-desiring robots running loose......

As you may have noticed, members of our three factions now have logos signifying which group they belong to. Aside from changing member groups (aka making the names gray, red, or blue), which only Lady J can do, we have come up with logos that we can give to members of each of the factions that any mod can add. MRO has been given a new look. We changed it to give the site a more professional look (for those who want to visit while they are at work or school) and one that will load a bit easier for people with slower connection speeds.
This is still a work in progress, and we have some kinks to work out. Please share any suggestions you have for making this new look even better.
If you absolutely hate it, please send a PM to lordawesomeofpwn. Or simply change your skin to "MoviePoster" and pretend that none of this ever happened.
A new Cbox has been added to the site, courtesy of Calliope and Historian.
You'll notice that this Cbox does not have a 'refresh' button. Instead, you will see a 'Join' button. Click 'join', and the Cbox will begin autorefreshing whenever someone posts. Each time you changes pages (ie, switch from the Home Screen to Inbox, or after you post a reply), you will need to click 'join' once more to start the autorefresh process. It may seem a bit tedious, but as Historian remarked, think of if as only needed to click 'refresh' once.
A tip for those of you who don't constantly want to join on every page, open the Cbox in a separate window or tab (for Firefox and Google Chrome users).
For those of you who are going through Refresh Withdrawl...... There will be a Refreshers Anonymous meeting at 1800 hours this eve.... >_>

Please only post your questions in the questions thread. It keeps things tidy and easy to follow for other members as well as newer ones. Threads started will be assimilated into the questions thread and deleted from the main FAQ forum, so please... post in the appropriate thread

We've updated the boards a bit.
Main changes include: - The "Mutant Revolution Online", "Rules", and "Join" boards have all been combined into "Mutant Revolution Online: Rules & Application" - OOC FanFic and FanFic have been combined into one board - "Idle Chat" and "Talk about whatever" have been combined into just "Idle Chat", located in the "Outside of MRO" category at the bottom of the board - The Archives board has been moved out of its hiding spot on the Character Profiles board, and placed on the main page below its former home.
Other than that, there have just been slight re-orderings and name changes to make things more logical. Please poke around a bit, and get familiar with the new layout! Note: none of the IC RP boards were affected, and no threads were deleted; they were just moved.
