The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Syn gave an odd look as Packmaster leaned close yet she didn't move. She could hear him breathing in as if smelling her. "Nice to meet you Packmaster. What brings you hear? If you don't mind me asking that is." She looked him over while waiting for a response.
Preturbed at the fact that he was talking to an Alpha, and no one seemed to notice her, Packmaster managed to shake off his own sudden unease.
"I was wandering through town, and I remebered hearing about the attacks. I figured I'd see if you people needed a helping hand." He looked around the repaired area. "Though it looks like everything is under control."
Following his gesture Syn also looked around with a pleased feeling. "Yeah, Lisa here has done an amazing job of getting things fixed up while most of us were preoccupied." Syn nodded to Lisa who in turn smiled and nodded back.
"Though most things have been repaired or added to I'm sure we could use and extra person around here. There's bound to be something where your talents may come in useful." Though Syn didn't know Packmaster's talents she would be sure to read up on them when she had the chance. "If you're hungry I could take you to our cafeteria. They have excellent food and they can prepare almost any meal you may want."
Now, Packmaster isn't exactly a clever person. But he still noticed the way the two women interracted. With a small sinking feeling in his stomach telling him he was heading for trouble, he nodded to her.
"I would like a bite to eat." He said, covering his momentary unease with a smile.
